I used to buy 4-10 PPV's per year. Now I buy none. It's because of bullshit like this.

so the exact same matches as before, with a couple of heads getting raked across the cage. Lame.

So at Bragging Rights, are we going to see Orton vs. Cena in the choice of a hair for hair (Cena cuts his or Orton dones a rainbow wig) match, a Tuxedo match, or loser wears chicken suit match? And DX vs. Legacy in either a two partners in the ring at once match, a crybaby match, or a tag-team blindfold match?

But in all seriousness, why do we have 14 PPVs a year again? So we can see 5-6 variations of the same main event from the previous PPV. :P

ENOUGH WITH THESE FUEDS ALREADY!!

Also, I think they should add Dave to the Punk-Taker Hell in a Cell World title match to take the fall so Punk can hold onto the belt a little bit long.

I can't believe they're actually going to have three Hell in a Cell matches on one pay per view, and I can't believe they're going to do the same three matches which received the theme stipulation treatment at Breaking Point. I just hope this whole gimmick match theme thing doesn't work out and they'll move on in a couple of years, although all of their gimmicks will be tired by then. Who new what horrors TNA would unleash upon the wrestling world when they birthed Lockdown?

Outside of Orton/Cena/HHH, I actually think the WWE has been very good lately.

However, I hate the idea of a HitC PPV. It totally devalues the gimmick.

I can understanding Orton-Cena & im expecting Taker-Punk but is the tag match really needed inside a cell aswell? two matches for the main title is fair enough but having the tag in there is overkill.

i fell asleep just reading the card

Since they skipped over the "Scramble Match" PPV that looked like it was going to be Unforgiven, they should make the Smackdown Main Event be a Scramble in a Cage match Punk vs. Taker vs. Batista vs. Ziggler vs. Morrison.

This will let Punk sneak out with the title, despite having Taker pin him. It would allow Ziggler and Morrison to get to both hang with the big boys and intensify their rivalry, and it could lead to Batista turning Heel on Taker. What's not to like?

Rehash in a Cell live on PPV. 4 easy payment of $49.95. Call your local cable provider or satellite company.

Anyone that buys this is a complete sucker.

All the people who cry "rehash" need to look at 70's and 80's wrasslin and understand this IS THE WAY IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN. It's called a program.

I am looking forward to this PPV, and I think the new themed-PPV's are a great idea. The execution is good, too, limited the gimmick to the main events only.

But I know ... it's not "cool" to compliment WWE on the internet.

Cena vs Orton AGAIN?!?!? For christ sake WWE, give us something different!! How many times is that now?! That must be at least 10 PPV main event matches in 3 years between them two (or it at least feels like it).

No it hasn't you idiot .. in the 70's and early 80's, wrestler moved around territories so main events were always pretty fresh.

Also, there wasn't as much television programming as their is now ... you NEED fresh scenario's when you're putting out 4 hours of live programming every week. This aint 1986 with the occassional Saturday Night's Main event and squash-match filled All American Wrestling.

"WWE: LOCKDOWN"... wait isn't this gimmick infringement? Get me Vince Russo on the phone!!

Why the heck don't they get creative. Why not make one of the matches a wargames match, (dx and cena along with someone else, vs legacy and someone else). something this is getting old. Can we please see orton feud with someone other than hhh, batista or cena. He's spent the entire year feuding with those 3.

Posted By: nick (Guest)  on September 15, 2009 at 05:34 PM

FFS - can the WWE actually book a PPV that isn't a re-hash of the past few PPV's with gimmick matches. I swear that the WWE has been sneakily using Vince Russo.
