Sound a lot like The Wrestler to anybody else? Let's all just hope this never happens.

Say what you want about Hogan...
THAT'S how you cut a WRESTLING promo
Posted By: Guest#4217 (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 10:17 AM
Oh boy... why do I feel like I heard this 15 years ago...
All well, I still mark out for Hogan and Flair so lets do it!
Posted By: AG Awesome (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 10:21 AM
Dear Hulk.
Go away forever....brother.
Say your prayers, and take your vitamins along with your worn out act and step aside for good.

Posted By: turbo_fattie (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 10:52 AM
I just watched the last 5 seconds of that promo like 20 times and it just keeps getting funnier. Why is Hulk doing the motor boat?
This is gonna be an awesome tour and I hope they make a DVD of it because I do not live in Australia.

Isn't this from Halloween Havoc 94?
Wow some things never change
Posted By: Ryan (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 11:34 AM
Hogan-Flair Uncensored 1999, one of the worst wrestling matches of all time, now there 10 years older, just how terrible will these matches be? At least Hogan can still cut a promo, I'll give him that.
Posted By: Guest#6577 (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 11:34 AM
Why is this not headlining wrestlemania?
I bet Gorilla Monsoon, is just waiting to call out ivan koloff
Posted By: Mystic Typer (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 11:48 AM
"Self-porclaimed." Nice one, Hulkster.
Posted By: Talon (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 11:50 AM
Hogan still cuts a better promo than 99% of the WWE.
Posted By: iomis (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 12:09 PM
Self-Porklamed? Your best pair of wrestling brutes?
Eh, still better than 90 percent of today's guys...
Where did two of Flair's title reigns go?

Posted By: sizzle (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 12:35 PM
Not even going to go pass :10 watching this. 14 TIME CHAMP, REALLY HULK ?!?
Posted By: Yosu (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 12:37 PM
I guess I'll have to go back to Australia and beat Hogan down again, cause each time he gets into the ring with Ric Flair, he bows out. Well Hogan, when I get my hands on you this time, Hulkamania will be dead, cause I am the MAN!!!! And I am the ruler......of the world.
Posted By: Sid Vicious (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 12:40 PM
I am glad the rest of the world is catching on to what I thought 15 yrs ago- Hulk`s act is so played out and boring... Same promo and match every time.
Posted By: FUZEY (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 12:42 PM
"Self "Porclaimed"? Oh yea?" There's a h in yeah smartass.
Top notch promo by the Hulkster. That's how you cut a promo "Dick Flair".
Posted By: Propagandhi (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 12:55 PM
15 years on and Flair is still jobbing to Hogan.
I love Hogan's Hulkamania promo's they are hilarious, total 'Warrior like' insanity.
Posted By: Andrew Barbarash (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 12:57 PM
Funny he mentions pocket change, considering the only reason he actually did this is for his ego and all the money he thinks it deserves. He is also telling the truth about needing a home because he doesn't know the difference between keeping a dog a leash and giving a puppy a bone. All you jet flyin, limo ridin players out there know what I'm sayin.. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Posted By: Ric Flair (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 01:09 PM
Funny how Hogan hasn't won a world title in 7 years, but his number of reigns keeps going up. Just like Andre's weight. I think the official number is 12, brother. Who cares about number of title reigns anyway. Flair can't even afford to keep his belts anymore, so what's the big deal.
As bad as the match will be, it should be more entertaining than most of WWE's snooze fests are now. I also take some strange enjoyment out of the fact that Flair will still be Hogan's bitch, all these years later. I think Flair's version of purgatory will be lying on his back for all eternity and jobbing to the leg drop.

why don't they tour north america?
Posted By: tones (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 10:16 AM
Because NOBODY would go!!!
Only Australians that are hard up for some actual live "wrestling" (if you can call it that) want to see this crap!
Posted By: Stay in Australia!!!! (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 02:04 PM
I hope the Ultimate Warrior is flying the plane and it wrecks and Hogan gets LOST on some deserted island near Australia and NEVER COMES BACK!!!!!
Posted By: Australia can KEEP Hogan!!!! (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 02:09 PM
I just took a nap. Did I go BACK in time 20 years to 1989 or something?
Posted By: Citizen Payne (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 03:04 PM
I'd go watch...I like or liked most of the wrestlers on the tour....Bring the tour to Canada...i rather watch this live then watch Raw. Be more entertaining.
Posted By: tones (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 03:36 PM
1995 WCW called, they're looking for their promo...
Posted By: Guest#2159 (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 03:46 PM
I just watched the last 5 seconds of that promo like 20 times and it just keeps getting funnier. Why is Hulk doing the motor boat?

I suspect it was meant to be a pantomime of hogan starting a motorcycle and backing up, however, regardless of what it was supposed to be, I did a spit take and was like 'what the hell? lol'

Posted By: Guest#5067 (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 07:13 PM
Hogan can still cut a promo, I will give him that (the line about the house was awesome-o)
Posted By: Jay (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 07:37 PM
Hafta watch that match in Fast Forward for it to resemble a wrestling match lol
Posted By: Eurick Hunt (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 07:50 PM
You better bring your mortgage because I need a new house.
LMAO...............that was HILARIOUS.

Hey Hogan, Jesse Ventura still wants his boa back, brother...
Posted By: JC in AZ (Guest) on October 07, 2009 at 09:29 PM
I'm sure there are Hogan and Flair fans that will enjoy this just for what it is (or what they were). And yes, both of them have done a lot for the business in terms of helping build it to where it is today.
But, (oh, come on, you knew a "but" was coming), there's little to nothing "behind" this. Just to well known guys (past their prime) going back for more. There's no "fire" in it at ALL. Sure, Hogan hit all of his marks in the promo...and not much else. Seriously, go back and look at some of Hogan's old promos and then watch this one. Side by side, "this" Hogan does not match up to the old Hogan (promo-wise).
And, honestly, that "all my Hulkamaniacs" line...seriously? Sure, anyone who's a fan could count as one I guess. Again, it just has too much of that been there done it feel to it.
Put something "real" into it...call out the fact that Flair is coming out of "so called retirement" (stated just like that). Pocket change is cute, but more for Hogan's ego boost than for promo heat of any real type. Throw in some of those (even if bad) "down under" puns. Do SOMETHING actually creative in the promo that would draw people (or some interest) in a match between HOGAN and FLAIR. The one to end it all, or some sh*t like that. Oh wait, I'm sorry, I forgot I was talking about Hogan...the one trick pony. Ooops, my bad, he did go "Hollywood" in WCW, guess that makes him a two trick pony. I must have mistook him for the other geezer that will be in the ring with him. (haha, it's a joke guys, chill...lol).

When's the Hulkster gonna challenge me??? I'm up for a one time comeback!!!! R.V.D. vs Hulkamania. It's got a good ring to it!!!
