Jeff Hardy Heads To Court Later This Month, Full List Of Charges
Posted by Larry Csonka on 09.15.2009
The latest on Hardy’s legal situation…
- Jeff Hardy will head to court on Wednesday, September 30th, and will face the following charges:
* Felony possession of cocaine
* Felony drug trafficking of opium
* (Two Counts) Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug
* Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution
* Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
- The drug trafficking charge comes from the weight of the pills that Hardy had in his home at the time of the bust. If Hardy is able to provide a legal prescription for the painkillers (some or all), the weight would be reduced, and then the trafficking charges could be dropped.
- While Hardy promised a statement through his TWITTER last week, he still has not issued that statement.
Wow, that's like over 20 years... I am a fan of The Hardys but this really is pathetic. I hope that whatever happens brings the best results.

If I were Hardy, I'd find a good lawyer and a strong chastity belt.

Oh boy, this should be interesting

My lawyer is free as of this afternoon....should I send him over?
Posted By: Kurt Angle (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 02:27 PM
Man, what a downfall.
With all of them felony charges, that's going to be GUARANTEED prison time. This idiot who so many young children look up to and admire, just threw his life and career away. Sad case....
Posted By: oldschool (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 02:29 PM
at the end of the day this is another druggie that was talented enough to be a millionaire but would rather just get high.
Posted By: Jason (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 02:30 PM
"maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution" is a bs charge they can add on to anybody caught with drugs in their own home. I am *NOT* defending Hardy, I am just pointing out that our drug laws are sneaky like this, and the government has all the means in the world to throw the book at you unjustly if they choose.
Again, not supporting Hardy per se, but this same charge could be filed against somebody just for having an ounce of marijuana in their home.

Opium? What? Is it 1895?

Jeff your an idiot. Im a huge Hardy mark and I still hope he goes to prison, might clean it up some.
Posted By: Ojj (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 02:47 PM
Ya know, while everyone is wondering about Jeff's future, there's still one thing NO ONE is addressing - Who was the fuckin' rat who tipped off the cops!?!?!
No one is interested in that? That' the real story here.

"Opium? What? Is it 1895?" - A. Shakoor
Vicodin is a brand name, so they're not going to list the charge as "trafficking of Vicodin".
Hydrocodone (main ingredient in Vicodin) is an opiate. Therefore the charge is "trafficking opiates".

YOU all suck.
Give the junkie the same rights and respect that others in the legal system are given.
Innocent until proven guilty.
Everyone is sitting here throwing stones at a glass building.
You do not know the backend details and only know what has been "reported".
Give the man his due in court and when the time comes and he does plead guilty or is found guilty THEN you have a legit right to crap on his name.

Hear that Jeff? "Your" an idiot says the man with bad grammar! Ha ha.
Jeff is a dumbass and I won't deny that... However I hope to see him beat this and get back to the ring and cutting horrendous yet entertaining promos!

Good question, is it possible they just watched Smackdown and figured it would be an easy bust? I mean it would be like busting Cheech & Chong after watching Up In Smoke

See? You should have listened to me, and adopted the straight-edge life. Now, the only thing that will be straight in your life is Bubba's boner!
Posted By: CM Punk (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 03:15 PM
Dear Dyno,
Please go kill yourself. If you think he deserves the same respect of innocent until proven guilty maybe you should recall the SEVERAL wellness violations as well as his departure from the attitude era due to an addiction problem. Once again please go kill yourself.

Jeff screw his life big time.
Posted By: Juest (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 03:25 PM
I guess Hardy better pray that he's able to provide that legal prescription for 50% of those painkillers

Except that authorities have to go off of ACTUAL witness testimony or their own evidence to support a search warrant
Posted By: Erik (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 03:55 PM
Maybe one of the people he was dealing to (allegedly) got ticked off about pricing.
More likely it was someone who was trying to get him some help and didn't know how to do it.

