During the pre-show portion of the ROH on HDNet TV tapings, Ric Flair came to the ring to put over ROH and its fans, but tell everyone that he's decided to move on and go back to WWE. He thanks everyone for their acceptance and support and leaves.

What did you expect? When ROH started using on a regular basis, it was doomed. The guy was always going to go back to the WWE. Anyone who bought the "departure" last summer were total marks. No company should have ever planned on using him long term if they weren't the WWE.

Honestly, is it a big loss? It might be financially if, as pointed out earlier, if his deal with ROH offered guaranteed money of some sort. But as great as it sounds on paper it was obvious Flair's passion (the kind he showed at Judgement Day and RAW) simply wasn't there. He treated ROH like he did every other indy he's appeared at. It always helps to attach a legend like Flair to the product but ultimately I don't see it as a great loss. Now whatever money is saved from Flair's departure can be used to either bring in a name-guy to complete full-time or shore up existing talent to a long-term deal.

Oh fuck Ric Flair and fuck ROH for thinking having a guy who needed to READ OFF A FUCKING CARD the names of two of their main events ON THE FUCKING TV SHOW because he couldn't remember their names was a good idea. Serves them right. Maybe management will get their heads out of their asses for the first time in eight months and start running the company like it was a year or two ago.
