While the original plan was to keep Ric Flair off of TV for at least two weeks, he will be returning to WWE TV tonight. It is not confirmed, but many expect that he will be named the general manager of Raw.

OMG! WHAT A TWIST!Come on Raw you guys are getting so weak with your story lines. At least you could of made some one more interesting a GM.
Posted By: Chongotron (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 10:53 AM
He will cut a promo and then leave for TNA.
Posted By: Guest#3892 (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 10:57 AM
I didn't know RAW ran repeats.
Posted By: WHOO!! (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 10:58 AM

But Ric Flair said he never wanted to be a GM or manager. So much for that.
Posted By: Michael (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:25 AM
Ric should change the Main Event as his first order of business and isert the likes of MVP in there. Just to shake things up and give the fans the ILLUSION that we could possibly see a NEW champion. Not the typical multi-time-rinse and repeat champion. Especially not Triple H, or better yet, Big Show. Sigh
Posted By: Oscar (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:30 AM
He'll be there 2 months then turn heel. Then they can run the evil heel GM bit for 2,987,654th time.
Coming up with something new must suck for these people.
Posted By: chucky (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:33 AM
How funny would it be if Jimmy Hart were the GM. I would watch
Posted By: High&Inside (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:33 AM
I will be named GM tonight!!
Posted By: Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:36 AM
what is this 2002? Or monday nitro 1999? come up with something new. I would rather see Stephanie Mchmahon as the gm.

"He will cut a promo and then leave for TNA."
"Gosh, I sure hope he can stay for the whole show."
Fucking hilarious and LOL worthy, but only 5% of the audience is gonna get the joke.
Posted By: Ramsey (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:40 AM
maybe raw should it's name to WWE Overcooked
Posted By: shaydee (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:47 AM
Way to sell the kick.
Posted By: Guest#9913 (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:57 AM
I love RF and this will be fun, but there are LOTS of other guys who would be fun too. Piper, Jimmy Hart, Dibiase, Honky, Heyman or pretty much any other great talker from 80`s-90`s.
Posted By: FUZEY (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:57 AM
Gosh, I sure hope he can stay for the whole show.

WINNER!
Posted By: Jason (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:57 AM
The smart money says Flair inserts himself into the WWE title match, wins his 17th championship and then proceeds to put the belt into a trash can on next weeks' ROH on HDNet broadcast. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!!!!1
Posted By: EZMark (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 11:59 AM
I guess Orton's punts are becoming less effective.
Posted By: ODog (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 12:05 PM
Wow, other people get kicked in the head and are out for months. Flair is 60 gets kicked in the head and is back in a few weeks.

Name three people more interesting and historic as Flair for GM?
Posted By: Guest#7331 (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 12:51 PM
Fucking Great... now we are guaranteed that HHH will hold the title for years by booking anyone who opposes GOD (HHH) in matches that are impossible to win.
Posted By: Guest#7741 (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 12:59 PM
i don't think he'll be GM, creative will tell him "they have nothing for him"
Posted By: Guest#3123 (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 01:05 PM
pls stay away !! wwwooooooooooo
it has come to this ...that we have to stay to ask u to stay away....what a way to tarnish your legacy (pun intended)!!

"But Ric Flair said he never wanted to be a GM or manager. So much for that."
Money can make ppl change their mind. Just ask Ric himself. He'll screw over his other duties for more money

i am going to raw tonight here in charlotte. his ass better be there.

My wish would be for Flair to admit that Jericho was right. Maybe he doesn't agree with how Jericho said it - but he agrees that we need to bring in some new life to the WWE and to Raw. And for that reason - the tourney with HHH, Orton, Cena and The Big Show will not be for the World Championship - but will only be for the #1 contenders spot. There will be a new tourney - with four guys getting a shot at the title who normally don't get a shot. Three of those 4 guys are:
Kofi Kingston
MVP
The Miz
And Randy Orton - I'm going to let you pick the 4th guy. You can pick either Ted Dibiase or Cody Rhodes.

Back in my day, we didn't need a general manager. Matches just appeared out of thin air and nobody seemed to question it.
Posted By: David (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 01:48 PM
Slick for GM 2009!

Doy! Stephanie can't do it. Orton kicked her in the head, or DDT'ed her or something and she had a baby.
Does that make Orton the father of Triple H's baby? I smell a new storyline!!!

I live in Charlotte and plan to attend the show tonight. Last night I was at a bar watching Lakers/Magic game 5 and I saw the Nature Boy himself in there. He actually stuck around for a couple of hours.
So, he is definitely in Charlotte.

the GM/commissionaer/authority figure thing is just so played out its insane. Time to move on. And the way TNA just half-heartedly imitates, without ever really dedicating itself one way or another is even sadder.
Wrestling needs a massive injection of 2009. Cos right now, I feel like I'm in a hillbilly-induced time warp.

is this gonna be a one shot deal?
(oh yes i did)
Posted By: RVD (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 02:27 PM
Heel Flair as GM, stacking the decks constantly against Triple H so he can't get closer to Naitchs record
= Gold
OR
Triple H bum chum Flair as GM
= Glitter on Dog Shite
SWERVE ME ONE TIME AND GIVE ME THE UNEXPECTED FIRST OPTION WWE, I EMPLORE YOU, SWERVE ME, JUST ONCE IN THIS CENTURY.
Posted By: CockKnocker (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 02:30 PM
oh FUCK YES
Posted By: Mr Comments (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 02:57 PM
Ricky Steamboat for GM,
He would make logical decisions, not get worked up and the storylines could revolve around the in-ring talent and not the GM.
It would be great!!
Posted By: Guest#7742 (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 02:59 PM
bring back Eric Bischoff, the best Raw GM of all time. The guy is simply entertaining.
Posted By: mike D (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 03:46 PM
If it has to be Flair, why not Heel Flair, with on screen assistants Dean Malenko and Arn Anderson as his modern day stooges.
Batista can return as a tweener, Flair showing his true colours and helping Batista to win the title.
Stack the deck against the faces of the show, screwing them over and just when it leads to revenge on the faces part, we can get the return of Sid Vicious for one last run in the WWE.
Horseman running wild. Sid and Batista taking out the likes of Cena and Triple H.
It's not like anyone else will get a push, so we may as well make it slightly interesting.
Posted By: WhatTheDeuce? (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 04:09 PM
Ugh... well not like it would be a shocker... give me Bischoff! even Adamle!
Posted By: Guest#9507 (Guest) on June 15, 2009 at 04:15 PM

“Space Mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it has the longest line.”
"Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going. Wooooo!"
