Some news to kick off the day!
- Daniel Puder (6-0 MMA) has his first MMA fight since September of 2007 on Saturday night when he faces Jeff Ford. The fight will take place at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California at the "Call To Arms 1" event. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]
- WWE.com will not be offering a Randy Savage DVD and T-Shirt package like they do with many new DVD releases. They will offer a set with the DVD, a book on the WWE in the 80s as well as some of those rubber WWE bracelets. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]
- For the first time since 2006, WWE Monday Night Raw will be live on Labor Day (September 7th) from the Allstate Arena in Chicago. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]
- Pantagraph.com has an interview up with Ted DiBiase Jr., hyping the WWE house show Saturday night, which is the first ever show at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. DiBiase also discusses the physical toll that wrestling takes on the human body. You can check out the full interview here.
- The WWE Backlash DVD will be released on May 26th.

I read the Dibiase interview. Ted Dibiase Sr. wrestled 7 days a week, year-round. And Vince McMahon didn't care that his wrestlers were beating up their bodies 300 or more days a year to make himself rich. Who in their right mind would force wrestlers to wrestle so often ?
