Randy Orton Comments On Alleged Assault On Fan
Posted by Larry Csonka on 01.27.2010
Orton speaks on the matter…
- The Saugus Advertiser has a new article up on the alleged assault by Randy Orton on a 15-year-old male. The boy accused Orton of spitting gum in his face and swearing at him on Jan. 8th. Here is what Orton had to say, which was reportedly posted on his website…
"Here's what happened: I walked out of Kowloon's Friday night around 12:30 to 1 a.m. with Santino and a police officer escort. As I was being rudely hounded for pictures and autos (I had a 6:40 a.m. flight through Minni to Lincoln, then a drive to Omaha, a match, a drive back to Omaha, then a charter to Minni, and a driver to Rochester for the next show the next day, btw), I was confronted by an older women who said: ‘Hey Randy, you spit on my handicapped son a few years ago at a show, what do you have to say about that?'
My reply . . . `So Sue me.' Then I proceeded to my car, with Santino and the cop and drove back to our hotel by the Boston airport.
I know I have been a bit of a hothead in the past, but I DID NOT spit gum and call names to any child. The woman is claiming I called her son a [derogatory term] three times, and spit gum in his face. Come on people, even at my worst temperament, I would never call a handicapped child something awful like that. I'll actually sign anything for any child with any disability.
I heard just today from WWE attorneys that this woman filed assault charges against me four days later? Hmmm, oh, and what about the dozens of cops at the restaurant that were there for crowd control since there were over 100 wrestling fans there?
Not to mention the cop that escorted me to my freaking car. I'll be happy when this is over. I guess if I've learned anything from this, it is not to ever challenge anyone to sue me."
"I guess if I've learned anything from this, it is not to ever challenge anyone to sue me."
Didn't he learn that from Marines?

He should have given the mother a RKO while Santino does the air trombone. Then the cop says VINTAGE VIPER.

I read this just to see if Randy hit someone with the RKO on top of a parked car. That would've been cool.

Randy Orton came to know wealth waaaay too early and in person, he really sucks - you can even feel the ego on this dude. If he did spit on a handicap kid, Randy, karma is something you will never outrun.

Randy Orton, Santino and a cop walk into a bar............

I am Randy Orton and "the WWE and its attorneys approved this message good day.........so sue me"

I hate you Randy Orton, you kick like a girl and are boring in the ring. But more than anything right now I hate you for NOT being a douchebag. Well played.

So this happened a YEARS ago?
That woman is a bitch.

I've seen Randy have some kid pull off a stuck piece of toilet paper off the bottom of his shoe, before he signed his autograph-and the kid did it. He is not cool to his fans whatsoever-I believe the psycho mom over him.
He thinks he is an actual A-list celebrity...that's the funny part.
Posted By: Guest#4372 (Guest) on January 27, 2010 at 04:39 PM
I'm assuming Randy wouldn't get into it with these people since he's awaiting trial for assaulting Stephanie McMahon, but if that wasn't the case, I would assume that he would have RKOed the shit out of the lady and knocked the kid out of his wheelchair and kicked him in the head!

Back in the good ol' days of wrasslin', when men were men, spitting gum at spastics was nothing.
Bitch should count herself lucky it wasn't Haku.

If he is innocent, he has nothing to worry about.
Posted By: Doc (Guest) on January 27, 2010 at 04:50 PM
He has a 6:40 AM flight (which means a check in at what - 5:40, 6:00 at the latest)? And he's out eating chinese (if that's the Kowloon's I'm thinking of) after midnight. Probably got back to his hotel around 1:15 AM, another 30 minutes of getting ready for bed and looking at himself in the mirror. That would leave him around 3-3.5 hours of sleep.
I'm not sayin'.
I'm just sayin'.

Randy Orton and Santino drive together? That's the sitcom right there, the Laurel and Hardy of this generation!

"After reading this I'm pretty sure Randy's innocent, that woman sounds crazy"
After reading RANDY ORTON'S carefully prepared statement you think it sounds like RANDY ORTON is innocent? I'm not casting judgment either way (it's not a criminal matter so innocent and guilty are the wrong words to use), but...
Hey, I own this really cool bridge I'd like to sell to you. Some mint swamp land too.

Im a little disappointed that randy didnt RKO the little crip, then call his mother a leach for producing offspring unfit to be in the presence of the great randy orton.
"Now roll your ass away from me"

I've no love for the guy as a performer, but in this case, I'm inclined to take his side in this.....there have been no witnesses cited since this story first broke and Orton's explaination is not only more plausable, it's more defensable also. People on this website all too often speak like they know these people, or at the very least act as if they are better than them. Wise yourselves up lads.

Posted By: Guest#4101 (Guest) on January 27, 2010 at 09:32 PM
I met the guy randomly at a movie theater in Northern Virginia, as he was walking out of Twilight: New Moon. I used to work there, so we were tipped off that he was in a movie, so we waited for him. All the annoying employees hounded him for autographs and he obliged them all even at almost 2AM. I didn't ask him for one, but his friend bummed a cigarette off me.
I guess the only point of this story is even though RKO seemed completely disinterested, he did stop and let us say hi and bask in the celebrity glow. I doubt he called the kid a cripple, or whatever he called him.

i did the same thing, and yes, it did sound awesome! i even raised my hands at my side and turned my head slightly to the left
Posted By: guest (Guest) on January 28, 2010 at 03:19 AM
Only Randy Orton could end up sounding like a giant douchebag while giving his side of the story. All those people "rudely" asking for autographs...wow, I'm glad my life's not that rough. It really puts the 40% paycut I took last year into perspective.

Randy Orton vs Handicapped Kid with Mom in his corner at Wrestlemania...Book It!
Posted By: krisl100 (Guest) on January 28, 2010 at 09:11 AM
it is probably just me, but if my traveling partner were Santino, i would be beating the shit out of newborn babies within a week.
even if the woman's story were true, and Orton spat gum at her child at that moment, and now years earlier, i don't think i could blame him for it.
Santino will do that to a rational human being.
beware

You got the rub from Randy's friend by him asking your for a cigarette? You must feel really special. Now you're on your way to becoming a real cigarette-giving superstar.
Cool.

Posted By: neverAcquiesce (Guest) on January 28, 2010 at 01:19 PM
Orton should just yelled at her "Stupid, stupid, stupid!"
He seems like he can be a bit of a arrogant prick with a temper problem at times, but hey, if you were that rich and famous that young, wouldn't you be too?
It also sounds like the woman just wanted to get her name in the news or some money by accusing him of dumb shit.
He'll probabbly mellow out in a few years and discover Jesus like they all do. Then you can ask him for all the autographs you want.
Posted By: lilwayne1 (Guest) on January 28, 2010 at 02:39 PM
I read this in Batman's voice. It didn't really have the same impact.

If it's on videotape Orton is in big trouble.
