Doesn't seem much like a PPV spoiler if they are going to announce it tonight on TV.

Hmm... I thought creative wanted to end the feud at 'mania. Oh well. This match should be good though. Hopefully they'll get around 15 minutes of match time.

With all these gimmicks it's looking like a TNA PPV. Only better.

Posted By: Foolio (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:01 PM

Jeff needs to get the win there, after Matt won the grueling match at Wrestlemania.

why dont they just re-name backlash "the night of a thousand stipulations"?

Posted By: tzmission7 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:04 PM

Good thing Teddy booked that stretcher match last week. You know, before they ended up on separate brands and couldn't fight each other any more.

Does it mean I lose if I quit caring weeks ago?

Posted By: The audience (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:08 PM

God I hope Matt wins

Let's hear it for the brand split!!!!!!!

Wait, what brand split?

There is absolutely no point in having a draft if they're just going to continue using everyone across all three brands.

Posted By: Guest#9955 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:09 PM

What brand extension?

Posted By: Todd Vote (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:11 PM

HOW DID THIS GET OUT!!!!
I WANT TO SEE HEADS ROLL FOR THIS

Posted By: Vince Mcmahon (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:11 PM

Really glad we had that draft that changed the face of the WWE forever.

Posted By: Captian Sasspants (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:18 PM

Can someone explain to me how this is a spoiler?!?!

Posted By: guest (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:18 PM

I Quit will be awesome, hopefully they do some crazy shit

Posted By: Bill (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:26 PM

Way to start actually adding matches with nine days left, WWE!

* Matt Hardy: Drafted from Smackdown to Raw

Gotta love the draft!

I was expecting a cage match for the next match, surprise surprise

Posted By: Guest#4798 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:49 PM

So much for the brand split...

Posted By: Reverend Psycho (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 01:59 PM

I predict a win.......for a Hardy!lol

Posted By: Guest#0950 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:15 PM

Looks like Jeff just got busted for drugs and this is their way to write him off...

Posted By: Jordan (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:17 PM

Noice. I'd like to see Hardy vs. Hardy in a Cage too, but I Quit should be awesome...

cue people bitching about the Brand Extension, or just bitching as usual.

Posted By: BBM (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:17 PM

Nice to see the brand extension is back in play.

Posted By: Guest#4746 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:29 PM

Never thought I'd see a bunch of losers crying about an I Quit match

Posted By: Bill (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:30 PM

This is a spoiler, but giving the results to the TNA Global Impact months prior is not? Weird logic.

Posted By: Champ (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:34 PM

@idiots complaining about the brand extension:

this feud started on one brand and has not been finished yet even though they are on different brands. they're not gonna just drop one of their hottest (was) feuds just because of the way they were drafted. think before you type.

Posted By: Guest#2518 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:40 PM

I'm sick of this feud

Posted By: Dwayne (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:46 PM

Stop complaining about the brand extension.

Posted By: Guest#4993 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:57 PM

BFD, hopefully they say I quit at the sametime and we can be spared of hearing either of these two fucktards voices ever again.

Posted By: Captain_America (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 02:59 PM

This is more of a Smackdown spoiler than a Backlash spoiler. A Backlash spoiler would involve spoiling the result of something at Backlash, or spoiling a surprise appearance by a new/returning Superstar.

And by the way, does anyone else remember when Lawler (I think it was Lawler) used to refer to the Hardy Boys as the Hardly Boys?? LOL!

Will thrid times a charm happen for Matt Hardy to win three times a row, or will it happen for Jeff to finally snap the two match lossing streak. I predict Jeff will get the job done this time.

Posted By: oh great (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 03:31 PM

Oh so its fine when the wwe does a show full of gimmick matches
Last Man Standing could be good if it had someone other than Cena wrestling Edge

Posted By: random (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 03:47 PM

But they were drafted to different brands? You mean WWE lets wrestlers switch through brands? (sarcasm)

Posted By: Captain Obvious (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 03:54 PM

So Jeff wins it and that ends the feud... why do most feuds have to end on equal pegging... it would geniunely be a pleasent surprise if Matt got the win here again... but as a babyface... when has a babyface ever said I Quit with out shinangans!

