- Here is the quarter hour breakdown for the May 18th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. The show did a 3.6 cable rating, with hours of 3.51 and 3.66. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]
* 9:00 - 3.68 (Orton in ring Promo with Flair)
* 9:15 - 3.44 (Cena Interview, Diva Battle Royal)
* 9:30 - 3.53 (Santino vs. Chavo, Miz and Maryse Backstage, Matt Hardy Interview)
* 9:45- 3.37 (Vickie and Chavo Talk, Colons vs. Kendrick and Goldust, Miz Walks)
* 10:00- 3.76 (Miz Mocks Cena, Big Show Kills Lawler, JR Joins Commentary)
* 10:15- 3.52 (MVP vs. Matt Hardy, Flair and Batista Talk, Chavo Teaches Vickie a Frog Splash)
* 10:30- 3.48 (Santina vs. Vickie, Talk About Next Week, Legacy Comes to Ring)

You'll notice the ratings tanked during the segment that the Miz appeared. The owners of those TVs made a conscious decision at that time to turn the channel for 15 minutes, until the Miz was done with whatever he was going to SAY. He NEVER actually wrestles any more...which is a GOOD thing, because he's the WORST wrestler on WWE's payroll! I hated having Rey Misterio on RAW because he's not believable enough, but the Miz is light years worse than Misterio...I mean at least Misterio has some moves!
The Miz is NOT awesome. As a matter of fact, he's Miz-erable! Get rid of him! I can't believe that WWE can't find a better talent than that slug!

This stuff means nothing for the most part. Of course the highest ratings are going to be at the top of the hours. Thats when people channel surf because whatever they were watching is over and its time to find something else. I love the Miz but he didnt pop the ratings. The clock did.

No actually I would put it more on Big show beating up on Jerry Lawler that made the rating drop as much as the Cena lovers want to cry that hes all anyone cares about. The guy mocking him is getting the big ratings and before you cry that people didn't know Miz was coming out he was shown in the back coming out in Cenas outfit heading for the ring before the promo. Sorry Cena marks people get a bigger kick out of him getting mocked then him being around and talk about the kids be stupid enough to think they're up late enough to make a difference.

No actually Neilsen does hourly breakdowns for every show that they rate.
It's been like that since the early 80's.
