ECW Title Match Announced For Next Week’s Raw
Posted by Larry Csonka on 06.09.2009

During tonight's edition of ECW on Sci-Fi, it was announced that Tommy Dreamer will defend the ECW against Christian on next week's three-hour Raw. The show has a "3-For-All" theme, with a WWE Title, ECW Title and World Title Match on the show, as well as the stars from all three brands appearing.

Already announced was a four-way match to crown a new WWE Champion, which will feature John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. The Big Show vs. Triple H.

Way to go, WWE. You have, on your hands, a stupendous opportunity to elevate a new star into the main event stratosphere and you recycle four guys who've been there, done that eleventy billion times over.

WWE "creative" really needs to be renamed, like yesterday!

Tommy Dreamer and Christian have had decent matches against one another so far, so that should be OK.

What no The Miz in the mixture? This is not fair.

Christian's bringing the belt home to the peeps. Put a little story behind Dreamer retiring so they can get some emotions for him, then put the belt back on someone better. And I'm saying that as a Dreamer fan.

So, no MVP. MVP winning at Raw would have been way better than this,

I wonder if they'll put the title on Big Show just to swerve everyone?

Stop with the goddamn Miz bullshit! He fucking sucks balls. He should be sweeping a floor somewhere, not wrestling. Fucking morons.

So there are people here who are griping about the same old guys fighting for the WWE belt, while in the next breath saying that The Miz should be in there? Maybe Miz will be in there...in about 15 years, after he learns at least two wrestling moves, which would be two more than he knows now!

Miz is the definition of "All talk, no action". How is that good on a wrestling show? Miz would only have a future if WWE would bring back managers/valets...

chucky ... he may suck balls.. but right now, that's better than watching the same old same old that the E has been handing us for the last 4 yrs. I like watching Cena, Orton and HHH, (they're all eye candy ;) but the main event status on Raw (and SD for that matter) is stale as hell right now..

Nicole...I agree that the main event is stale as hell. I just don't think Mizanin is the answer. He's just annoying to me.

yeah its not fair. HHH will still be wearing the gold when hes 75. and vince will be in a nursung home saying thats my boy.

So yeah...how bout that brand extension?
