Possible Judgment Day Spoiler
Posted by Larry Csonka on 05.17.2009

In New Orleans, where the Extreme Rules PPV will be, they are already running advertisements that could spoil tonight's main event. The ad announces the main event of Jeff Hardy defending the World title against Edge, and also includes Hardy stating, "I will walk in as champion, and walk out as champion".

What's up with the month long title reigns in the WWE? It's getting ridiculous.

Almost as ridiculous as these STUPID FUCKING video ads on this website with that crackhead Michael Irvin. Seriously, I think we would all gladly donate money to this site just so we never have to hear these retards ads.

Ha ha, another short title reign for Edge? Look for him to have 13 world championships by Armageddon

Posted By: Bill (Guest)  on May 17, 2009 at 06:20 PM

Well it was probably true until Vince found out about the information leaking

Nice, Edge will have HHH and Ric Flairs title reigns beat in no time at this rate.

good, now this is another excuse not to buy it, knowing that jeff hardy wins the world title... they give that thing to anyone dont they

Edge: Ten Time World Champion.

I like the sound of that.

I'm calling it. Wrestlemania 16, it'll be Edge vs HHH for one of the Vacant titles, both at 16 title reigns even and the winner breaks Rick Flair's Record.

Hell No...

"they give that thing to anyone don't they"

What a loser. They only give it to people that deserve it. But they take it from people with stupid fans.

Don't be so afraid, remember back in 08 when reports came in that backlash 08 commercials hyped orton defending against hhh and jbl? That was wrong, cena was added

I've seen the promo. It did say that Jeff Hardy will Edge at the show. Right before the quote, Jeff said he was winning the belt at Judgment Day, walking in New Orleans as champ and walking out as champ. Nothing about him already being champ.

Remember kids! You too can be a flaky, drug-addicted, talentless fruitbooty and still win multiple World titles in the WWE!

It's a tad counterproductive for the WWE to promote a kid friendly environment while giving an undeserved push to a coke hound.

The WWE World and Heavyweight titles have become the most meaningless titles in WWE/WWF history. The list of people that have held them and their number of title reigns are ridiculous. Unify the belts, have someone new win them and then give then a long, meaningful reign. That's the only way they can ever salvage some dignity and return people's interest to WWE.

You mean to tell me that they know Jeff Hardy is gonna win before they wrestle. That's not fair.

edge won his first world title THREE years ago. now he is competing with HHH to beat ric flair's 16.(no one will ever beat the all time record of 3,458 by jerry lawler.)

Soo when is Edge going to have a lenghty title rein and when will RVD sign?

Posted By: Guest#1576 (Guest)  on May 17, 2009 at 07:55 PM

in december, local tv was running ads weeks in advance saying edge was going to defend the wwe title against undertaker in a steel cage match at a house show.
however, jeff hardy was the wwe champion at the time and the ads were still running.

This is just like when Kane appears on a poster and the copy and paste internet wrestling "news" community assumes he is getting the title.

Seriously, Smackdowns World Title has changed hands every PPV for the past 7 Months

Judgement Day Spoiler? Or last-minute Judgement Day FOILER planted by McMahonagement to help boost the buyrate?

Given Jeff Hardy's contract situation, I strongly suspect the latter... though I wouldn't rule out C.M. Punk cashing in MITB in his hometown, either.

For a house show here on May 30th they are advertising Hardy vs. Edge as a number one contenders match.

agreed with these ads, they suck.
