Kid Kash Arrested
Posted by Larry Csonka on 12.23.2009

According to the Kingston Times, former ECW, WWE and TNA star David "Kid Kash" Cash has been arrested on charges of identity theft, forgery and theft of property. The arrest happened yesterday, where Cash was arrested on four counts of identity theft, two counts of forgery under $500 and four counts of theft of property under $500. The Times says that Cash, age 40, is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on January 4. Cash is charged for using the credit card of "a female acquaintance", but Cash states that he had permission to use the card.

He stole my identity 10 years ago!

So they finally caught on that he's been trying to be Kid Rock for years, eh?

"... David "Kid Kash" Cash has been arrested on charges of identity theft..."

The joke just writes itself.

In other news, Razor Ramon was arrested for breaking into a Bic factory.

I guess cash isn't money after all.

I got a fiver that says Dixie tries to buy the rights to the hearing and show it on iMPACT! that night.

Always thought he was a great performer. Sad to hear about this kind of crap.

WHOA! HE'S HARDCORE!

Posted By: Bill (Guest)  on December 23, 2009 at 03:48 PM

Well that sucks for him. Just in time for the Holidays. Wrestlers personal lives are WAY more interesting than what they do in the ring. To think that at one point he was one of the sports brightest young stars. Remember him in ECW? The guy was awesome!

LOL!

Only a matter of time before TNA signs him for publicity.

I guess his new name will be Kid "Lack Of" Cash.

At least get the paper correct, it's the Kingsport Times-News. Kingston is on the other side of Knoxville.

The late Rev Ike was right, "Lack of money is the root of all evil."

The only thing I remember from Kid Kash in WWE is that he looked kinda like Owen Hart.

Posted By: y2kev (Guest)  on December 23, 2009 at 04:51 PM

I didn't know his last name was Cash. Cool.

Well at least it wasn't drug charges

Posted By: hi (Guest)  on December 23, 2009 at 05:12 PM

This gives me a great idea, WWE should create a stable around guys who used to be in prison. MVP can head it up, since his sentence is already over, and when Jeff Hardy and Kash get out of prison they can be his subordinates.

charges =/= conviction

guess that chiropractor thing wasn't working out for him.

Posted By: Def Cheetah (Guest)  on December 23, 2009 at 08:12 PM

As Joey Styles used to say, "Kid Kash is money!!" Well, he USED to be money, now he just steals it.

Back in the original ECW, believe it or not, Kash really was awesome. Who would have ever thought that his TNA partner, Dallas/Lance Hoyt/Lance Rock/Vance Archer would have more of a career than Kash?

Posted By: Guest#1230 (Guest)  on December 23, 2009 at 08:43 PM

I take it the cash has all floated upriver? lol

Should have known something was up with anyone who once wrestled as "David Morton Tyler Jericho". Talk about identity theft?

Posted By: Guest#5429 (Guest)  on December 23, 2009 at 10:24 PM

I hope this shows young people not to get into pro wrestling...theres not much of a future once your career is over! If Mr Cash has God in his life then none of this would have happened

Posted By: Pedro (Guest)  on December 23, 2009 at 10:35 PM

Jan 4th eh, court should go head-to-head with WWE as well

Kid Kash IS Mr. TNA: Total Nonstop Arrested.

"Should have known something was up with anyone who once wrestled as "David Morton Tyler Jericho". Talk about identity theft?"

I met him in Virginia when he was wrestling as David Jericho. He teamed with the R&R Express. I was asking Tatanka what he thought of ECW & hardcore wrestling and Kash interupted and put his unsolicited 2 cents in....he said "it's garbage wrestling for guys who don't know how to wrestle".

I got a kick out of it years later when I saw him make his name in ECW.

To the asshole that compared this situation to Kurt Angle's implying Kash might be innocent. Kash is a hoodlum and Angle is an olympic gold medalist.

I was on a plane to Philly yesterday sitting next to Dave "Kid Kash" Cash. I was joking around with him. He's a decent person. He's got some good plans to get some things going in Wrestling. Good luck, Kid.
