Christian Vs Jack Swagger- christian wins due to mcmahon management losing faith in swagger
Edge Vs John Cena- cena retains making Edge a pussy still who can't win a big match and retain cleanly
Triple H, Batista and Shane McMahon Vs Legacy- Legacy via Batista turning heel on triple h
well done by super batista for returning 3 months early from an nasty injury

Lots of fresh match-ups then..

I sesne backlash being another one of those PPVs that end up being BETTER than Wrestlemania
Posted By: the Rev (Guest) on April 07, 2009 at 10:38 PM
As I was saying, add HBK/Taker II,Jericho/Steamboat and a Jeff/Matt stip match and this could the best PPV of 09 so far.
Posted By: gary year (Guest) on April 07, 2009 at 10:39 PM
Batista will not turn on Hunter at backlash it will be after that. Batista will win the match then ask for a title match because he is the won that saved Hunter's Title

That would be great! Stuff em in a garbage can and roll them down the ramp like M&M races during basetball games

The WWE or WHT title should never be defended in a match that involves teams. Especially a match where the person who gets the winning pinfall can walk out without the championship.

They need to have a singles match between Jericho and Steamboat!!!! The man has been on fire!!!
Posted By: Adam (Guest) on April 07, 2009 at 10:56 PM
Batista turns on HHH so RKO gets the belt!
Posted By: FUZEY (Guest) on April 07, 2009 at 11:18 PM
Orton wins due to the mastermind behind of Legacy... "The Original Second Generation Superstar" Vincent Kennedy McMahon, the son of Vincent James McMahon, the founder of the WWE.
And a Snuka v. Jericho match would be great,
but put a Taker v. Jericho match instead and it will be MOTN, Jericho takes on the legend who refuses to Rest In Piece.
Also when did the WWE rehire Russo?
Posted By: Guest#5005 (Guest) on April 07, 2009 at 11:20 PM
It will be a better ppv if Steamboat has a match.

They stated on Raw that if Shane or Batista get the pin or submission, Triple H keeps the title, same thing with Rhodes and DiBiase

Wrestlemania might have sucked in some peoples eyes, but at least i was in the fan axxess highlights. I was the chubby looking bogan who was from Sydney with the stunning girlfriend. Backlash is shaping up fine to me but and i stress this HBK should not wrestle the undertaker again.. the reason is simple, they couldn't top the match they had at wm25 and it makes it more special if they never have a match again. I would like to see the IC belt defended.. the wwe has so much untapped talent that could be used as an IC match. Shelton, Morrison, Christian, MVP... there's a couple of names and if you can't get a decent feud going out of that lot then somethings wrong. The ic belt used to be a stepping stone for the superstars to then go on and win the WWE championship - Stone cold, the rock are 2 of the more obvious ones who successfully did that.

Main event is super-TNAish..
Posted By: Classic (Guest) on April 07, 2009 at 11:39 PM
HHH is going to retain, then Batista will say "You've got something of mine... come Judgment Day, I'm gonna be needing it back." And then he'll do the Batista Bomb on him and on Raw the next night HHH will Pedigree a basketball.

To the poster above me, what is a "bogan"?
I think that everyone who ordered WM XXV should get Backlash for free, or at least at a deep discount. Hopefully this year is like 2000, where Backlash made up for how lame WM2000 was.
Posted By: Steve307 (Guest) on April 08, 2009 at 12:25 AM
You just know they are going in to do a Batista/HHH program so that HHH can get his wins back from 2005. I can telegraph this a mile off. I hope both tear quads and arm muscles at the same time.

So if Triple H gets the pinfall he shouldn't walk out with the championship?

Midgets FTW! I totally agree with posters saying that WWE needs more midgets and more midget fights. In fact I also think they should bring back the Midgetweight Championship and the Midgets Division. Also they should get King Kong Bundy back and have him job to midgets in their Revenge of the Midgetkind storyline, it would be awesome!

Glad Mark Henry was eliminated. Best to get him out of the way as soon as possible.
Posted By: Engel (Guest) on April 08, 2009 at 03:14 AM
My best-case scenario: Tommy Dreamer takes home the ECW Title in an Extreme Rules match. His contract expires and he retires the title forever, thus "forcing" ECW to shut down. All the ECW talent go to either RAW or SD! in the draft. Except for Mark Henry who goes to TNA.
But that probably won't happen.

"didnt dreamer promise to win the ecw title by wrestlemania?"
Close, the 'Extreme Rules' PPV. If he doesn't win it by then, he said he'd retire, if I recall correctly.
Posted By: Banz (Guest) on April 08, 2009 at 06:22 AM
Jericho will DDT Steamboat on the concrete floor, just like I did when I faced him Providence back in the 80's
Posted By: Jake Roberts (Guest) on April 08, 2009 at 07:33 AM
I have personally told Jericho to use the ring bell and ram his throat with it. That's was I did.

Someone tell me what is the logic of defending a singles title in a team match.
Posted By: woody (Guest) on April 08, 2009 at 11:14 PM
Don't get caught in the double-armed chicken wing, Chris. Especially after Steamer works the arm for twenty minutes.
Posted By: Ric Flair (Guest) on April 09, 2009 at 10:04 AM
I love how when TNA has done multiman tags with thier world title on the line the threads are filled with people crying and bitching and hating and talking about how a match like that devalues the title.
WWE does it, and it's all good. i love a double standard, don't you?
Posted By: Pat (Guest) on April 09, 2009 at 11:04 AM
Well i know all hhh's team gonna win n john's gonna retain i m his bigggggeeesst fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!
