Off Camera Notes From Raw
Posted by Andy Clark on 06.16.2009

After Raw went off the air Triple H played to the fans and threw his armbands out into the crowd. He milked the audience for a while before he threw the second one, which went behind the commentators tables. It looked like a kid got knocked around in the fracas and both Triple H and Jerry Lawler went over to see if he was alright. Triple H took him into the ring to do the Triple H pose with him.

After the kid went back to the crowd Triple H continued slapping hands with fans at ringside and joked around with the commentators. He stole JR's hat and slapped hands with it on, and then he put it on Michael Cole's head who tried to imitate JR's mannerisms. Triple H then organized JR, Lawler, Cole, Todd Grisham, and Matt Striker to all do the Triple H pose with him at the top of the ramp before they all left. Pretty funny, especially seeing Striker get really into it.

when will the insipid iwc neanderthals accept the fact that wwe is entertainment and that wwe does not have to cater to the iwc punks whims and desires.

wwe is a 900 million dollar company and it will go on long after their worthless lives come to an end.

WWE is entertainment and entertainment shows run their course and after a certain amount of time they get cancelled. Wrestling is a sport and sports don't get cancelled. Wrestling will live on far longer than WWE. The form wrestling will take changes over the years and the form that real wrestling is taking now is Mixed Martial Arts. The UFC has only been around a small fraction of the time that the McMahon's company has been around which goes back to the 50's if you trace its origins to Capitol Wrestling, The UFC only started in 1993 and it's already soundly defeating WWE's pay per view buyrates. More importantly, MMA is a sport which includes wrestling in it - real wrestling. Unlike entertainment TV shows, MMA will not be cancelled. It's the fastest growing sport in the world. The origins of it go back to thee pankration games , thousands of years ago. These "insipid" people on the internet are the people who take enough interest in these things to research them and keep up with what is going on in the current events that pertain to the sport they watch. How can you defend people who are content being ignorant of what is going on in the world and don't use the internet to keep up with the latest information? This is the 21st century. If you don't use the internet to keep informed you are not keeping up with the times. Refusing to use the latest technology to be educated and informed on what is going on in the world is what is insipid - not the IWC.

I would bet you any amount of money I could that I will be alive longer than the current WWE exists. All anybody would have to do is live longer than Vince.

Say what you will haters but HHH is a class act and for what it's worth he can wrestle with the best of all time.

And thanks to the prez - WWE is now a 900 million dollar company instead of a billion dollar company - heck, maybe Vince can get a stimulus package.

More hater basing Triple H. Nothing he does it good enough, I suppose. Haters wish they could have Triple H's life.

Because they should listen to their fan base like the one in Charlotte last night who crapped all over that Trump angle and that wasn't the IWC was it moron? Why do tools like you always think everything is a great idea. Heck I can't stand people like you because you kiss their ass like everything they touch turns to gold. Get a reality check and realize you're the problem not the IWC.

let the triple h's haters bitch now...nothing the man does is good enough, that was great wat he did and im sure that kid will never forget it great for him

In a world of script, it is great to hear that HHH knows how to keep the fans happy and keep the money flowing.

Now, of course money flowing for WWE could mean money flowing for HHH as he is a part of the family; but, he is at least carrying the weight he needs to carry to reap the benefits when the time comes.

All haters should realize that what HHH did was not a matter of kissing ass to the fans; but, keeping the fans happy for the sake of the WWE world.

Kudos to you HHH as I have seen you learn lessons that others should be taught!

ore24,

I couldn't have said it better. The kid will never forget the night he had and the price he and his family paid for the ticket is valued at pennies on the dollar thanks to HHH.

Screw all you haters. Wait until you are old enough to have kids and then you will truly understand!

I recognize that wrestlers are certainly athletes, but wrestling in and of itself is not a fucking sport.
