I'm quickly learning how DirectTV can't seem to do anything right these days.

"Stings contract does expire soon...."

- To which he'll retire or either make sparodic appearances for TNA, he'll never sign a WWE contract, the guy's got too much integrity.

Ric Flair will always live in Jeff Jarretts shadow.

I think Kurt Angle fucked Mike's wife and mom...every female in his family. Wooo. It's true, it's damn true.

Maybe TNA wants to copy the Katie Vick storyline. Maybe we'll see Angle molest Jarret's dead wife's body in a casket.

If it wasn't for HHH and Shawn Michaels politics and Vinnie Macs goshdarn stubborness Sting would come to WWE to the delight of many.

In some way it would be cool to see STING in the WWE but I also respect him for not selling out to the WWE.

the Jerrett/Angle 'controversy' is the Matt/Edge/Lita work of 2009.

I believe Sting has already stated that it was the T&A of the WWE and general tone that he doesn't like. If those are the main factors, then he would never come, regardless.

As far as is known, Jarrett's wife never had anything going on with Kurt Angle before her unfortunate death. However, Angle's ex-wife is choosing to be in a relationship with Jeff, not Kurt.
So neither woman thought Kurt was better in the way you so weakly try to imply.

the thing I always heard was that Sting would never work for WWE when they were more 'adult' oriented. now that they're PG, would he work for them? or did someone get their wires crossed and he just doesn't want to work for WWE because of the behind the scenes politics?

Yes, sting does have too much heart and integrity. But wouldn't it be cool to see Sting vs Undertaker in a match? Im just saying.

And yet WWE uses the Guerrero situation, funny how more people arent raging against Mysterio, Chavo, and Vicki for being a part of it.

does anybody else think that it is more possible for Sting to join the WWE these days since it is so kid friendly now?

Jeff Jarrett
"He doesn't have a peer in this business for his ability once the bell rings.

"From bell to bell I think he may be the best this business has ever produced."
Hey Jarett yes he does have a peer and i can think of several wrestlers that surpass Kurt Angle
1. Chris Benoit
2.Bret Hart
3. Shawn Michaels
Thats off the top of my head, and the Crap now you see isnt the real Kurt Angle in the WWE which was amazing. but still he wasnt good as these men in hisprime and there prime. Benoit, Hart and Michales were great for some what 20 years almost and Kurt had 3 or 4 years when he was at a great standerd but he is no where near what he use to be

well, except for the fact that TNA has more T&A now then the WWE has, and the overall tone has actually gone from Attitude to Storytelling (with a certain subjective level of success) and has gradually been allowing more wrestling and less bullshit (at least on Smackdown and ECW) the odds of Sting eventually having a run in the WWE now is better than it has ever been before.

But i would just be glad to see Sting accept an offer to join the HOF myself.

Jarrett probablly meant Karen Angle as "best ever"

@WhattheHell
I know it's a personal taste thing, but I wouldn't put Bret Hart on that little list, he's far too limited in terms of having the same match for 20-odd years. Same with Flair. Both could get a great match out of anyone, but barely evolved throughout their career.
Michaels, Angle and Benoit had/have their signature spots but all have the ability to change it up, insert new moves and spots and generally ensure the "samey-ness" never crept into their matches.
Also, as much as I loved Benoit as a wrestler (my favourite) he belongs on no top ten list. Any wrestler that doesn't murder their wife and child automatically jumps above him - even Gillberg. Even fucking JBL.

To say Bret Hart dont belong on the list is insane. see I wasnt a big fan of Shawn Michaels awhile back ago but i would never deny his skill.... Hart is prob the best wrestler this industry has ever seen, i dont think Bret Hart had the same matches he is gulity for the same sins as a Shawn Michaels or a John Cena or a Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit, They have signature moves and they use them in the same order sometimes in a match.... Bret Hart didnt have the same matches with Shawn, Henning, Owne, Diesel, Benoit and the Bulldog, they were all diffrent matches sure he worked the leg on bigger men but i think he used that has being a smart wrestler gimmick.... and Benoit did what he did but that doesnt mean he wasnt one of the greatest wrestlers ever... Benoit could careless if we aknowledge or erase him from memory, Benoit doesnt benifit from for us aknowledging the truth of him being one of the best ever, Right now Benoit could careless we only do are self and the people who worked hard and had there career highlights with Chris Benoit a disservice not the gulity party. We aint the crimnals, Jericho, Angle, Austin, Rock, Regal and countless others didnt murder the benoits. so why shpould we all suffer? why should we take out are favorite matches from memory, or why should Kurt Angle pretend the master pieces him and Benoit had didnt exist?... I tottally understand some one not wanting to watch a benoit match but thats what a fast forward button is for or a skip button is for. I think its dumb to exclude all Benoit matches from PPV's and WWE 24/7. To have a celebration or a Benoit special on WWE 24/7 or a DVD made for him is a stupid thing to do, but he is part of the show he is part of the show, dont destroy the whole show cause of it.

Sting was smart to never join the WWE. They'd never give him his due respect because he wasn't a Vince creation. It was really low of WWE to not even include him that much in the WCW DVD.

Posted By: JR (Guest)  on September 07, 2009 at 11:05 PM

I say bring in Adrian Street to face Undertaker and the winner can take on Sting. I love Adrian Street, and Undertaker, but damn WWE wants to raid Dragon Gate and ROH for talent but the older guys are still in the spotlight. As kevin nash said if they keep cutting them checks they'll keep showing up. Sting should come to WWE just to have one finally match at a pay-per-view with Flair, retire, hall of fame, finale'. Go out leaving the fans wanting more, not less

I've heard some rumors on the DL that it might be possible that Sting will come in to face the Undertaker when his TNA contract is up.

I really dont see how Bret is any different from these guys, he did insert new moves as much as any of them as far as i can see.

'Sting was smart to never join the WWE. They'd never give him his due respect because he wasn't a Vince creation.'

god, get off the smark's cock, ok? Sting would get due respect if he showed up and worked (unlike Steiner, for example.) i would ask if you knew anything about business, but i already know the answer. Sting is a proven commodity, is, by all accounts, highly respected in the industry and has, reportedly, only refused to work for the WWE in the past based on the content. Now that the content of the current WWE programming is now family firendly, it does open the door to Sting signing if he wishes to.

'It was really low of WWE to not even include him that much in the WCW DVD.'

what is really low is the assumption that they could include him as much as they wanted to.

this is why i know you know nothing of business.

Steve Borden owns his Sting gimmick. If the WWE included him without his permission, then Borden can launch a very successful copyright infringement suit.

Given tha tSting is also employed by another company, the WWE would also have been quite hesitant to have him involved NOT because he could shit all over the WWE, but because they really wouldn't be that interested in paying royalties to an employee of a competing promotion.

just because the WWE owns footage of matches and shows that involve Sting, and can use the footage of Sting's matches in the context of the entire show, doesn't mean that they have the right to edit any footage of Sting that they want.

i know that was a lot of words, so i won't be offended when your only response to me is that you think i am homosexual and involved in a sexual relationship with Vince McMahon. any thing other than that would just tax your little brain and send you crying to mommy.

"It was really low of WWE to not even include him that much in the WCW DVD."

Hello - he gets an entire freaking section to himself in the Stars of the 90s DVD. I'm pretty sure he is on the Starcade one as well.

The WWE can use his matches from WCW because they own the rights. They can't interview him about the history of WCW because he is contracted to TNA.