I posted this elsewhere, but I bet he will not do a day in prison. I love how you all forget that people who are rich and/or famous do not get in trouble for the same things you or I would.
It may be his celebrity that is getting him persecuted, but it will also be his celebrity that gets him off. Don't defend him. Any of us would be in prison no questions asked, and none of our employers would give us 1,568 chances.
Posted By: Guest#0506 (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 04:28 PM
Dyno, innocent until proven guilty??
Most, myself included are calling him a junkie...which he clearly fucking is considering the sheer amount of drugs found in his home, the previous wellness violations.
I don't believe he's a dealer at all, I just think he's a seriously fucked up druggie.
Posted By: dennett316 (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 04:35 PM
I just wonder who tipped off the cops since the stated they were acting on a tip they received
Posted By: TheOne (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 04:39 PM
Obviously this was all set up by Matt Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee1uuhhhhh and his MFers.. the fire, the dog, the rung rat pic, the drugs....the Scar Will Be The Symbol!!! although the last time they did a drug framing angle Dino Bravo got boned... so maybe not the best of ideas
Posted By: Schilltron30303 (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 04:43 PM
I think the person who tipped the cops off...is the other person who lives with him his fiancee Beth...how did she walk away from all of this without being charged...I smell a rat...as for Jeff I hope he does some time maybe then he'll get cleaned up, hopefully.
Posted By: sue (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 04:44 PM
Your honor I would like the charge of trafficing dropped. I'm currently on a very long vacation and I planned on taking all of those pills.-Jeff hardy
Posted By: condrab (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 04:51 PM
Any possiblility that he may have threw grammer out the window, because he's sending this comment in from a phone Doakes?
the rat is matt hardy...please, you don't really think he'd try to kill his brother one month and then 3 months later decide he's cool with him.
Posted By: the dude (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 04:51 PM
This is the greatest news of all time- lock this freak up and throw away the key. If kids are looking up to this druggie they have no future.
Posted By: Ultra Gepetto (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 04:56 PM
Pathetic. I'd really hoped hardy was past this. I guess the idiot never learns. Disgusting

Wrestling Celebs dont carry the same weight as other sports celebs. With all the dead wrestlers, and the amount of pills, hes going to be made an example of. I think his "celebrity" is gonna get him fried.

Good job WWE, after Hardy serves his five year sentence he will be offered a three year contract by McSleazy.
In other news Kurt Angle's charged turned out to be fraudulent and dropped because Rhaka Khan is insane.
Posted By: Mr. Roo (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 06:31 PM
Hmmmmmmmmm. He leaves WWE what 2 weeks before this... Coincedence, I think not. I think he knew this was going to happen, this way if he gets cleared by some miracle he can go back and have his job, cause if he was caught while under contract, he would be fired. We all know that.
Posted By: Lucid (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 06:51 PM
Jeff was too busy snorting coke to issue a statement on his Twitter.
Ok, all joking aside, it's almost alarming to read how everyone's mocking this guy's problems and seeingly delighting in another man's downfall.
I myself have been through the hell of drug addiction and trust me, it's nothin' fun. Jeff cold get cleared of these charges but he needs to deal with his demons and get his life straight.
I really hope the guy gets better. It's been said don't give a use too many chances and too much trust because they'll let you down. That may be true, but the fact is we are watching someone sucumb to their own worst internal enemies. Instead of kicking the guy while he's down, how about having some common human decency and taking this issue seriously?
Posted By: lilwayne1 (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 07:24 PM
I am still wandering why his wife was not charged....They found the "Drugs" in the dwelling place of both Jeff and his wife....Seems to fishing....and I have never seen a court case come this quick.....something is not right.....Where is the national media coverage, all the coverage has been wrestling related sites...still think this is a hoax and part of his reality show basis
Posted By: Untamedspirit (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 08:16 PM
Let the Hardy party begin!!!

Speaking of WWE's wellness policy; after looking at Batista, John Cena, Triple H & Randy Orton can anyone honestly claim they're legitimately passing their random drug testing?
Posted By: Mr. Roo (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 08:35 PM
Donte Stallworth got away with killing a man while driving drunk. So why can't Jeff get of with a few years probation. Celebrity status+Money+a good lawyer = Little to no jail time.
Posted By: The Great Smartass (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 09:07 PM
who's jeff hardy?...oh yeah i remember him, he jumped off things...oh well he never could wrestle anyway
Posted By: b (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 09:26 PM
"While Hardy promised a statement through his TWITTER last week, he still has not issued that statement."
Probably because he has a good lawyer. The last thing a celebrity, or anyone for that matter should do in this instance would be to get on the internet making 'statements' about the case. It doesn't mean he's guilty or hiding, but instead he's playing it smart.
Furthermore, does he really need to justify himself or his case to a bunch of pimple faced, fat ugly smarks on the internet? Especially when you guys bash him and presume shit about his life, knowing little or nothing about life in general? I'd say no. So STFU and do something productive with your time.

