Various News: Batista Injury Update, Roddy Piper Arrested For DUI

Good news and bad news….
- According to TMZ.com, 55-year old Roddy Piper was arrested for DUI early this morning. Piper, real name Roderick Toombs, was stopped by police in Hollywood at around 1AM, was given field sobriety tests and was then arrested. Bond for his release has been set at $5,000.
- Batista was telling people at Raw this week that his recovery is on schedule, and that he will be able to start working out in 4-6 weeks. The hope is that he can return by Survivor Series, which will be in his hometown of Washington DC. Batista was upset about missing the upcoming July event in the Philippines since he's part Filipino; he is treated like a hero there. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]

I was about to say the same thing. I was and still am a Roddy Piper fan but that's just funny he insulted Santino about it and a year or so later gets one himself. As far as the angle, it led to Santino's feud with that one guy from the Jimmy Kimmel show on Smackdown. I didn't bother watching it because it didn't have any interest to me, I would have rather Piper feud with Carlito and Santino instead.

WTF why ? IF you caught in Canada you do the test they send you home( drive you ) ( you can't drive that night ) but you can drive up until you final court appearance / judgment
whats all this bail shit in the U.S about anyway ? Considering it's his first offense 5,000 is a little high !