Predictability = Suckitude.

Posted By: Andrew Barbarash (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 03:56 PM

Come on now... It wouldnt be Backlash if most of the matches werent rematches from Mania!!

should call it Back-Hash instead

Posted By: Your Suprised? (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 04:08 PM

I guess the brand split is only for the weekly shows and they can intertwine at the PPV. That's actually cool, cause it'll keep the weekly shows separated and allow for cross-promotion challenges when there is a gap or room for another match at the ppv. Just don't overdo it. Maybe one cross-promotion match per ppv at best. This is a good one, as Jeff does need at least one win out of this program. With the stip, he can get it and keep Matt looking strong

Posted By: WhatBrandExtension? (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 05:49 PM

Maybe we'll get paired up to call this match..what a joy for all the ppv audience!

Posted By: Todd & Michael (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 05:51 PM

I would rather see if the MITB case gets cashed and they LOSE but WIN if he cashes it in for the LMS match and if Cena wins that. Cena = turning heel = EPIC vintage Ratings!!!

Posted By: guest1228 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 05:54 PM

And of course Jeff has to win at the end! Fuck putting Jeff over Matt always

Posted By: Guest#6840 (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 06:22 PM

Wondering if Jeff got legit injured at 'Mania and needs a little time off. Give the win to Matt so he can ride the "I retired my own brother" heat to a WHT feud against Cena. Hardy can win the title after copious cheating (to give him redemption in the eyes of the fans), then hot-shot the title to CM Punk when he cashes in MitB 2 minutes after the match ends.

Only thing that would suck out of that would be a feud between Punk/Cena. Straight Edge vs. Clean Cut? Might devalue the PG image in fans' minds.

Hardy I Quit match... yawn.... wake me when its over. WWE just isnt innovative anymore.

Top 5 innovative match stips:
TLC
HITC
EC
Inferno match
lastly,
MITB

Is this Brand extension a one time only comment or will we keep saying this from now on.

June 20th show at least says both Trip and Cena will still be champs after Backlash.

theyll feud till at least summerslam...hell in a cell anyone?

Posted By: Chyna (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 09:29 PM

Jeff should win but not by means most think. Matt basically destroys his brother but Jeff just wont quit. After the last huge spot and Jeff once again refuses to quit Matt looks at Jeff and is about to punch him but cant because he is realizing the error of his ways so he quits.

God damnit that keeps the both of them looking strong and closes out the feud nicely. Thats how you tell a god damn story.

Posted By: John (Guest)  on April 17, 2009 at 09:42 PM

Yup, I agree with John here. It would make more sense for Matt to win but considering that they had 2 matches before this one, Jeff will probably end up winning. When I was watching this match at WrestleMania, it was a solid match but most of the crowd was upset that it was so short. So hopefully they give this match more time so they can put on the show that they are capable of doing.

How can you guys be shit all over TNA when they did a 5 man tag with their championship on the line and who ever got the pin on the champions team would retain the title and if anyone on the challengers team won only the captain of the team would win the title, but when WWE does, idiots say its better than TNA??? How'd u figure?? It would be extremely more exciting if whoever got the win got the title, so the champion has a possibility of losing his title from his own team amtes, or a surprise could happen and some1 like Ted Dibiase could pull off a surprise title win only to lose it the next night back to the former champion.

And WWE has stipulations in every match on the card. And why is it people bitch about an I QUIT amtch which ahsnt happened in a while, but are ok with a LMS match which they had like 4 of them LAST year! Orton/Trips Taker/Big Show MVP/Big Show Triple h/Big Show etc

i think wwe spends too much time with these story lines. they need to focus on the wwe tag team belts and make that important again. use some of these average wrestlers, put them together and take them from average entertainers to a good tag team. same situation with the i.c. belt. why isn't that belt important anymore? why not have a tournament for too see who is the #1 contender for the i.c. belt. wwe needs to stop focusing so much on the wwe championship and the world championship titles. wwe needs to put e.c.w. to bed. take all 15 wrestlers and spread them out, between raw and smackdown. one last thing if wwe is going to have a draft, why am i seeing wrestlers cross over constantly. how about giving vicky guerro the boot! i love wwe too much to see all this nonsense continue.
