More Thursday news…
- The Miami Herald has an article up on a Make-A-Wish Child, who got to go to WrestleMania last year, and how John Cena has inspired him. You can read that here.
- The New York Daily News has an article up on Sherri Sheperd attending Raw, and how disappointed she was to see MVP lose. You can read that article here.
- Here is the Survivor Series card for this Sunday:
* Traditional Survivor Series Match: TEAM MORRISON: John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin and Finlay vs. TEAM MIZ: The Miz, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger
* Traditional Survivor Series Match: TEAM MICKIE: Mickie James, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Melina, and Gail Kim vs. TEAM MCCOOL: Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Layla and Alicia Fox.
* Traditional Survivor Series Match: TEAM KOFI: Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, MVP, R-Truth and Christian vs. TEAM ORTON: Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, William Regal and CM Punk
That's great for Cena, hate on his performing all you want but you gotta admit he's a good guy

It's funny how since becoming a heel Punk suddenly tags with everyone he hated as a face with no explanation - Regal & Orton in particular. It's like when Matt Hardy turned on Jeff Hardy and was suddenly teaming with Edge in face vs heel multi-man matches - WTF?

Why are the ppv title matches always the same match types...

Survivor Series looks like a great card on paper, not a bad match there, even the divas should be decent.

Exactly what use does a poor dying child have in learning how to correctly inject steroids?

I think it's nice that so many kids look up to Cena, even if I don't really see the appeal there. And he seems like a class act in real life.
But his catchphrases are even more generic than Hogan's were. I understand that's sort of the point, as he's supposed to be the modern day Hogan. But come on: Never back down, and never quit? That's so fucking white bread.
I think if Cena sticks around long enough, these kids are eventually going to turn on him big time. And I seriously doubt he has enough talent to pull a "Hollywood Hogan".

I like the stuff with Make a Wish. It's the only time WWE comes off decently. But I guess the story about Cena proves that kids are just as stupid and gullible as always.

Seems accurate to me. Does anybody know if the 3-way title matches are under whatever rules they are where you can win the belt by pinning anybody, even if not the champ? Cuz if so, I'm assuming Jericho pins Big Show.

Shepard is more entertaining than any current diva, fact!

I am one to admit that I hate on cena often hearing stories like this one makes it pretty hard to hate him as a person. He's not the most technical of wrestlers but he's an awesome dude who is legitimately humble and always willing to do charity work. Good job Cena.

"Exactly what use does a poor dying child have in learning how to correctly inject steroids?"
What the fuck is that about? Where is your proof that Cena is on steroids? THERE IS NO PROOF. It is easy to look like Cena without the steroids. I think your personal hatred of Cena gets in the way of innocent until proven guilty.
"But I guess the story about Cena is proof that kids are just as stupid and gullible as always."
Why? Because kids look up to Cena and sees him as a hero? Is it all of a sudden a crime for kids to look up to heroes? Let them have their heroes. Doesn't make them stupid.
Seriously, this is one of the reasons that the IWC can be a bunch of asshole douchebags.
