So no figure for each one's total net worth?

I know at some point Vince was a billionaire, what happened?
Posted By: Tom (Guest) on November 19, 2009 at 09:04 PM
@Phil It's like the guys at Google who make a $1 salary. They get more money through stocks and get taxed a lot less.
Posted By: Guest#3378 (Guest) on November 19, 2009 at 09:14 PM
vince does not just make 1,000 bucks. he gewt around 45 million per year from all the stock he owns.
Posted By: Guest#4374 (Guest) on November 19, 2009 at 09:16 PM
I have a slightly higher salary than vince!
Posted By: L I A M (Guest) on November 19, 2009 at 09:22 PM
Vince makes just a thousand bucks?
-------------
I remember reading someone at apple (steve jobs?) had a salary of 1 buck a year, but he basically had an unlimited company card. im sure its a similar situation. vince doesnt need to make the money himself, he can spend the company's money

Many higher-ups choose to earn $1 a year because they do it for the love of the job and not for the money. Besides, the more Vince pays himself, the less money he has to invest in his business.
Posted By: panik (Guest) on November 19, 2009 at 09:26 PM
They probably hold everything jointly, so their net worth is tied together. Also, the value of the company isn't factored in since it is publicly traded.

Actually most candidates report the spouse as over $1000 since they do not have to report spouses earnings as the article reads....He makes far more than that in salary. She just isn't required to say how much in addition to his stocks and dividends. In 03 his salary was $1.1 million and $850,000 for talent fees. I believe he has dropped the talent fees over the years but seriously doubt his salary has gone down.

Wow, McMahon's math was way wrong when he announced that he was a billionaire.
355,000,000 = 1,000,000,000. Epic Fail.

So? I'm failing to miss the point here....

So much for the so-called "Battle of the Billionaires" at Wrestlemania 23...
Posted By: Guest#0608 (Guest) on November 19, 2009 at 10:18 PM
actually the wrestling observer stated that vince mcmahon's personal net worth is 500 million.
the wwe as a whole is worth 1 billion dollars on the nyse.
as far as being a billionare, who cares if he is not.
mcmahon has more money than tna, panda energy, dana white etc
he certainly has more money than those stupid iwc rassling maggots who bash left and right over how he runs his billion dollar corporation.

perhaps the stocks only include WWE shares as a percentage of the business. Since it is a publically traded company, Vince sold a little less than half to investors, that money is somewhere, likely in other holdings not listed.

you guys are so stupid seriously..
theres a reason why their salary's are listed so low .. and why Vince doesn't really have a salary... unless you guys are like 21 yrs old or younger. theres no point of trying to explain it to you

Dividends get preferential tax status.
Posted By: elgrannoche (Guest) on November 19, 2009 at 11:44 PM
With those wages, they must have sold a ton of stock to get $103M
Posted By: Guest#1352 (Guest) on November 20, 2009 at 12:11 AM
yeah there are all sorts of ways to work the numbers and hide it. he's rich beyond his wildest dreams anyways

Where's JP Prag when you need him most?
Posted By: The Stealer (Guest) on November 20, 2009 at 01:40 AM
That's nothing. Vince is small potatoes compared to the Million Dollar Man. Ted DiBiase is so rich he can afford his own slave.

McMahon was a billionaire in 2001 when the company first went public and when business was through the roof. Unfortunately, as business hit a downturn (not because of the 'cyclical nature' or any of that bullshit) Vince's stock dropped as a result. Same as if Microsoft suddenly went bankrupt in the course of a year Bill Gates would lose the vast majority of his fortune.

HAHAH. Im making more than McMahon...well not really but at least in a way I do.
Also, that tricky bastard is gettin outta paying taxes!

It's wrestling. Vince isn't a legit billionaire. Andre wasn't 7'4". Kane isn't really the Undertaker's brother. And so on.
Posted By: Canucklehead (Guest) on November 20, 2009 at 09:00 AM
Vince never has been a billionaire. He doesnt have grapefruits wither. Its a character in a TV show people.

Vince is just one Bernie Madoff away from the poor house. I guess thats everyone with money to invest.

Epic Fail? You do realize that wrestling is scripted, and not everything they say is 100% true, right? Also just announced: Undertaker is not dead but alive, Umaga speaks English, Terry Taylor is not actually a giant chicken.
Posted By: Guest#8094 (Guest) on November 20, 2009 at 11:56 AM
Surprised at how stupid you guys are. This is not how much money he has you bots. I can't even start to explain cause I'm sure you'll say something stupid. With all that money Vince is living high! And he might as well be a billionaire.

Yeah and about 40 MILLION DOLLARS from his stock options!
Posted By: duh. (Guest) on November 20, 2009 at 12:53 PM
Don't forget the fact that the Mcmahons probably have money in all kinds of different accounts all over the world!
If you've got money in banks ANYWHERE in the world other than the U.S. then you don't have to report it to the U.S. Government.
I'm sure if for some reason Vince needed to come up with a BILLION dollars, he could probably do it.

You needed this column to get it ? Just go over the SD ! report of this week where everyone is talking about a girl with more curves than your average skinny one "fat" instead of discussing the actual wrestling of the show...
If Vince is not "rich", then what are we exactly ? Ah yes most of these comments are billionaire in stupidity
