Brock Lesnar Dealing With Serious Health Issues
Posted by Larry Csonka on 11.15.2009

- According to Dave Meltzer, Brock Lesnar's health status is way more serious than had been previously reported. Lesnar went to Canada last week for rest, as he is recovering from Mono, and while there collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. There is a major health issue that he is not letting out, but to kill rumors that may pop up, he does NOT have cancer or HIV/AIDS. It is said that Lesnar will not fight for a very long time, if ever again. Dana White will head to Minnesota to meet with Lesnar, and will also try to get him into the Mayo Clinic, or some other top notch medical facility.

- Dana White spoke on Brock Lesnar's health last night following UFC 105. For details, click here.

Thank God he doesn't have this new, deadly disease called Cancer HIV/AIDs. Sounds deadly.

Posted By: Guest#2614 (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 03:12 PM

may be serious side effects of all those stuff he was pumping to get that body

Posted By: Guest#8104 (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 03:12 PM

That's messed up. Hopefully he recovers soon.

Get well Brock! If anyone can fight what you have, you can!

That's what happens when you abuse steroids. At least Fedor is au natural.

Posted By: TheTruth (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 03:55 PM

That sucks. Like the man or not, it sucks to hear stuff like that. Get better, Brock.

Posted By: Snork (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 04:09 PM

He's just ducking Fedor

Posted By: Guest#0482 (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 04:10 PM

Massive amounts of steroids? What?

Posted By: Guest#8347 (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 04:10 PM

Shocking news.. get better Brock. No doubt he'll be stripped of the UFC belt soon.

Posted By: Andrew Barbarash (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 04:19 PM

Sounds like glandular fever. Federer had that and came back almost as strong, so there's hope for Brock. But first and foremost, he has to survive it. I'm sure he will and I sure hope he does.

Posted By: Bimmy (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 04:23 PM

Holy shit.... Dana White is a MAN?

Gee Doctor, seeing how you don't know his symptoms, you must be right!

Your mother should ban you from the internet.

Steroids + Booze + Pain Killers = New UFC Champion.

I've never liked Brock Lesnar, but I do feel bad for him here. Even during his days in WWE, he just didn't look like he had a lot of wind. Whatever his problem is, I wish him a full recovery.

Posted By: A-Ron (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 04:45 PM

Shit. Get well, Brock

Posted By: The Other Ryan (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 04:46 PM

With Sable nursing him, he'll be back to full strength in no time.

Woah, didn't expect that one coming. Get better soon Brock. That sounds so awful.

not the canceraids! (with apologies to the AV club)

but he is married to sable so there could be any number of things floating around his system

Posted By: the dude (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 05:20 PM

for the people that keep saying "didnt expect that" i'd like to know who you DO expect to get career threatening illness?

Posted By: Joe (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 05:20 PM

see,if he stayed in the WWE this would just be a story arc.

Posted By: uglyhead (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 05:33 PM

"With Sable nursing him, he'll be back to full strength in no time."

I wouldn't. All my strength would go into getting lovin from her

Posted By: Guest#8836 (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 05:39 PM

Just because Brock doesn't have AIDS or Cancer we shouldn't assume he's safe - many things can go wrong with wrestlers, especially if they've weakened their bodies with steriods.

Posted By: JAK (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 05:39 PM

good luck brock. Love him or hate him, he said he wanted to leave wwe for real sport. Nfl didn't work out, but his determination led him to succeed in the ufc. I hope that same determination gets him through this. Regardless of what it is or how he got it.

Posted By: chazz (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 05:42 PM

All the steroids finally caught up with him.

Sable's flap got him. Must have HIV.

Posted By: propagandhi (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 06:22 PM

"cancer HIV/AIDS" without an "or" in there that sounds much worse than regular cancer.

In call serious. Best wishes to Brock. I hope you recover.

He got cooties from Sable.

Posted By: chamster (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 06:28 PM

For what it's worth, Lesnar didn't want the word about mono out either so there's no reason to assume it's beyond the pale bad.

Posted By: Guest#9426 (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 06:33 PM

Zach Gowen poisoned him. That'll teach him to push a one-legged man down the stairs.

H'm...swine flu then?

Posted By: Guest#9829 (Guest) on November 15, 2009 at 03:29 PM

Swine flu is a joke. It's only marginally more dangerous than regular flu. If Lesnar had it he'd be fighting again in no time.

With Sable nursing him, he'll be back to full strength in no time.

Posted By: Guest#4600 (Guest) on November 15, 2009 at 04:47 PM

Sable will drop his ass like a hot potato if staying with him means giving up the comfortable lifestyle shes become accustomed too. Thats how most wrestling wives are. (i.e. Deborah, Sable, and one or two others who come to mind)

Posted By: Guest#5090 (Guest)  on November 15, 2009 at 08:23 PM

If it's a contagious blood-born illness then I could see that being career-ending. It doesn't have to be AIDs, but it could be something like Hep C. Can't really put another fighter at risk since there's a good chance blood is going to be involved in a MMA fight.

Just because you don't believe praying works, doesn't mean that everyone else doesn't either.I bet if you had a major health issue, you'd want people to be praying for you. Also....before you post comments, you should know the difference between "think" and "thing". Two different meanings

Dear Lord, I know there are millions of people starving to death, suffering terrible injustice and being slaughtered. But, if you could just find your way to help a millionare who fights for a living.

Pssh.. people and their stupid fantasy.

He's said he has never touched steroids in his life. I think I believe him. Plus, aren't all UFC fighters tested for illegal substances regularly?

This site is populated almost entirely of douche bags huh?

I actually do know what a typo is. You, on the other hand, should learn how to use comas which would definitely improve what you just said. And you're the real retard here, cause you're trying to impose your views on others because you think you know better. I would definitely disagree with that
