WWE News: Jeff Hardy Goes To Court Tomorrow, Variety Covers WWE, More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 12.01.2009

- Variety has an article up on WWE and BskyB inking a new TV deal to extend WWE programming in the UK for the next five-years. You can read that article here.

- The Jeff Hardy: My Life, My Rules DVD is out today.

- The pre-sale code for the January 24th house show in Champaign, IL is "WWEIL". [Credit: Pwinsider.com]

- According to Pwinsider.com, Jeff Hardy returns to court tomorrow for his probable cause hearing. If it is determined that he committed the crimes he is charged with, the case will then go to the grand jury. If it goes that far, the grand jury would then decide whether or not to criminally indict Hardy. If he is indicted, the case would then go to superior court, unless there is a plea bargain made at some point. The case was continued from last month, which was partially due to results of a drug test not returning. Jeff Hardy is facing the following charges:

*Felony possession of cocaine.
*Felony drug trafficking of opium
*Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug (two counts).
*Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution.
*Possession of drug paraphernalia. (misdemeanor)

The government says those "Jeff Drugs" are BAD drugs, not like the ones the CIA helped bring in, or the ones that Pfizer sells!

BAD drugs = BAD Jeffy!!

Jeff: Your Honor, I may be guilty of trafficking hard drugs, but you can buy my new DVD, available everywhere.

*swanton bomb off Judge's bench*

If he was smart he would have checked into rehab by now. Courts would have seen it as a turning point, and might go easier on him. Dude is an idiot.

The fact that WWE is still releasing the Jeff Hardy DVD probably means they don't expect anything serious to come of this. Of course if you believe Matt, this was all the work of some crazed fan sending a package and tipping off the police.

Something tells me (whether good or bad) there's more to this case then we know right now.

Why did they wait for a drug test? Those charges deal with possession, not use...

Jeff Hardy will be made the prison yard bitch

It's going to be hard as hell to do his unmotivated sloppy high risk maneuvers in an 8'x8' cell. Hey but it's his cell, his rules.

being an jeff hardy fan i do not want to see him prossacuted and end up in prison for 12 years or more like i do want to see him come back and team with his bro but again maybe a year or 6 months in the tank would help him get his life together but if he does come back keep him with matt no more single titles

Cue all the IWC e tard "lawyers" talking about Hardy's court case as if they actually have a clue about how the law works!

Oh and all the "holier than thou" IWC IDIOTS who condem Hardy for using drugs, meanwhile THEIR daddys are drinking all night and beating their wives all day!!

I had heard that it was a setup and even though I am in no way a Jeff Hardy fan, I hope that is the case

I'm surprised WWE is releasing a DVD of this guy.

2 Options
A- they were waiting on the drug test to determine that what they found were indedd drugs.

B- There is intention to make Jeff Hardy be prosecuted as a user meaning that the test would be asked for by his defense.

as a lawyer I would not advise my client to do such a thing. Not at this point. Doing so could be looked upon as an admission of guilt. I would advise Jeffry to wait. All of this is just show. He will go to the superior courts and he will plea bargain and he will get no less than 2 years jail sentence and 10 years probation. Jeffery will break that probation and do time all of his time. Good bye Jeffery, there is always TNA when you get out. TNA takes all the wash outs from the wwe. Im sure they will copy WWE when they bring you back as they all do...

if any of you think that jeff did this then you are missing the point. jeff left wwe because of phillip jack brooks (cm punk)and for some personal reasons. phillip did this, if he didn't then why is he telling everyone "i told u so", he wouldn't be bragging so much. jeff wounln't do this, not when his career is sky high. today when he goes to court he will be free and back in wwe.

I think a famous person shares themself with fans when at work, what happens with the person outside of work is as much our buisness as your next door neigbours pet dogs bumhole.
Zero. Knowing someone through telivision does not mean theyr private life is as open to just as much viewing.
if this man is not doing his swanton thing on your tv that means he is not at work & that means it blatently just NOT your buisness.
"but I saw him on tv so his private life is"
NO.Its not.
Only elderly women are nosey enough to be intrested in strangers private lives.
It's like watching M J take a dump instead of watching him perform his songs.
A little wierd & frankly very boring.
Let's all just pay attention to our own problems
