Name Change To John Cena’s Next WWE Studios Film

Find out inside…
According to Pwinsider.com, John Cena's next WWE Studios film, which was to be named Oxley's Road, has been changed to Brother's Keeper. Cena will play Cal Oxley, the youngest son of a wrestling family who decides to join his High School's wrestling team. He does this against his mother's wishes in an effort to get her and his oldest brother to reconnect as they have been estranged for a decade following a car accident where Cal's father died. They are casting for a 15-year old to play "young Cal", and it appears as if the younger Cal will be the center of the film, while Cena will have a smaller role as older Cal. Patricia Clarkson (Six Feet Under) will play the mother, Sharon. The film will have a $10 million budget, and will be a straight to DVD project.
WWE should try to get Cena in real Hollywood movies instead of their own if they want to make him a star like the Rock.

Riveting plot line.

$10 mill is nothing in movie terms these days, but straight-to-DVD release seems a bit cheap seeing as how this is Cena.

Funny how this interesting film gets the DVD treatment yet The Marine and See No Evil got a theatrical release.

Patricia Clarkson is an amazing actress. I doubt this rub up off on Cena, but could help the movie. And it looks like this one will do without explosions! Gasp!

I look forward to not seeing it.

No way does John Cena remotely look like a high school kid. They're gonna have to have a supporting cast of the entire ECW and FCW rosters to make that look real.
And I doubt WWE wants John Cena to run off to Hollywood like the Rock did, so they're probably better off milking him dry to the WWE Universe: movies, albums, t-shirts, hats, etc. all with the WWE stamp on them.

They should've casted Evan Bourne...he looks like a 10th Grader, no offense. And they could've easily pushed him to kids and it would've helped him get over. Sunnuvabitch...I'm not gonna rant, i'm not gonna rant, i'm not gonna rant...

Hey, dumbasses, it said the YOUNGER version of Cena's character will be the center of the film, NOT Cena himself, which could probably be a reason it's straight to dvd with that budget

Hmmm....incestuous movie judging by the new title. Five Knuckle Shuffle and You WON'T SEE ME!
THE CRAMPS ARE HERE!

Since rasslin's involved, it should be "Brotha's Keeper, brotha."

Given the way WWE names things lately I'm surprised they didn't name it "Emotional High School Wrestler Movie."

Why don't they just be honest and call it "Crappy Film"?

Do you slobbering idiots even READ the articles BEFORE you start bitching??
Quoting:
"They are casting for a 15-year old to play "young Cal", and it appears as if the younger Cal will be the center of the film, while Cena will have a smaller role as older Cal."
Now, out your drool cups down and READ this:
They are casting a 15 YEAR OLD to play the 10th grader AND JOHN CENNA will play the 10th grader WHEN HE GETS OLDER!!
Next time try to READ the article!
I know it's hard with all those BIG words but if you take your time, I'm sure you can do it.
