Best choice to open IMO. After Miz's entrance we get the video package for the feud. We get a shot of the teams in the back watching this match. DX are the only guys not wearing the colours of their show.
Who woulda thunk that two Touygh Enough alums would open a PPV in 2009? They work some exchanges with Morrison getting control. He reverses a hip toss into a fireman's carry takedown, then knocks Miz down with a pair of shoulder blocks. They point out that this is the first meeting between the two since the Draft. Miz bails to the floor, then comes back in and gets a kick to the gut and a headlock takedown. Miz gets a shoulder block but then eats a flapjack and a standing shooting star from Morrison! That gets 2. Miz gets control right back and stomps down Morrison in the corner, then throws him to the floor, and poses. Morrison slides between Miz's legs to come back in and gets a sunset flip for 2. They exchange rollups, they work some more counters which ends with Morrison getting a clothesline on Miz to send him up and over to the floor. Morrison over the top onto Miz! Back inside and Morrison gets a 2 count. Whip is reversed, Miz charges and Morrison avoids it to get a headscis...NO! Miz catches him and LAUNCHES him to the floor! Ouch. Back inside and Miz hits a back suplex for 2. Modified surfboard applied by Miz. Morrison is able to break the hold but Miz gets a whip and the corner clothesline. Miz goes to the floor and hits a knee lift to the head of Morrison, which is hanging over the apron. 1...2...no. Chinlock applied by Miz. Morrison fights out of the hold and gets a pait of quick rollups for 2. They exchange kicks and punches and forearms in the middle of the ring, Morrison ducks under one from Miz and sweeps the leg! Flying back elbow by Morrison gets 2. He misses the semi-Shinign Wizard and Miz gets a quick schoolboy for 2, but Morrison comes back with a flurry of mounted punches. Morrison ducks a Miz clothesline...FLYING CHUCK! 1...2...2.880! Morrison sets Miz up for Starship Pain but Miz don't want none and goes to the floor. CORKSCREW PLANCHA by Morrison to the floor! Back inside, Morrison! 1...2...no! Morrison sets Miz on the top, tries a superplex but Miz fights him off and hits a double axe handle from the top. He tries the Skull-Crushing Finale but Morrison fights out and hits a Russian leg sweep! STARSHIP NO!!! Miz counters and crotches Miz! 1...2...3!

Raw vs. Smackdown Divas Match: TEAM RAW - Melina, Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim vs. TEAM SMACKDOWN - Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Natalya
Michelle McCool is seemingly not content with stealing AJ Styles' finisher, she now has his ring attire too. That said, SmackDown should dominate this match on paper.
Gail starts with Beth, she gets some forearms and tries a crossbody but Beth catches her. Gail wriggles and gets a rollup for two, but Beth quickly regains control and tags Michelle. Gail gets a headscissors on Michelle, so McCool tags Natalya. They exchange rollups, Natalya takes control with a scoop slam but misses an elbow. Gail avoids a charge in the corner and gets a 1 count. Tag to Kelly Kelly who gets the Kevin Nash boot choke, the ducks a clothesline and gets a spinning headscissors. Natalya catches a lucha wheelbarrow attempt and drops Kelly neck-first over the top rope, then drives her to the corner for knees. Kelly avoids a charge and tries a sunset flip but Natalya holds the ropes and tags in Michelle. Now it's Michelle's turn to drive Kelly to the corner and tag in Beth. Snap mare by Beth and a neck vise applied. Kelly fights out but is cut off before she can tag. Beth tags Michelle who gets a snap mare and a sleeper. This sounds more like a Serena Williams vs Maria Sharapova with all the grunting. BIG knee lift by McCool, Beth tags herself inand promptly gets hit with a Frankensteiner for 2! Kelly tags in Melina! She Matrixes under a clotheslineand hits a double knee to the back, followed by a horsecollar bulldog. Michelle distracts Melina allowing Beth to hit a slingshot suplex COUNTERED into a small package! BEAUTIFUL move! The ref is distracted again allowing Michelle to reverse the cover! 1...2...no! Melina counters a backbreaker into a facebuster! Another great counter, this is awesome. Beth whips Melina, they work some counters which end with Beth hitting the Implant Buster! 1...2...3!