BTW nerds, the CM Punk "I told you so" comments stopped being funny after about the fifth time they were made. Your poor attempts at being witty and clever are yet another indicator why you have few friends, no girlfriend, and spend your weekends playing Xbox while masturbating over pics of Mickie James.
Posted By: CM Punk says STFU (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 09:40 PM
He's going to be wrestling inside a real steel cage pretty soon. Hell in a Real Jail Cell.
Posted By: Wii60 (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 09:51 PM
Personally, I hope he beats these charges and I too want to know who told the cops he had all this in his house in the first place? If he's found not guilty then this all blows over. No one knows the truth about any of this, so he's innocent.
Posted By: Brian (Guest) on September 15, 2009 at 09:53 PM
I really hope Jeff Hardy does not go to prison. I am Jeff's #1 fan, we need to keep praying for Jeff and for his great return to WWE.

I pray that
Posted By: GODS SON TAL (Guest) on September 18, 2009 at 02:18 AM
I pray that Jeff Hardy is able to provide proof o a prescription. Isn't it really ironic that his prescription pill use became an issue in his story line and then all of a sudden, he "had to leave the WWE" IMMEDIATELY BEFORE his arrest? It is almost as if he knew something was going to happen....I still pray the best comes out of this for not only Jeff Hardy, but also for his colleagues in the WWE and his many fans. And I hope he didn't do what he is accused of. I still do not like the character C.M. Punk has been given the task of portraying, but it is part of his job....I am sure the person behind C.M. Punk's WWE character must hate what has happened to Jeff Hardy in real life, considering he just happened to be right in his predictions of him....ironic isn't it???
Posted By: God's son Tal (Guest) on September 18, 2009 at 02:28 AM
And I would like to know, Just what did tip off the cops to him in the first place.....or who???? I agree with Madcap as well, by the way...
Posted By: God's son Tal (Guest) on September 18, 2009 at 02:37 AM
I have been thinking about this alot. It is very disturbing. I know that Jeff lost that Cage match to leave WWE (in storyline) because he was actually injured with herniated discs and a neck injury, and RLS. Putting two and two together, anabolic steroids and Opiate pain killers are often prescribed for back and neck injuries. Opiates get rather addicting, and if you are getting vicodin (which contains a relatively small amount of the narcotic) you develop a tolerance and it is quite possible to take 40-80 in a day. Soma is a muscle relaxer, and as such does not sell for much on the black market I couldnt see Hardy needing money THAT BAD. This is what I think happened, and again my own idea and it could be 1000% wrong:
Jeff gets injured, leaves wwe due to medical issues (note that it wasnt for a wellness violation which is very strict nowadays) Stays home to recover, and gets prescribed Vicodin and Soma and whatever steroids was in his possession. Hardy gets addicted and can not get his doctor to write more scrips for the pain killer. Hardy goes "Doctor Shopping" at local Pain Management Clinics and gets a number of scrips for the Vicodin (he coulda probably got Oxycontin which is way more expensive if he asked for it) and soma. Went home, someone tipped off the cops that he had drugs in his house and he was selling meds (which could be an assumption of someone who found out about the doctor shopping)
Remember, things that seem too simple usually turn out to be complex. The media has a non-judging approach that appears to vaguely cast opinion. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. Jeff my prayers go out to you and your family. I appreciate the amount of passion you had for your fans and your work and I hope everything turns out positive. I am rooting for you buddy!

bobby, britney, nicole, chris b, lindsay, and paris did either drugs, alcohol, had fights, driving the wrong way at "high"speeds, ignoring or endangering kids, some signed into re-hab to sign out the next day etc..so give jeff a break INNOCENT until proven guilty, rehab and alot of community service hours
Posted By: go4t (Guest) on September 26, 2009 at 10:34 PM
I love Jeff Hardy. Most celebrities get community service, do a free concert or two, pay a fine and get 5yrs. probation spend a day or two in rehab...a well known name political guy was sleep walkin and drove his car into a bldg. Thanks to sleeping pills...female actresses, heiress, and singers drink & drive, they snort coke, give a free concert, or stay in jail a week or a few hours, even tv show host that supposedly lied to a grand jury got out in a year. Jeff I'm praying for you & your friends & family. You're a triple "F"meaning a fan favorite forever.Thank you for entertaining me with your all.

The things people say.... The media is the media & they love to steam up a good story. There's definately more to this story than what reporters say. Not all of it adds up & makes sense. Let the man take care of bz. It's always innocent til proven guilty. As for those saying jail & all that junk. Don't jump to conclusions the trial & sentencing haven't come about. & for the one stating a filthy comment about jail & jeff meeting Bubba the boner! Get real, Jeff is a pro wrestler & that will make a diffence if jail his fate. It will be more like if dirty Bubba tries anything he'll be looking for a paramedic in a quick & a huury!Jeff won't be going to jail. As for the dirty rotten scoundrel who tipped of the police.. What a cheap shot! What goes around comes around!
