WWE Superstars Taping Results & Live RAW Notes [Spoilers]
Posted by Leonard Hayhurst on 01.26.2010

Taped Superstars matches before RAW:

* The Bella Twins beat Jillian and Katie Lea Burchill

* Chris Masters beat Chavo Guerrero and Primo in a triple threat for a Royal Rumble spot

* Chris Jericho cut a promo on how he was going to win the Rumble, then R-Truth interrupted him and said he was going to make sure to eliminate Jericho at the Rumble, then they brawled.

A few live notes:

* There was no dark opening matches or dark main event

* After where I believe RAW went off the air, John Cena just played to the crowd for about another five minutes.
DX also played to the crowd through what was probably most of the first commercial break.

* After Santino got beat up by Jack Swagger some referees and guys from the back came and helped carry him off. It looked like maybe Santino was legit injured.

* We couldn't hear in the arena what Alisha Fox and Dule Hill were saying to each other at ringside and people were confused.

* Likewise, we couldn't hear James Roday very well on the speaker phone.

* The majority of the crowd was pissed that Bret Hart nor the Undertaker were there. They also seemed ticked that William Shatner was going to be the guest host next week. It felt like we got the short end of the stick.

* Chris Jericho, Randy Orton and Miz all got small pockets of face pops across the arena.

* John Cena was over huge, people were popping crazy for him before the show stared when he appeared in the Wrestlemania 25 and Christmas with the Troops videos that were shown.

* Chris Masters got a surprising to me strong pop during the Superstars match.

* Sheamus got ok heat, but it was nowhere near what Orton, Legacy, Big Show, Miz or Jericho during his promo got.

* DX vs. Legacy was probably the match that got the most fan reaction and Alicia Fox vs. Gail Kim got the least.

Katie Lea losing to the Bella yet again. Absolute garbage.

Note to Miz. When you are a bad guy you are supposed to get booed.

Santino was fine. They had a spotlight on him the entire time they walked him to the back.

There really going places with the Bret Hart Angle. I mean, I understand wanting to take it slow. But this is ridiculous.

I was there. The Superstars taping was possibly the two worst matches they could have dreamed up.

"The majority of the crowd was pissed that Bret Hart nor the Undertaker were there."

The Undertaker wasn't there? Next you'll tell me that Rey Mysterio, Batista, John Morrison and CM Punk weren't there either! How disrespectful!

Why were they pissed? Taker is on SD! and wasn't scheduled, and neither was Bret.

I'm guessing it was because Vince mentioned The Undertaker or they are morons and don't understand that he is on Smackdown

The RAW preview that I checked on WWE.com that day teased both Undertaker and Bret Hart and if you remember from the RAW previous that Triple H encouraged Vince McMahon to call Undertaker out on the next RAW, so it was hinted that he would be there.