He goes for it on Rey but Punk cuts him off and crotches him, then sends Rey to the floor. Punk goes up after Taker and hits a superplex!! REY with a splash on Taker! Hje gets 1 before Punk throws him off, then Batista interjects. Clothesline in the corner on Punk and a powerslam, Batista shakes the rope and turns around into a Taker boot! REY off the top! Taker catches him and sets for the Last Ride!! SPEAR by Batista!!! Rey and Batista stare each other down deciding who to pin. GOOZLE to Rey by Taker! Josh Matthews is in the ring with Rey and Batista, where he will doubtless see Batista destroy Rey. Rey thinks they did their best, but he goes over to Batista and says "Good try." It didn't work out for them. Josh asks at what point did the match slip away for them? Rey totally dances around the question. He asks Batista how he's feeling. Dave asks Rey if he thinks they were close. Then he asks the fans the same thing. He says he doesn't think THEY were close, he thinks HE was close. He thinks he's tired of coming this close. He also thinks he's tired of his best friend stabbing him in the back. You think he's playing?
I don't think so. Homey don't play that.
He tells Rey he's going to rip his head off. Then he drops the mic and does just that. Batista beats Rey down and Rey literally begs him to take it easy and says Batista is hurting him. Batista doesn't care and HURLS Rey into the railing. He starts to leave but turns back and hits a running kick to the head, shades of Orton!

We get some interesting stats about the 14-man, like the fact that Raw has 59 combined championships to SmackDown's 58. Then we see an interview with the fans. Totally staged.
DX are out first, and HBK has deigned to wear the Raw shirt around his waist. HHH is too cool for school. Oh sweet, nopt only are DX above wearing the Raw shirts, they also get their own entrance while the others come out to the Raw theme. I just noticed that the Raw guys and SD guys are comig out on opposite sides of the entrance ramp. Jericho and Kane each get individual entrances, but they at least have the shirts on. There's over 3700 pounds of beef in the ring right now. This is the same ring that collapsed uinder a superplex to Big Show from Brock Lesnar.
Cody is going to start with R-Truth. Slugfest off the bat, Truth does his stuff and hits a dropkick for 1. He charges into Cody's elbow, Cody gets a single-leg rolling takedown but Truth escapes. Cody hits the ropes and Show tags himself in. Truth ain't dumb so he tags in Kane. MAY 19TH! Kane hits some rights, avoids a Big Show charge and tries a clothesline but eats Show's shoulder. LEG DROP by Sghow gets 2. Tag to Swagger now, Kane blocks a clothesline and hits an uppercut. Tag by Kane to MATT HARDY. Hardy hits a clothesline for 2. Side Effect countered with some Swagger elbows, Hardy goes nuts with forerarms and catches a charging Swagger with a boot. Leg drop off the second by Hardy gets 2. To the floor and Hardy gets a clothesline on Swagger, Cody comes over to distract Hardy and Swagger uses that to take him to the post. Everyone comes over and we have a stare down. Back inside, Swagger gets a 2 count off a armbar takedown. Tag to Henry and we're going to re-enact the ECW title feud. Headbutt by Henry, he misses the elbow drop but is able to cut off the tag and launch Hardy to the Raw corner. Tag to HBK! They mention that HBK was on the first Raw buyt decline to namedrop Max Moon. HBK drops his head and gets kicked, Hardy tries a Side Effect...connects! Tag to Finlay who comes in blazing. Whip to HBK, he does the HBK corner bump before eating some European forearms. HBK and Finlay collide off a whip. Both men are up, SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Wait, the Hart Dynasty are in! SPRINGBOARD HART ATTACK! Smith gets the cover! 1...2...no! Jericho tags in now and he stalks HBK. He locks in a modified sleeper, HBK breaks the hold and gets a schoolboy for 2 before getting levelled by a clothesline. 2 count for Jericho. Kane tags in and hits a basement dropkick for 2. Tag to DH Smith who clamps on a chinlock. HBK fights back so Smith hits a spinning backdrop driver for 2. Scoop slam by Smith, Kidd springboards in with an elbow but misses! Tag to HHH and it's BURIAL TIME! Smith got the tag and eats a HHH knee. Clothesline! Finlay in and gets a spinebuster on top of Smith! Kidd completes the Irish sandwich as he gets spinebustered! KANE with a chokeslam! THAT'S FOR KATIE VICK, BITCH! Kidd gets the cover! 1...2...NO! Tag to Jericho, BULLDOG! Lionsault misses! Tag to Kofi! Springboard clothesline! More clotheslines! Dropkick! Boom Drop time...COUNTERED! Walls! Kofi gets the package! 1...2...no! TROUBLE IN PARADISE! 1...2...Smith breaks it up! Here comes everyone. Henry levels Smith, gets knocked to the floor, catches a crossbody from Kidd then goes down when Hardy adds his weight. Finlay hits the Finlay Roll on Rhodes! Doctor Bomb to Finlay! Boot to Swagger by Kane! Spear to Kane by Show! Kofi is up top and Show is going to launch...goozle!!! CHOKESLAM BY SHOW ON KOFI! He levels HHH with the KO Punch and walks off! Jericho covers Kofi Kingston! 1...2...3!

