The Latest On The Kurt Angle-Jeff Jarrett-TNA Drama
Posted by Larry Csonka on 07.21.2009
Here is the latest…
- It has been confirmed that Jeff Jarrett and Karen Angle are romantically involved, which has been rumored for many months. Kurt Angle has been aware of the relationship since last fall, while he was feuding with Jarrett.
- TNA is not commenting to the public on the situation, and while it has been reported that Dixie Carter sent Jarrett home, others are saying that Jarrett made the call himself.
- Jarrett reportedly made the call to go home when an issue of custody over the children arose between Kurt and Karen. Jarrett reportedly thought it best to remove himself from his TNA duties during the dispute. Until this time, he and Angle had been "co-existing" backstage.
- While there are rumors that Angle is looking for creative control, others are reporting that there is no major push for a new creative direction or team at this time.
- People within the company want to know who made the call to the Bubba The Love Sponge Show, since that started this all. Some feel that the Bubba call could have been staged just to out the issues.
Poor Jeff still seems really upset over his wife dying of cancer not too long ago...

I would bang Karen Angle like a screen door in a storm.

The man has to move on with his life and Karen must of seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

Jeff Jarrett and Karen Angle have every right to go on with their lives. It's unfortunately a volatile situation, but love is rarely simple.
Posted By: Brian Kessler (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 04:24 PM
It was Road Dogg, or BG James or whatever he was called in TNA. Listen to the call, it sounds exactly like him, just obviously distorted.
Although, the caller did call himself 'James', and surely he wouldn't be so stupid to do that... right?
Posted By: Guest#5413 (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 04:26 PM
Fuck Jeff Jarrett.

Jeff has waaay better hair.

Remember the possible reasons why the Angles divorced in the first place:
His dangerously close to paralyzing himself in the ring. What kind of wife would not want to see that for her husband or worse the father of their children
2) His reliance on pain pills. Again how is a wife and the children to respond and deal with that in their lives?
Posted By: bostonguy1973 (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 04:31 PM
Fuck Jeff Jarrett.

Jeff went home probably because Angle could snap at any moment.
Angle mad= RUN!!!
Olympic WRESTLING champion vs a guy who's only pretended to wrestle his whole life? I'd go home too.
Posted By: demOcratic (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 04:37 PM
Karen Angle has really lowered herself...
I mean going from one of the greatest wrestlers of all time to a glorified midcarder.
I bet Karen sells the 'stroke' really well.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Jarrett the majority owner of this company? Last I checked the owner of the company runs the show. He should care less what Angle thinks. Kurt works for Jarrett and last I checked the employees don't run the show. Well if they do then you have WCW and we all know how that ended.

makes a lot more sense for this "drama" to be about the kids then about karen.
Posted By: Guest#1085 (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 04:49 PM
If my options were go home and bang Karen Angle, or stay and watch that shit Victory Road PPV I'd go home at the drop of a hat too.

I look forward to this playing out in roughly ten years time. Playing the role of Daniel Benoit will be...

I should have known something was up when Jeff gave her a show called Karen's Anal!

It does seem like a work but you do have to remember who's writing this stuff...
Posted By: the dude (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 05:28 PM
It's a crappy situtation that all parties are in, but in reality, I don't see this relationship lasting. Neither are ready for anything serious, so it's probably just a fling. Kurt should move on with his life too. The beatiful people, TAP THAT Kurt. Hit it, and hit it hard.
Posted By: awsome69 (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 05:47 PM
Look, don't get pissed at Jeff for moving on with his life. I'm sure he was upset and I'm sure Karen was upset about her tumultuous situation, and sometimes it's just the right place and right time.
Is it a little weird given Jeff's role with TNA? Yeah, but sometimes love is complicated and you don't choose it... it chooses you.
Posted By: Matt (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 05:34 PM
Hopefully Angle has enough of it and comes back to WWE where his career will have meaning again.

If Kurt Angle had done what was best for his marriage to keep his wife from leaving him, none of this would be happening. He's a fool.

Go Jeff go.

Though I think the smart money would be on Eric Young...god knows TNA has done everything else to kill his career

I never ever thought I would read the sentence 'Love is complicated' in the comments section, especially when referring to something that is a work. How easily people forgot that Russo books this company.
Posted By: Guest#2525 (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 06:08 PM
Karen Ange's overrated.
Kurt should go ahead and bang the current Knockouts Champion, Kathy Griffin.
Posted By: poffo316 (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 06:09 PM
Jeff's not the one giving it to Karen, I am. I needed an upgrade. Now, excuse me while I lay and pray on that and show her who the real champ is.
Then I'm gonna drink a coors light since bud light won't pay me.
Here comes the pain!!!!!

