1. The WWE should have pulled this back given the charges that Jeff is facing.
2. The WWE should release as soon as possible. If Jeff faces any serious jail time - his marketability disappears almost entirely.
I have said for the past year plus that the WWE was pushing Jeff Hardy because they knew he was a ticking time bomb and they needed to make as much money off him as possible before the bomb exploded. And credit to the WWE - they did exactly that. He was (is?) at the top of their merchandise sales and the WWE, as a publically traded company, owes it to their shareholders to make as much money as possible. So push him - give him titles - release a DVD - and then move on.
The sales for this DVD - if it was pushed to after he is convicted - would be half of what they will get by releasing this now.

Aug. 25th...a day that will go down in infamy!
My God...I knew storylines progressed faster these days, but all of that happened on one day?

Im not exactly a big Jeff fan but the match listing is excellent, disc 3 alone has many good matches.
Posted By: jbardo (Guest) on October 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM
So it's mostly matches from the last two years? Ech, gonna pass on that then, I've seen it all already.

No room for the awesome Ladder Match where Joey Mercury ruined his face?
Lots of filler material here but still some really solid stuff.
His work from 2006 onwards has been pretty awesome despite the haters.

They should have put in that Ladder match against Undertaker for the World Title from a couple years back.

I thought this had been shelved?
Looks like a good DVD, some other matches I would have liked to see on there, but no DVD is 100% perfect.

Fucking excellent match list. I'm not sure I could sit through nothing but Jeff Hardy for hours, but you could say the same thing about the Ladder Match DVD and that's great too.

What is this match?
Jeff Hardy vs. John Morrison
SmackDown! July 4, 2009
Is that the one on July 31, 2009 when Morrison had a chance to win the title?
Shouldn't that be on Morrison's DVD? Or will it still be? (Isn't there a rule that a match will only appear on one DVD, even if it applies to several, like Edge and ladder matches or something?)
Posted By: Question (Guest) on October 20, 2009 at 12:19 PM
i would of added ladder match with taker back in 02

No it doesn't. All of the matches on disc 3 feature matches where Jeff Hardy is listed as one of the competitors thus making the match automatically not good.

Damn, they missing that Hardy vs Undertaker Ladder match in Raw from YEARS ago. That match was incredible. Made me believe Jeff could really stand on his own.
Posted By: DCFlash (Guest) on October 20, 2009 at 12:40 PM
they should replace the match he had with matt at vengence (shit defined) with his cage match against umaga on raw. other than that this is worth the money for the matches alone.
Posted By: james T. (Guest) on October 20, 2009 at 12:53 PM
I bet there's an easter egg of Matt going "Seriously!? He's got like three moves.... I should have stayed heel. I wonder if Chavo needs a tag team partner. I'm going to RoH.... for five minutes."

the titles a bit inappropriate don't you think?
looks a good set, i wish it'd focus more on some of jeff's matches this year (w/morrison, edge, jericho)

What a clenched, runny butthole you are. I know you're a constantly miserable person, but could you please not spread that attitude to the rest of us? Thanks.

I'm gonna get this right after I get the Kane DVD.

So then not at all?
Posted By: Phil (Guest) on October 20, 2009 at 02:46 PM
Cool but I wanted it to have his other hardcore match with rvd from Invasion and his first IC title win vs HHH and his 2nd IC title win with Umaga.

Awww... aren't you just adorable? I love guys that spout cliches like you. It's utterly cute how you guys like to run around with your e-psychology degree and diagnose anyone who disagrees with you. You're so tough. Grrrrr!

Wait, so Disc 1 all takes place on 1 day???
Posted By: Guest#2434 (Guest) on October 20, 2009 at 03:18 PM
dates are a bit messed up at disc 3
Posted By: Guest#6593 (Guest) on October 20, 2009 at 07:20 PM
i glanced at the tagline for this article and i thought i saw 'Jeff Hardy: My Life in Ruins'
Posted By: Guest#0504 (Guest) on October 20, 2009 at 10:46 PM
Just to add SOME clarification to the questions on the dates on disc 1, this was Jeff's last day with WWE (the night his loser leaves town cage match with Punk was taped) and I can only assume this is some sort of 'diary of events' of that day, cut in between the chapters of the doco. (That's my take on it anyway) Anyone else heard any different?