Cole says this is their benchmark match, and not many superstars get to compete in one. For most of the roster, I say thank God. Headlock takedown by Cena. Orton backs Cena to the corner and hits a couple of rights, then gets a headlock takedown of his own. Cena backs Orton to the ropes, leaps him a couple of times then hits a hip toss. Whip to Orton, Cena charges and misses. Cena reverses a whip and tries a bulldog but Orton blocks and sends Cena flying. Stomps by Orton now, and some measured rights. Typical Orton offense right now. Out of nowhere Cena locks in the STF and Orton taps as soon as Cena clasps his hands! Smart, avoids getting damaged.

Cena shrugs off the doctor and charges Orton! He pummels him in the corner then throws him over the top! He takes Orton to the steps but Orton reverses a whip and sends Cena HARD into the steps! 1...2...no! I'm trying to remember the last time I saw Cena bleed. Orton rolls Cena back in and measures a punch to the open wound on Cena's skull. Orton measures for the RKO but Cena is having none of it! Shoulder block! Blue Thunder Bomb!!! You can't see him! Attitude Adjustment...RKO!!! BOTH MEN CONNECT! That was frigging AWESOME. Both men drape an arm over the other! 1...2...3?

Cena follows and beats him up the ramp. Orton regains control and gets a 2-count on the floor by the tech area. Orton starts ramming Cena's head into assorted objects, thankfully not iuncluding Big Show's ass. He slams it into the pyro board and pyro goes off on the stage! Greatness. Orton throws Cena into the lighting grid and sparks fly and sparks go off. 1...2...3!

I hope they don't use that pyro in the finish, maybe with Cena lying on it. OH GOD Orton is playing with the board, that's EXACTLY what they're doing. Orton WAFFLES Cena with a chair a couple of times, drags Cena over a pyro hole...the ref and the pyro guy tell him not to do it! He can't get it to work! Orton mashes buttons like your mom playing Mario, and we have a huge explosion!!! It looks like Cena managed to move. Orton is pissed and lays in some shots, then beats Cena back down the ramp. Halfway down he mounts Cena and pounds on him. Back at ringside and Orton whips Cena into the steps. After almost getting blown up, that's gotta feel like a massage from a Thai woman named Lotus Petal. After she's done you can sac her for one mana of any colour. Orton picks up the steel steps and launches them into Cena's head. That's Motrin pain. 1...2...no? What's next, a stun gun? Orton starts stomping on Cena's ribs. Orton gets himself a chair and hits a line drive single to left field on Cena's back. 2 count off that attack. He rolls Cena back in, SMALL PACKAGE!!! 1...2...3!