Angle, go back the 'E. TNA is dead in the water, head over to the 'E and have a feud with CM Punk and put John Morrison over before it's too late!
Posted By: Parxy (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 06:15 PM
Push Jarrett out Kurt! At least kick his ass... but push his ass out and take control of TNA and make it credible again, like 05-06.
Posted By: Greatest Man Who Ever Lived (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 06:36 PM
So, Karen Angle divorces Kurt because he repeatedly cheated on her and was/is addicted to painkillers. She then tries to move on with her life and start another relationship? What a bitch. Doesn't she know she's Kurt's property even AFTER they've divorced?
Jeff Jarrett's wife dies of cancer a few years ago and he has the audacity to date again? What a dick. He should just be miserable for the rest of his life and his children should grow up motherless. He's so selfish.
Meanwhile, Kurt Angle is a prescription drug addict with a reputation for losing his temper all the time and always cheats on his wife. Then, after she leaves him he finds out about her dating someone else and decides to use it as a career boost and gain creative control over the company and kick out the one person standing in his way. yeah, he's definitely the hero and the victim here.
Poor Kurt Angle. Poor pitiful Kurt Angle.

"Kurt Angle has been aware of the relationship since last fall, while he was feuding with Jarrett."
So what's the problem?

"His dangerously close to paralyzing himself in the ring. What kind of wife would not want to see that for her husband or worse the father of their children
2) His reliance on pain pills. Again how is a wife and the children to respond and deal with that in their lives?
"
yeah.. because divorcing him and keeping him away from his children will make it all the easier on them when he dies or becomes the next christopher reeves.. (shakes head)
so much for "in sickness and in health"
though, ya do have a point about the
profession that he's in and the risks
of being paralized..
what is it that Double J does again ?
...oh... lol.

Okay, Jeff is a widower and Karen is a divorcee. So as long as it doesn't interfere with business, I have no problem at ALL with them being together. It's all between Jeff and Karen, and Kurt and the kids.
Posted By: MadmanJack (Registered) on July 21, 2009 at 06:51 PM
OK you stupid ass kids, the reason why this is stupid from Jeff's stand point is that why in the hell would you stand up a chance in sending your BIGGEST draw back to the your competition? Anyone think there is a chance that Angle is going to resign with TNA after this act of unprofessionalism? I doubt it...
Plus like what I told my boy on the phone yesterday, why would you even want to date Kurt's wife when in the back of your mind you're always thinking "Karen is probably just doing it to get back at Kurt"
Posted By: Industry (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 06:59 PM
I've been waiting for someone to ask if Karen doing Jeff was a one shot deal or she had signed......where are the usual posts when you expect them?
Posted By: Draxxilla (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 07:05 PM
Pleeeeeeease just go back to WWE, Kurt. You've been thinking about it for awhile now, here's your perfect chance. It would be the most exciting thing to happen to that company in a long, long time.
Even moreso than Jericho's return which kind of fizzled at first.
Posted By: The REAL MP (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 07:15 PM
Does that mean Shane Douglas, Raven, Lance Rock, Jimmy Rave, Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt and Jacqueline were also hooking up with Kurt's missus?

"Kurt Angle has been aware of the relationship since last fall"

I think I might be able to work out who the mystery caller is. Obviously who ever it was is out to kill Jeff Jarrett's career... therefore you could kinda call the mystery caller a killer... wait a minute Killer is Rellik spelt backwards.
The mystery caller is Rellik who must be finally awaiting his much anticipated return to TNA!!! Lord have mercy on us all!

Aha! So Kurt got booked to win the TNA title at Slammiversary because he lets the founder plough his ex-wife... NICE!
Posted By: and why not (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 07:40 PM
"Last time I checked, Jeff ran the company"
Which is why Jeff made the right call and went home. What did you want him to do? Fight Kurt? Send him home? He's still got to pay him. Might as well pay himself to sit at home while the Angles work out their issues rather than cut Kurt a paycheck and get nothing out of it.

Good to see that Jeff Jarrett is still morning the death of his wife........ I'm mean we are talking about the same guy who started his own company, just so he could make HIMSELF champion b/c everyone else in the world can see his as a no talent peice of shit. Hopefully Angle hate fucks both of them in the middle of the ring......... TEAM ANGLE!!!!

