Matt Hardy Injured at Backlash

Not good for Hardy…
During the I Quit match at Backlash last night, Matt Hardy suffered a broken right hand and is expected to miss 4-6-weeks. As of a few weeks ago, Matt was scheduled to be one of the top heels on Raw, and feud over the US Title with MVP.

It'd be a shame to deprive us of the potential for a fresh feud like Matt/MVP. Maybe they can still have that feud, but have some non-wrestling contests to keep the feud going until Hardy is cleared to wrestle. Pie eating contests and the like. Thoughts?

Here's hoping when he comes back in 4-6 weeks he can STILL be one of the top heels of Raw. He deserves it.

Why not have him come out in a cast, deliver promos, and beat people over the head with said cast. It worked for Owen Hart. Hardy cannot afford to miss alot of time like that. Gotta keep that dirty heel heat up.

Hey he can claim that he is a big fan of Cowboy Bob Orton and wrestle with a cast on and have a 4-6 week fued with Randy Orton. They can even have Randy's daddy come out in support of Matt which will piss Randy off and give him a chance to kick his own father in the head.

One of the hardest workers on Raw, but with HHH, Orton, Cena, Batista, and Michaels there the only singles title Hardy will see after injury will be the US title!

Matt in TNA = Still a 1.3 rating
Matt in WWE = Still a 3.7 rating
He doesn't push the needle one way or another, just a good worker who can put on good matches. Also probably gets paid more by the WWE than he would have in TNA.

A broken hand is no reason to not be on tv for 4-6 weeks. He's on the biggest push of his career, and if he lets a broken hand stop him, he doesn't deserve to be US champ.
