Oh Wes….
- The following video features Wes Sims, who recently faced off with Bobby Lashley at Strikeforce: Miami. In the interview, Sims calls accuses Lashley of being "juiced" and that the referee stopped the fight early.
He dropped after that punch, he went limp, and now he's full of excuses. I wouldn't be surprised if he did it on purpose. Idiot.

I have to disagree. A lot of it has to do with genes along with a proper diet and working out. I have a few friends that are as big as him, and I know they don't do any types of illegal steroids.

Whatever about the monkey comment, he took it back.. He didnt say it because he was black, but when they guy brought it up Wes was smart enough to realize that and took it back...Sorry but many in strikeforce are juiced. Why do u think Overeem, Diaz, and now Lashley are there, they dont test like UFC does. Everyone knows in Pro Wrestling there are alot of steroids use, and Lashley looked even bigger during his fight than he did a few months ago..

well haven't seen any pics of Lashley short of his debut in WWE. No clue what he looked like prior to that so before throwing out the juicing crap and all that need to see what he looked like cause the man could be a freak of nature much like they treat Lesnar.
And he stoppped himself early in the interview but then called him a monkey later.....yeah and I know he is pissed...a loss is a loss.
I give any fighter credit for taking a fight at the last minute but, don't get pissed if you get beat......you took it at the last minute and all you seemed to know of the opponent is he is a wrestler? Really....forget the fact he been training for this career even if he hasn't faced what others call real opponents he been training for this career.....he works for a company that allows him to continue training for said career and you walk in like he has no skill or never trained in "your" sport. I can see if this was what a couple year ago and the day he walked out of WWE he was getting right into an MMA ring...h would deserve and ass whoopin for that...but don't take that man lightly which is what he did.
Pretty sure it will be different if he took it like a real fight instead of thinking he could easily expose Lashley as some wrestler playing MMA.

Im not saying Wes would've won the fight, but the stoppage was bogus. And Lashley didn't exactly look good here. I would almost be willing to favor a better prepared and in shape Sims over Bobby. The bathturd is extremely one dimesional.
As for the monkey comment, well...Lashley is rather ape like. I don't see why saying a certain black person resembles a monkey somehow means they all do. Forrest Griffin looks like a monkey too IMO. Had he called him roided up Wayne Brady it might have been a little better.
All in all, i feel most of this is sour grapes on Sims part, but i agree with him on the early stoppage and that Lashley isn't much of a fighter. Not yet anyway.

Bobby Lashley is juiced. Look at his amateur wrestling pictures from a few years before his pro wrestling debut. He weighed maybe 190 and was skinny as shit. Three years later hes a beast. Rrrrrrright.

You don't think there's steroid use in MMA? Not defending pro wrestling, because there certainly is rampant drug use there, but to act like MMA doesn't have drug use in it is just naive.

If that was the case Overeem would fight for Strikeforce more often. He hasn't fought for Strikeforce since he clearly got juiced out of his mind.

Too much. It wasn't racist at all, and that only crossed Sims' mind when the interviewer pointed it out. All my MMA-fan friendsrefer to Lesnar as an ape because HE LOOKS LIKE AN APE with those knuckle dragging arms of his.

Wes Sims is a sore loser who should count his blessings that the ref stopped the ight when he did.
Lashley was owning this inferior fight and had the fight carried on he'd have been true mincemeat. Watch the replays of Sim being a bitch and grimaching with Lasley's fast and powerful punches. Was too much for the douch.
Lashley is not bad but will never be on the level of Fedor and Lesnar who are the world's 2 best heavyweights.

Lashley was huge before pro wrestling, not quite as big but still one of those freaks like Lesnar... so it's quite possible he's natural with loads of supplements and gym time. I've seen bigger guys who don't juice and ironically smaller guys who do.
Wes is just bitter he looked like a bitch, threw one punch and didn't defend while being repeatedly pummeled from Lashley's head sized hands.

Wow, who would've thought that Wes Sims would still be a douche bag? That guys made Matt Mitrione seem likeable.
The only fight Wes had recently that was stopped too early was against Justin Wren. I would've liked to have seen that fight go about 2-3 minutes longer