You're wrong. Jeff Jarrett is 2nd in command in TNA and Dixie Carter is the go-to girl. So she can legally out Jeff and there would be nothing he can do about it.
Posted By: Guest#0205 (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 11:00 PM
"there is no major push for a new creative direction or team at this time."
And THAT is the most unfortunate piece of news in this post...

I think its a shoot. JJ's banging Karen.
You know Kurt could fuck Madison Rayne anytime he wanted to.

Posted By: Greatest Man Who Ever Lived (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 06:36 PM
kurt wasn't even in TNA until sep 06 so the reason why tna was good back then was because jeff was in the company and at the time the nwa champion, and to the person who said jeff jarrett owns tna, he does not. Dixie owns the majority control of tna, but jeff still has a considerable amount of the company so he's like VP
Posted By: Guest#3388 (Guest) on July 21, 2009 at 09:32 PM
Angle needs to be breaking JJ legs. YOU DONT MOW ANOTHER MANS LAWN!!! Even if it isnt your lawn at the moment.

Guest#2538 Said: "Hopefully Angle has enough of it and comes back to WWE where his career will have meaning again."
"Meaning again" as in mid-carder just like Christian, Gail Kim, and R-Truth?

Who gives a DAMN? Every one needs love and attention. Especially if you lost someone you love...Time has healings and so do people. If there was no opposite sex. What would life be like? Jeff saw an opportunity and that opportunity was a single person who attracted him... What's wrong with that. Good job Jeff, I would not waste a single moment without a Baby Doll, like Karen Angle, she's like an open field ready to be harvested.. It's an open field...Goo going TNA...Seriously, it's no one's business..It happens every day on Earth..

Wow, ol' Double J Jeff Jarrett is getting KA's sloppy seconds.
Double J:"Kurt, haw haw haw...I told ju I'm the best at stealing spouses, haw haw haw. Just ask Mongo McMicheal, haw haw haw."
(remember when Jeff use to do that hillbilly shit in WCW with his manager and haw the fuckin' haw all the time, couldn't wait for him to get away...haw haw haw)

what the hell a couple things 1st thats there bussnis not fans we have now right knowing there bussnies as far as the situation there shouldnt be jerret should even mess with her. angle and jerrit work together go up and down the road together karrins hot but let her alone jeff is a star and succses he could have a number of hot broads why make an uncomftrible situaion when there just shouldnt be one and who cares about crative contole u got russos crazy ass any imput should just help i watch tna cause we get better qualty matchs and better new stats for the most part
Posted By: greenman (Guest) on July 22, 2009 at 12:06 AM
If it's a shoot, Karen's stupid for fucking up an iron-clad divorce settlement. Unless she was angling to get Kurt fired, in which case she should've been muching on Dixie's rug and not Jeff's. Dude doesn't even book this shit. He's barely the boss' friend, who's a dumb ass for shitting where he eats. Hooters is filled with future Karen Angles. And finally, why the fuck does Angle care now after blowing it off on Stern. This doesn't make sense, since Jeff would have prolly cosigned on anything Kurt wanted so he doesn't jump to The E - whether dude was shtupping Karen or not.
If it's a work -- expect it to end with a 'Karen on a Pole' match. Or is that how this whole thing started?
Posted By: Trueindeed (Guest) on July 22, 2009 at 01:05 AM
So much for Double J's "morality" issues.
Posted By: WetOREO (Guest) on July 22, 2009 at 02:00 AM
Fuck all this talk about "love". And fuck you Karen! What kind of woman divorces the father of her children and then turns around and hooks up with his boss?!?! If Kurt was smart, I know big "if", he'd leave that second rate company, go back to Vince and finally put a nail in WCW2.0
Posted By: JC in AZ (Guest) on July 22, 2009 at 05:23 AM

Posted By: JAK (Guest) on July 22, 2009 at 08:50 AM

I find it fucking hilarious that all the WWEtards are now clamoring for Kurt to come back to WWE. The same idiots that said, "Angle is pushing 40, why the fuck is he champ?", now are on their knees ready to suck his cock once he shows back up on WWE tv. Dumbasses!
Posted By: Typical (Guest) on July 22, 2009 at 11:11 AM
Just to let some of you people know that the WWE doesn't want Kurt back. Vince said hell no when asked about it.
Posted By: Guest#1411 (Guest) on July 22, 2009 at 04:05 PM
It's obvious Kurt and Karen are swingers. He's admitted his attraction to other women outside of the ring and she needed something herself. Jarrett's just doing the Paul McCartney thing so it's all fair. Dixie Carter probably sent him home because she knows it would be a distraction and hypocritical if he disciplined someone younger.
