Update On Traci Brooks and Playboy

Bad news kids…
Due to a change in editors at Playboy, the Traci Brooks pictorial will not run in the magazine. Brooks was scheduled to appear in the magazine this fall, but the new editor in charge has decided that he didn't want any association between the magazine and professional wrestling.
The good news is that the photos taken will appear in the "Cyber Club" of the Playboy website later this month. Brooks was brought back to TV and inserted into the Main Event Mafia angle to play off of the upcoming Playboy shoot. Brooks would have been the first female wrestler to appear in the magazine that was not a member of WWE.

the magazine would have bombed in sales anyway.
the last 2 divas wwe put in playboy did not do well in sales so tna would have done much worse since they are smaller than wwe in notriety and fanbase dept.

You know this is a good thing... i like hot women, but seriously Divas and women in wrestling are wastes of space. wwe pumps them up gets the publicity from throwing em in playboy then dumps them. Its a freaking joke and is horrible wrestling. maybe this gets them off the raw broadcasts... hopefully

Last i checked Sable/Rena Mero and Torrie Wilson and yes even CHYNA made history with record number sales for PLAYBOY !
And now this new editor wants nothing to do with Wrestling ?
Fuck you Playboy ! If it wasn't for some of Wrestlings women on your cover or nude in your books the late 90's and early 2000's would have been a wash for you wash , rinse , repeat plastic women !

Although I don't agree with Playboy's decision to not associate with the wrestling business. I also wasn't hyped on Tracy being in there. I feel there are a few women in TNA that are way hotter than Ms Brooks.

Noooo... they did a special on pro-wrestling women way back when. Mostly it was the GLOW girls, and the 'stars' of some 'wrestling movie' if I recall, but there were female wrestlers there. Not debating, at this time, the quality of the wrestling.

TNA cost her playboy cause of there poor booking.
Traci Brooks was bumped from the November cover of Playboy. The story is that Playboy approached TNA when WWE decided to stop doing it. Traci took the pics shortly there after with a request from Playboy that TNA push her hard on Impact before the issue came out. So a few months past and Traci wasn't used on TV at all until word leaked out that she did the pictorial. By this point Playboy had lost interest and now her pics will be posted online instead for Playboy's Cyber Club members on September 17.
