Various News: NASCAR and WWE, Old Hardy Boys Music Still Being Used, Dutch Mantell Speaks On Russo and Cornette, More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 10.24.2009

- Commercials for the November 16th Raw are advertising a dark match main event of DX and John Cena vs. Randy Orton and Legacy. If John Cena happens to lose tomorrow, expect him to appear still, as a previously contracted appearance. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]

- The old Hardy Boys theme music is currently being used in the Wendy's "Kick for a Million" promotion. The promotion is where the winner gets a chance to kick increasingly long field goals at halftime of a Canadian Football League game, with the chance to make $1million for a 50 yard field goal. - On November 17th at the The Texas Motor Speedway, #18 Kyle Busch will drive a Smackdown vs. Raw 2010/Z-Line Designs Toyota while #20 Joey Logano will drive a Smackdown vs. Raw 2010/Gamestop Toyota. Both men co-host Raw this week. Busch's car will have Randy Orton, John Cena and another wrestler on the hood, while Logano will feature CM Punk, The Undertaker and another wrestler. - Dutch Mantell has a new blog entry up, discussing the birth of The Rock and Roll Express, his book, the real life heat between Jim Cornette and Vince Russo, a true story of the Undertaker and him being pulled over by Highway Patrolmen at gunpoint and more. You can read the full blog entry here.

The old Hardy's theme is still getting used probably because it's stock music. I've heard Hardcore Holly's old theme used elsewhere.

Jim Cornette is too emotional.

Because it's generic stock music?

Harlem Heat and Hardy boys music is stock music and has been in everything from CSI episodes to Jazzercise tapes.

So is "Adrenaline Rush" Tna's old outro theme song.

Dutch's blogs rule.
i like that he's pretty much straight ahead and if he embellishes. he will make sure you know he's joking/ribbing himself. i like that. ... haven't read this newest entry yet but i like the ones i have read so far.

We're heading for a time limit draw people.

Then, to FINALLY end the feud, Cena will challenge Orton to ONE LAST MATCH, this time in the GREATEST MATCH EVER where NO-ONE WILL BE THE SAME AGAIN after - the Buried Alive match.

Then, the following night on RAW after Cena has won the title, Bob Orton will come out with a bunch of Christians and refuse to let the comatose Randy die, issuing a challenge for his kid, once recuperated, for ONE LAST MATCH, that will be THE MATCH TO END ALL MATCHES, where the competitors will NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN - the Inferno match...

...and so on and so on until next August's Punjabi Prison PPV when creative decide to elevate someone else into the main-event scene. HHH or someone...

Hardcore Hollys old theme i remember being on porn years ago

I think there may have been a spoiler in here, "Busch's will have Cena and Orton on his car, and Logano will have CM Punk, Undertaker, and another wrestler." Either Cena will more than likely win the match this sunday, or CM Punk, Undertaker, and that other wrestler are being traded to RAW in the near future. The reason I put this becasue one cart will have RAW while the other one will have SmackDown on the other.

Expecting the hate, huh. Hate to break it to you, frank, but I get the impression that you are the kind of person that no one gives enough of a damn of your opinion to hate or not.
I guess it would be nice for you to pretend they did though. So, yeah, ok, I am sure the message boards will be overrun with hate on you opinion.
Buddy.

RE:also, spoiler in saying that orton and cena are gonna be on the same car. cena is winning the championship on sunday night.

Not necessarily, Nascar cars are envisioned months before their actual roll-out during a race. Although they are just decals that can be changed in a matter of hours, the concepts come out way before the cars do and don't really reflect wwe booking status I wouldn't think. ALthough everyone now is going to think if cena wins, it was a spoiler

btw as a side comment, driving for gamestop for the nationwide series, joey logano drives the coolest looking cars in the series, all game related....tekken 6, Brutal Legend, Beatles:Rockband, Prototype...all very cool looking cars

"Commercials for the November 16th Raw are advertising a dark match main event of DX and John Cena vs. Randy Orton and Legacy. If John Cena happens to lose tomorrow, expect him to appear still, as a previously contracted appearance."

Sounds pretty obvious that Cena will get the strap back. Are they going to make Cena surpass Ric Flairs' title number?? That should be obvious as well, epic fail.

Yeah, they've used Hardy's and Crash Holly's music. The Dudleyz' old theme as well.

Posted By: lilwayne1 (Guest)  on October 25, 2009 at 11:17 AM

Hardy Boyz old music was public domain, before the Hardy's (WWE) ever used it. A lot of reality cop shows (caught on camera shows) use it during car chases.
