- Taz has a new Q&A up on his Facebook, discussing support he has received since leaving WWE and getting into MMA as a commentator. You can read the full Q&A here. Here are some highlights:
Chris Jones (Blue Mountain)
Yo man have you ever thought about trying to get in the UFC & do commentary with Rogan & Goldberg? That would be pretty freaking awesome...
**I actually have thought about doing color in the MMA world. Humbly speaking...I feel I would be a good fit with my Judo/grappling experience, being a fan of MMA and my obvious WWE broadcasting background...I be a pretty good hybrid commentary for the MMA realm!
- Justin Credible's Icons of Wrestling event, which takes place on August 2nd in Cromwell, CT, will feature the following talent:
* Scott Hall (Receiving the first-ever "Rebel of Wrestling" Award at the event)
* Terry Funk
* DDP
* Harley Race
* Justin Credible
* Salvatore Sincere
* Tony DeVito
* Rick Fuller

Well that's a relief about Orton vs. Triple H, for a moment I thought they lost their minds and didn't have a WWE Championship match for the Bash, 13 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT

Rebel of Wrestling = No-Showing Asshole

Good God, end the fucking Orton/HHH feud! Enough is enough!

Is WWE taking a page from TNA's book by giving away matches on free TV?

Rematch why?
Posted By: T-Mac (Guest) on June 16, 2009 at 02:45 PM
Id say theres maybe two legit icons at said "Icons of Wrestling" event.
And Tony Devito is not one of them

That is the wrong choice for a RAW Main Event at the Bash. It should be Randy Orton vs. John Cena. It would be a 4 star match, unlike Thor giving him a 1 3/4 star match. HHH is the most boring wrestler on the RAW Brand. He is like Bread that has an expiration date of 11/17/87.

Sal Sincere? Guess the real Patriot kicked Tom's ass good.

Yea, it's not like we haven't seen enough of HHH vs Orton in the past.

Salvatore Sincere....(Tom Brandi) an icon!? Someone please explain this....

Yawn...Let's hope that someone gets injured so we can have a fresh title match at the Bash.

Calling it now, the HHH/Orton match gets interrupted by the Legacy, with the Colons running in to even things up. Brawl takes us off the air.
The week after, main event of Orton & Legacy vs. HHH & Colons, rematch at the Bash announced.

The Bash is the only PPV not seen anywhere in BC Canada. Every other PPV does.

We should have WWE make The Bash The Canadian Bash.

Not knocking Justin Credible, but I thought he settled down and got a job at Olive Garden. How did he go from that to promoting?

"Is WWE taking a page from TNA's book by giving away matches on free TV?"
What are you talking about? WWE was doing that in 1993 (Mr Perfect vs Ric Flair in a loser leaves town match on free television anyone???"
Posted By: kliq316 (Guest) on June 16, 2009 at 04:30 PM
"Scott Hall (Receiving the first-ever "Rebel of Wrestling" Award at the event)"
And he will no-show obviously...

HHH in the title spotlight = MVP MIZ Kofi on the back burner and forgotten. Not that I wish injury on anyone but HHH will not stay out of the spotlight as long as he does not have a career ending injury. Hmmmm.
Posted By: guest1228 (Guest) on June 16, 2009 at 06:25 PM
Let's not forget the two Iron Man matches that were on free on TV. Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle on Smackdown for the WWE title, and HHH vs Chris Benoit for the World title on Raw.
Posted By: oh great (Guest) on June 16, 2009 at 06:46 PM
So a rematch so HHH can add to his tally on monday and then lose it at the PPV?
Posted By: Guest#8289 (Guest) on June 16, 2009 at 08:58 PM
Because we can't just get enough of that exciting HHH/Orton program. Say, what was that about MVP saying he wanted top be included in that title match?
And any event featuring Salvatore Sincere and Justin Credible is loaded with WIN.

Didn't Orton and Crippled H work a Last Man Standing match in some PPV already? I will start watching RAW after this so called feud ends.

Chris Benoit was an evil murderer! Any mention of his name is a blaspheme to wrestling!!!! He will rot in hell for the things he done, and you will too for mentioning him. HE NEVER EXISTED as anything but a murderer. The good lord will strike you down for mentioning the bastards name, thank you JESUS!!!!! I hope anyone who still thinks of this man as a legend feels the wrath on the DAY OF RECKONING!!! The war is coming!!! Follow the path that the lord JESUS has laid in front of ye!!!!1

Yes, on the 2009 calendar that came with an issue of WWE magazine they have the June PPV's listed as One Night Stand and Night of Champions.
Posted By: Eric (Guest) on June 16, 2009 at 11:05 PM
Wow this PPV is really going to suck, and I already blew $250 on my ticket. They better atleast have a Hell in a Cell rematch so I can atleast see something cool live

Well, the last time HHH and Orton had a Last Man Standing match Orton broke his collarbone. Hopefully, HHH breaks something this time.

Um...... you remember what happened to the last tag team champs who helped HHH out right?
Kick, Bam, Pedigree x2 London and Kendrick Berried.
And it is a last man standing match cos god forbid HHH can't eat a clean pin.

Their match at 'Mania sucked hardcore donkey balls, so what on Earth would make the assholes behind the scenes at WWE think that ANYBODY would give a fuck about not one, but TWO more Randy Orton/HHH matches?!!?!? This feud is played out and nobody cares anymore. Don't these jerkoffs get it?! We want a FRESH main event picture going into the second half of '09. How the WWE sells PPV buys based on this as the main event or one of the top matches on any given card is beyond me. WASTE OF TIME, WASTE OF CASH...RINSE, RECYCLE, REPEAT... B-O-R-I-N-G
