For all the "who?" comments, this is probably exactly what most British people say when its announced that guys like Ben whatsitburger and those two racing drivers are hosting.

Well unfortunately for those British who may think that, they're watching a program based out of America so that's what they should expect

Well I know absolutely nothing about this guy, but here's hoping he has knowledge of the product.
I agree with the others, either they should only let wrestling talent host or they should just find one GM and be done with it! The only non-wrestling celebs that have stood out positively: Snoop Dogg (not a fan of his, but he knew the product!), Shaq, Bob Barker, and Freddy Prinze Jr. (even though he was barely on the show.) Almost none of these celebrities care or know about the product. They mess up peoples' names, events, keep their appearances to a bare minimum, and just say things positive towards faces/negative to the heels so they'll remain cheered. Honestly, I'd rather have something like the celebrity comes out and say they have no respect towards the WWE and I'm only here for (insert thing.) And because of that, they book things more towards the heels or have them act as tweeners by saying something like "Okay John Cena, I hate you and you don't deserve the title but I like Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, Randy Orton, and Jack Swagger. They each get a shot at you tonight."
Please WWE, make it more interesting or just drop it already!

Love the fact that apparently all the americans don't know the name of the boxer who was one half of the highest drawing boxing ppv card ever.

as long as they wheel out Blue Moon, let him crack a few gags and maybe add a United jersey or two (Porter's worn one before) for some cheap heat and it'll be decent

Ok, I see your anger, beings as you can't possibly be American yourself or you might know how to write proper English.

Hm, an AMERICAN company having AMERICAN sports figures as hosts? When the UK Wrestling Federation has Ricky Hatman hosting and people say "Who?" then you have a valid point.

Excellent choice. Hatton is a naturally funny dude and extremely popular with the crowd. It's hard NOT to like him.
He should just be prepared for the , "you got knocked out" jokes.

Do you think WWE gives a rats ass if British people know who Ben Roethlisberger and Joey Logano are?? Their targeting American audiences and they,by and large know who these guys are. Their bringing in Ricky Hatton(who a couple of people in America know) to make ye Douchebags over there happy. So be happy Douchebag. If you don't like WWE go watch some British Wrestling company. Oh. Thought so.
"Let's not be too dismissive of Hatton. He did belt Kostya Tszyu into retirement (that took a large amount of doing).
Posted By: WadeMcG (Guest) on November 03, 2009 at 01:17 AM"
Kostya Tszyu was 60 when Ricky Hatton knocked him out. Every time he's faced anyone half decent and only slightly older than him as in "Mayweather" and "Pacquaiao" he's got his ass handed back to him.

Alot of Americans had heard of Kyle Busch that didnt mean we wanted him or really knew him. Nascar sucks. As far as Ben Rothleisberger he is the current 2 TIME 2 TIME Champion of the NFL. Next week's show will be good, because the guest sucks. Hopefully he is better than I think. Last night Ozzy was good and he got the loudest ovation I have seen ANY of the guests get however that did not translate to a good RAW. Also as far as relevancy goes Floyd Mayweather Jr showed just how relevant he was after his guest hosting.

WWE's audience does not follow boxing, especially the lighter weight classes. I mean c'mon, Vince's fetish for big men is well known. He jobs out every smaller guy and won't give them a serious shot, presumably because the audience doesn't take smaller guys seriously.
So then he turns around and has a smaller boxer host Raw and expects people to know who he is and to respect him? Hatton isn't even that good, and Mayweather is also far from the best. Neither of these guys is the best. Pretty much everyone will tell you Pacquaio is the best right now pound for pound but I bet 90% of those people never even bothered watching him fight. Boxing is just not as popular now as it was before, and the lower weight classes have never been as popular as the heavys.
UFC guests would indeed draw better and would be more interesting. You'll never see that happen of course. Rampage might be a possibility though since he's not currently fighting.
Still, the guest host gimmick is worn out (it got worn out pretty quickly actually) and they have a lot of trouble consistently getting quality guest hosts.
Hatton probably isn't one of those. I don't know what teams are playing on MNF next week, but I'd wager most American sports fans will tune into the NFL game, outside of the west coast which has Raw on a delay.

I will actually tune into Raw this week strictly because Hatton is hosting.
THERE'S ONLY ONEEEE, RICKY HATTON!!!
Also, don't be surprised when Hatton out-pops everybody on the show. Fool is a god in England.

Awwwww, what's a matter?
Pissed off that an AMERICAN company who caters to AMERICAN fans on AMERICAN television has AMERICAN celebrities on their show??
Face facts rest of the world, WWE may have shows in other countries and may tour those countries every once in a while but when it comes right down to it, the fans that they are gonna cater to the MOST are AMERICAN!
We spend the most money on their products, our ratings are the only ones WWE cares about, and our country is the one where most of the events are held.
Sorry to burst your bubble rest of the world, but WWE will continue to cater to AMERICAN fans for the REST OF THE COMPANY'S LIFE!!!