Orton goes nuts after the pin but the ref enforces the 30-second break. What are you gonna do ref, DQ him? Orton retreats nonetheless and waits for the interval to end. He drags Cena's head out under the bottom rope, and he wants to DDT him to the floor. This will not tickle. He lets everyone think about it and the stadium has gone silent. IT CONNECTS! A collective gasp from the crowd as Cena's skull bounces off the thin mat. 1...2...3.
Fall 9: Randy Orton via pinfall (elevated DDT to the floor). Orton up 5-4.
Right after the 30 seconds Orton goes for another cover but Cena kicks out at 2. Orton rolls Cena back in and...stamps on his hand? OK, it's the Garvin Stomp. Knee drop finishes it off, 2 count only. Another 2 count after a right hand. Cena is still trying to get to his feet, only to get knocked down. But he kicks out again! No you're never going to keep him down! 21 minutes left. Orton comes off the rope with a right but Cena gets a burst of adrenaline and ducks it and hits one of his own! Orton smartly bails and Cena's energy burst subsides. Orton realises he's up and Cena has to come after him. Cena comes up the ramp after Orton, who meets him with a boot to the gut and a beatdown. Cena blocks a punch and hits one of his own, sending Orton scurrying back to the ring. He's making Cena expend energy by chasing after him. Cena gets pissed and comes down to the ring, Orton meets him coming in with more right hands. Genius here by Orton. He sets for the elevated DDT again but Cena breaks free and goes for the Attitude Adjustment! Orton elbows out and flees through the fans! Cena follows! This stalling is also allowing Cena to recover of course. The cameras catch up in time to see Cena in control, apparently due to a trash can shot. HOLY FUCK there's a manatee in the crowd. Did I mention I hate crowd brawls? All we're seeing is Orton being dragged through the fans and punched a lot. 15 minutes to go. Cena tosses Orton over the barricade and gets a 2 count. Cena drives Orton's head to the steel steps and gets 2 more. There's a dude with a bWo shirt on. Win. Cena throws Orton into the barricade a couple of times, he tries it again and Orton goes THROUGH the barricade! Cena is setting up furntiture, but apparently he wuld rather crown Orton with the steps! Instead of going for the cover, he sets up the steps by the announce table, picks Orton up from the floor to his shoulders and climbs the steps! Attitude Adjustment through the table! 1...2...3!
Fall 10: John Cena via pinfall (Attitude Adjustment through the announce table). Tied 5-5, 8:30 to go.
Cena goes for the pin right away! 1...2...2.9006! Cena is looking for plundah...
Cena! GET THE TABLE! He sets it up on the inside as Orton writhes in agony on the flotsam of the announce table. Cena dispatches Warrok and Ajax to bring back his body...well, not really. He gets Orton himself, carries him back to the ring, and puts him on the table. Cena from the top....LEGDROP GETS NOTHING BUT TABLE! Orton looks like Cook after a bourbon bender. Orton and Cena are on their knees slugging it out. They get to their feet still exchanging shots, 3 minutes left. Cena wins the exchange, ducks under an Orton shot and hits the shoulder block! Cena ducks under another shoulder and Cena wipes out the ref! RKO!!! The ref is out, here comes Little Naitch! 1...2...NO! Orton takes out Robinson, and I believe it may be third and long. Orton looks like he's hearing voices in his head. They counselled him, and now he understands. Here's the snap...Cena moves! STF! 45 seconds left and Orton is fighting! He's crawling, twisting! 30 seconds! Orton is trying anything to alleviate the pressure! HE TAPS AT 5 SECONDS!!!

What would be awesome is if the 7-on-7 Match ended with ECW running in at the end, and then cutting a promo on being tired of getting disrepected, leading to ECW guys invading both shows, which would lead to SmackDown and RAW stars appearing on ECW, which would eventually lead to more people watching ECW. This has been bugging me for a while, I still don't get why if they're going for a Smackdown vs Raw gimmick PPV (And a nice way to plug the game) why not go all out and have ALL Smackdown vs Raw!?! Do we really need an hour of Cena and Orton? Wouldn't Taker vs Cena here make more sense, the best of each brand facing off. Then either book the Iron man match for a big 4 PPV(Survivor Series) or even throw it out on the 3 hour Raw in a couple of weeks, to mix things up for a change and actually have some wrestling on your flagship show. As a knock on effect the Samckdown team wouldn't be so shit due to the fact they've lost their top 4 performers due to the title match. I mean how important is brand supremacy to you when you've decided that you're top 4 wrestlers should fight each other and leave Kane and Finlay out there to defend your honour!?! WWE IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!!

I don't know, Kelly is pretty overrated in the looks department to me. She's not ugly by any means, but so damn generic. She's young, so she may improve, but I really don't see her doing much. She's like this generations Torrie Wilson, only not as pretty.

I'm a bit slow at how IP addresses are tracked but if the mods on this site can track the IP addresses of people petending to be Mysterious, ban them. I don't mind the RVD, Paul Roma, Mickie James, etc stuff that goes on because it's par for the course, but I actually like Mysterious' posts.
