- On November 11th, Dinner Impossible on the Food Network will have a WWE themed show, featuring Jim Ross, The Miz and others. Here is the episode description:

WWE: A Mission on the Mat
Robert is taken to the mat as he joins up with some of World Wrestling Entertainment Superstars at Summer Slam, WWE's biggest summertime event. Stephanie McMahon gives Robert his mission to feed 300 WWE VIPs a "Superstar" meal in just nine hours, this means every dish he creates must be based on some of WWE's Superstars' signature moves such as Frog Splash, Clawhold, and Knife Edge Chop. Stephanie is center ring joined by her seven foot tall, 400 pound "enforcer", Big Show, who's there to make sure Robert knows that failure is not an option!

I think old footage on Blu-Ray would work if they do the think like on Raw with the Bars on the Ends. Also, I think it would be fun for them to put pop facts about things in that dead space. There are many things they can do Blu-Ray wise.

I know this is an incredibly geeky thing to nitpick, but am I the only one that hates it when people refer to Blu-Ray discs as Blu-Ray DVDs? The whole reason they're called Blu-Ray is because they're a new and different format from DVD. That seems about as dumb to me as if someone called CDs CD Cassettes or DVDs DVD tapes.

Robert's a big guy. It'll be interesting how his size matches up to some of the superstars.

I guess they don't want drunk Superstars unknowingly posting things that the E doesn't want us to know.

Right, 'cause if you can't beat freaking DOLPH ZIGGLER you're definitely in contention for the World Title.

So they're independent contractors...but you censor what they write on their personal accounts and put limits on when they can post?

Yeah you're the only one. It's a fuckin' movie on a CD so it's a DVD. Nobody's gonna care about the format.

OK, the commenter-role-playing-as-wrestler thing usually creeps me right out. But this made me laugh out loud.

So, WWE management are official twits

Posted By: Guest#6128 (Guest)  on November 05, 2009 at 07:02 PM

Hey JBass24, I figured I was the only one, thus why I stressed how geeky of a nitpick it was. What can I say, I'm a tech guy. However, it is completely impossible to make a comment on the internet without some jerk making a dickish reply to you complete with an F bomb? It reminds me why I don't comment here much.

You know pasty Dusty Rhodes circa 1985 will look awesome on Blu-Ray on a 60" screen!

I was just sayin nobody's really with the blu-ray movement yet so
I wouldn't expect everyone to know the difference.
