The full roster for WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 has been announced and is below. 47 wrestlers were announced, though one would assume that the game will have other unlockable characters or downloadable wrestlers.
Notable wrestlers who AREN'T in the game include Zack Ryder, Paul Burchill, Katie Lea Burchill, Jimmy Yang, Hurricane Helms, Jillian Hall, Alicia Fox, Chris Masters, Jamie Noble, Rosa Mendes, Charlie Haas, Curt Hawkins, David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd, Layla, Funaki, DJ Gabriel, Abraham Washington, Courtney Taylor, Sheamus, Tiffany, Tyler Reks and Yoshi Tatsu.

sweet jack swaggers on the roster. thats all i wanted to know. i'll probably continue enjoying fire pro until i hear some positive reviews about this game. the lack of creativity in last 2 have left me severely jaded as a svr fan.

I'm guessing unlockables, IGN.com stated that THQ announced over 60 wrestlers this year. I know SCSA is a special from gamestop... dont know how that worked or is going to work. I'm sure there is a code and it will be posted within minutes of the release. However, if no unlockables(not counting older versions of wrestlers) this game will bomb like last year, same shit different year, hahaha I have gamefly so I dont have to buy it

Well, we can already see that a couple folks in this list haven't been around for a while.
It's annoying but slightly understandable how that tends to happen often. I bet that in the game they probably have Edge as the World Champ.

You can make that yourself in the game this year in Story Mode!!! I'm gonna create at stable called "High St." consisting of Jeff Hardy and THE Brian Kendrick. High St. will control ALL brands with their simultainuous reigns as WWE and World Heavyweight Champions!!

Damn, I was really looking forward to Kung Fu Naki. He has one of the best HD trons. Although I heard the HD trons still aren't in this game either.

The usual outdated roster. Like it's really that hard to change those things at the last minute. But you know what is most annoying, the damn Bella twins get in there over the Burchills! I'm asuming someone just forgot to list Taker & HHH or else the game makers must have been on crack.

I get the feeling our first dose of DLC will be the Hart Dynasty, Vladimir Kozlov, Zack Ryder, and Yoshi Tatsu. Maybe the latter three could come in an "ECW Pack" or something. Tatsu was already confirmed as DLC at some point.

I can understand alot of the new ECW guys not being there, but not having Burchill and ESPECIALLY not having the Hart Dynasty is a big oversight.

While I'd like to see Reks, Tatsu, Birchill, and a few others in the game, there is NO excuse for Kidd, Smith, and Noble not being in, as all three of them have been getting some semblence of a push for some time now..

Why were you people expecting Zach Ryder to be in the game. You all know that in years past if a wrestler hasnt debuted or done anything worth a shit before may-june they arent in the game. Also Niki Bella is in the game and not Bre? another typo

Since when is half a year the same as 2 weeks? JBL hasn't done anything since his retirement in March.

There's a difference between realistic expectations and unrealistic ones. What's so unrealistic about wanting Zach Ryder or Burchill? They've been in the 'E long enough.
Plus, why can't they just reuse models of Jillian, Layla and Jimmy Wang Yang? They already reuse half the existing superstars' models. Ryder and Hawkins just need a slight texture tweak.
I'm not too disappointed about anyone not making it in (apart from Burchill), but that's what microtransactions are for. Most of the important folk are in the game, and even if you have the compulsion to make a 100% up to date roster, there's still plenty of room for other created wrestlers.

For YEARS the cut off date (while not confirmed) has been between Wrestle Mania and May at the latest. No one gives a shit about Burchill and Zack Ryder didnt debut with his WOO WOO WOO gimmick until late may june so no

Unless this news item has been updated since it was originally posted, some of you must be blind. Undertaker is clearly listed, as is HHH and Regal.
No confirmation on legends yet, but the names that have been thrown out there are Stone Cold, Rock, and Trish. There is supposed to be some sort of catch though. If you buy from one place, like Gamestop, you get Austin. If you buy from another place, you get Rock instead. So they are making people choose which of the "big two" they would rather have. I'll take Rock, but there better be a way to get both.
I also heard they recorded some chants for a wrestler named "Macho", but let's not get too excited. It's probaly just a nickname for the CAW feature.
