TNA News: New Agents, Update On Jim Cornette’s Departure, More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 09.18.2009

- While the UK Sun had reported that Jim Cornette's departure from TNA was due to a backstage blow up with Vince Russo over the push of Eric Young, that is not the case. The conversation was viewed as not a big deal, and a source within the company stated that the departure was amicable. Also, there was talk of Cornette returning to the company to work with the younger talent after "his break". The UK Sun has issued an apology and correction to the original story. - D'Lo Brown and Pat "Simon Diamond" Kenney have been re-hired by TNA as agents. [Credit: Prowrestling.net]

- Brother Ray and Taz have been giving their feedback to TNA President Dixie Carter, at her request. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]

- The Baltimore Sun has a Q&A up with Shane Douglas, discussing his autobiography, what TNA needs to do to make it to #1, WWE's ECW, and more. You can check out that article here.

Couldn't be happier for D-lo and Simon. They are great to listen to on between the ropes every week

Even if the Eric Young thing wasn't a big deal, fuck EY. He looks like a midget, his voice is more annoying than Vickie Guerrero's, his head is shaped like a prepubescent 9 year old who's body hasn't caught up yet and he has the face of a 45 year old. Give the mouthpiece/leader role to Magnus or bring back Dutt and give it to him.

I'm sure a lot of people won't care about this... but does this mean D Lo won't be working for ROH? I've been enjoying his matches. It'd be sad to see him go so soon

D Lo announced his retirement on the last episode of Between The Ropes. He's finishing up his ROH dates and then thats it

I agree I do not think that young fits this new role.

I don't get the hate, I think EY's new role is perfect.

I hope this doesn't mean he has finished his BTR run.
