WWE News: Backlash Dark Match, Fight Breaks Out During Hardys Match, Extreme Rules PPV, Cena/Coachman, More
Posted by Ashish on 04.27.2009

- In a dark match prior to the Backlash PPV last night, Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler.

- During the Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy "I Quit" match on the PPV, two people in the crowd got into a fight that saw one person fall down the arena stairs. This is why the audience seemed distracted from the Hardy vs. Hardy match.

- WWE has settled on the title of "Extreme Rules" for their June PPV. The poster for the show features Rey Mysterio. [PWInsider]

- Sherri Shepherd from The View is set to manage MVP Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. MVP will face Dolph Ziggler for the WWE U.S. Title. For more on this, click here.

- The advertised dark main event for RAW tonight is Triple H & John Cena vs. Edge & Randy Orton.

- ESPN has posted this video of John Cena running into Jonathan Coachman (who now works for ESPN).

"I was there and NO fight broke out during the Hardy's match"

Right, Rev. Good call. Thats why the crowd turned its attention to sections 106/209 for about 5 minutes, security came down, hauling a jacked balding dude away and helping up some piece of white trash with a busted nose and torn blue shirt. No fight at all. Apparently I was 30 feet away from a f**king tickle party.

The Rev and Oswald are the same person. Douche cant talk up for himself so he makes up another personality to defend himself. Lmao sad.

Anyway, idiots like Rev say whatever they want true or false or just plain patheticly stupid b/c its the internet and people can hide their shame. THERE WAS A FIGHT. Dont argue with an idiot over it.

He should have made him do the charleston.

Why doesn't Cena hate Coach for turning his back on wrestling? At least Coach is on a hit show, and not bombing out at the movies.

And thank god there's people like you Oswald, to be total asses in open chat. Guest#1669 was just making a point about how it wouldn't be possible to keep tabs on the entire arena and you jump on him because you have some delusions of eloquence or intelligence. I hate morons like you who look for any excuse to tear someone down in an open forum with no cause to. You are a bully, a coward, and a fool. Kindly, kill yourself.

I was there aswell and there was in fact a fight. It took place in section 106, I was in 104.

I was there and NO fight broke out during the Hardy's match

Posted By: The Rev (Guest) on April 27, 2009 at 01:14 AM

*******************************

Rev, the fight was 50 feet away from me, and it was pretty intense. One guy took a flying leap a few rows down. Six people were punching each other in the head until a team of a dozen security officers descended on them.

It came at a good time, too; during all the rest holds early in the match.

That arena had four sides to it... it's very possible that the fight took place in one of the 3 sides that you were not sitting in.

Rev I was there and there was a fight and it was far from perfect!

MR. Prefect!

Posted By: Mr. Prefect (Guest)  on April 27, 2009 at 10:16 AM

You all just look to start arguments don't you? It's the most pointless thing too, you could clearly tell that something was distracting the crowd. The only thing capable of distracting from a fake fight is a real one, the Rev reeled you all in.

Posted By: dennett316 (Guest)  on April 27, 2009 at 10:28 AM

I was there at Backlash and The Rev wasn't.

Posted By: TAKE THAT! (Guest)  on April 27, 2009 at 10:36 AM

There was a fight. It was in 106, I was a few rows behind them. There were 4 to 5 kids behind the jacked dude and they were yelling shit all night. He told each of them he was going to break their fucking jaws if they did it again (exact words). He sat down and the jackass right behind him let out a WOOOOO! right into his ear! the dude turns around and just beat the shit out of each of them. Security came and took everyone away. They let the big dud back in though.

You guys are all such douchebags. You actually ask for suicide off a sarcastic comment, all while crying about how mean the commenter was?

Sense of Humor died in the IWC a long, long time ago.

l suggest rev get the hole in his rubber woman fixed, and get his rocks off that way instead of wasting time and space on a wrestling forum by showing how starved he is for attention.

Are you that lonely and desperate for attention that you would LIE about going to Backlash???

I can understand if you are in Elementary School and you want your friends to think you're cool but why do it when you are a grown adult???

Welcome to trollville!

I was there and NO fight broke out during the Hardy's match

Posted By: The Rev (Guest) on April 27, 2009 at 01:14 AM

ummmm.....You could plainly see on the PPV that people were watching something else other than the Hardy Match.

And according to other posters that WERE THERE, 411, pwi, and and a few other sites, THERE WAS A FIGHT!

Why lie about something like that?

Unless, YOU were the one that got hit and fell down the stairs.

And judging from your comments on here, I can see you making some dumb ass comment at the show and then someone punching YOU in the face.

I just wish I had been there to see it!!!

Posted By: The Rev lies (Guest)  on April 27, 2009 at 01:09 PM

I was there too. There was no fight. It was all done with holograms.

Posted By: THE Zachariah Zantabulator (Guest)  on April 27, 2009 at 01:11 PM

Guys, leave THE REV alone. Just look at his other comments and you will know that he just posts this shit to get to you.

He wasn't there. He was complaining the other day about paying 40 bucks for the PPV. I highly doubt he paid to actually SEE it live.

He's just a lying douche bag.

Posted By: He's not worth it. (Guest)  on April 27, 2009 at 01:17 PM

i love when people pay more attention to some asswipes in the crowd than on the event they paid money to see.

Posted By: The Rev (Guest) on April 27, 2009 at 01:14 AM

Wow, it's great to see what the Rev has been up to since he was the QB of the Titans' during their magnificent undefeated season all those decades ago! To think he went from all that to attending a wrestling show and then commenting about it on a wrestling news site! Wow! Don't worry dude, even though Sunshine was a little better than you, I'll ALWAYS remember the Titans!

... wait, what the hell are we talking about?

Posted By: Chico (Guest)  on April 27, 2009 at 03:39 PM

Um, wouldn't being on the other side of the arena from the fight have made it possible for him to see the fight?

Posted By: Chico (Guest)  on April 27, 2009 at 03:41 PM

I was there and actually THREE fights broke out during the Hardy's match.

man, why is everyone picking on poor rev, just because a fight may or may not have happened. give the guy a break, its not like there is anything going on in his life. let him have this one, ok guys? then rev can go to sleep in his spiderman pjs & dream about being important.
