And when you can get 3.2 serving up turd on a platter, why change?

Other than Cena's match, not much going on that was worth the effort, in my opinion. I know that's a minority opinion around here though.

soooooo the first 20 minutes put people to sleep so they couldnt change the channel? It is funny they did better ratings with cena as champ than now being that everyone hates him so much..."everyone" being the iwc who bitch about everyone who isn't cm punk

honestly i dont care about the rateings for tribute to the troops cause rateings for that show should not even matter what matters is givin the troops some happiness for the hollydays and raw tna do not mess with the best

actually the raw show did a 3.2.

it is really a joke that dave scherer will always round up numbers for tna but never does it for wwe.

by the way, the nfl game did an 8.4 cable rating but that is a down number so wwe should not use that as an excuse according to 46 year old middle age pro rassling dirtsheet writer scherer who has so much knowledge about this circus industry yet never had the balls to open his own promotion so he just spends his life leeching over wwe's success.

here is some info: it is christmas week. families have more on their minds than watching rassling so maybe that is why wwe did the peoples court segment last night and had the secret santas so they could entertain the kids

wwe will likely kick it in gear on jan 4 with a three hour raw featuring the bitter canadian hasbeen bret the whiner hart.

hart cares more about the fact that mcmahon took a fake title from him than the fact that ex wwe writer scripted the blue blazer stunt that cost his brother's life.

however, the hart family got 18 million in a settlement in 2000. bret did not get a penny of it so maybe that is why he could care less about martha's opinion to see him doing business with wwe again.

wwe OWNS bret hart's rassling legacy and if there is one thing that bret hart loves, it is himself. he is the biggest bret hart "mark" in the world.

That couldn't be more untrue... Its amazing how so many swear they know how Bret Hart thinks. Its also amazing how the WWE rehashes the screwjob almost annually, yet people say Bret is the one who can't let it go. Amazing

*sigh* Remember when 10 million people regularly watched wrestling on Monday Nights?

lol, it dropped. I'd laugh if it was a 2.9 next week.

You're an idiot. If Owen had chosen not to go up on the rafters, it's very likely Bret and Vince would have patched things up a long time ago. It was Owen's death that made Bret so angry and embittered about Vince. Get that shit out of your brain.

I am surprised that RAW keeps getting that rating. In reality they are not even trying. Tell me that Little Peoples Court is a great angle and your delusional. Whoever says that RAW has been good recently is completely delusional. I will be watching on Jan. 4th, BOTH TNA and RAW and I suggest we all watch TNA (even though you wont) so Vince can get creative and PLEASE end this crap hes been putting on TV.

Because if you actually have a good show you can get an 7.0 rating or higher and more ratings means more money.

"Because if you actually have a good show you can get an 7.0 rating or higher and more ratings means more money."

Not necessarily in the case of Raw. USA Network gets all the money from the commericials and just pays WWE a fee per episode for the rights to the show. WWE will only get more money if USA decides to give it to them as the sponsors on Raw pay USA, not WWE.

I watched the show last night and I saw the segment with the little people and while no it wasn't great, I still had a good laugh at it. A good laugh over how bad it was. And why did I laugh? BECAUSE IT ISN'T WORTH WHINING AND CRYING ABOUT.

And if all of the whining is about is because it involved little people, then it shows how prejudice some in the IWC can be. As if the little people were just freaky animals instead of human beings just like us.

Bret has a bit of an ego & has been a bit bitter over the years but that doesnt mean i wont mark hard when he returns, i really cant understand how any real wrestling fan wouldnt be looking forward to seeing the Hitman return.

Tribute to the Troops was boring.

Raw was HORRID.

No one gives a damn about AM Raw.

You know for everyone who thinks this has to be anti-Cena how about the opposite? Cena was forced to job out to a guy who wasn't even a high mid-carder before SS because WWE didn't bother to build up any new talent even Sheamus before the end of the Orton feud even DX who obviously had a new program Jeri-Show before the SS main event was announced. How about somebody take WWE to task for not bothering to try to make a new star to finally beat Cena which should be a big accomplishment instead of something any joe schmoe can do by just simply throwing him threw a table? This is almost like Test beating Ausin in April 1999 to win the title (with all due respect to the late Andrew Martin) or Hulk Hogan losing to Akeem in 1989 for the title. It just was poor decision making on their part whether or not people want to admit it or not.

Its nice the WWE tools like to kiss Vinces ass so much. They did give Owen a gimmick that he wanted nothing to do with that did lead to his death so for Bret to be angry at them is justified no matter what the settlement was and as usual nice to know the wwe tools will think money should mean more then a brothers life.

All Vince had to do was not have Bret job in Canada for a guy who always was a company guy yet that was too much to ask for in his last month in the company wow big freaking deal. They made a ton of money off of that screwjob and want to act like its no big deal when they rehash it all the time but the best part is they need Bret to still draw reactions because no one cares anymore about the current product except for kids who will drop the product in 2 or 3 years because they realize its not really that great like everyone did in the early to mid 90's except this time there will be no competing company to save the business like ECW or WCW did and change the way Vince did things.

I am a huge wrestling fan but seriously all you guys crying over bret hart is sad. Get a life!

I'm not going to watch TNA just so Vince will get off his ass. It's stupid because I'd like to see if TNA can actually gain fans without guys tuning in simply to get WWE to take notice. It's not going to work anyways. the Hogan buzz wore off weeks ago.

TNA's mistake...giving Vince time to form a plan. If they had waited until last week they might have had a chance. Idiots.
