It was nice seeing Jeremy Borash, a longtime friend of mine, from TNA
while I was in Nashville. He hung out with me and we never once talked
wrestling. Some feeble minded idiot who saw us in plain view tried to
start the rumour that I might be heading to TNA next; although why
anyone would ever think I'd let Hogan and Bischoff anywhere near my
Hitman persona again is truly beyond me. Anyhow, as for the Super Bowl
on Sunday between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints, I've
decided after great deliberation to pull for the Saints but I think
Manning will pull it out of the fire. Most importantly, I hope it's
close anyway.
- On his Facebook page, Human Tornado has announced that he is officially retired from pro wrestling. Since the announcement he has been removed from several bookings, including Dragon Gate USA's WrestleMania weekend shows.
The Hitman is going to TNA because WWE IS DYING :)

Hahaha, even the TNA-fanboys are stalking the WWE-wrestlers. Looks like hogan and bichoff got some competition.

Eh Human Tornado was too cool to be a pro wrestler anyways.

repost the human tornado's retirement as it's own post it's over shadowed by an old man addressing gossip
there goes my dream of seeing tornado v sydal again
Posted By: Guest#7009 (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 01:21 PM
Bret's right. Bischoff really dropped the ball on Bret in '97. But it's understandable, considering it was Hogan running WCW all along.
Posted By: Guest#8937 (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 01:24 PM
If you put the letter S infront of "Hitman", you've got my exact opinion of Bret Hart.

Screwjob aside, Hitman was a very important part in WWE. To say his run in WCW mattered is a lie. Hence what said about letting them near his persona.

The "WWE IS DYING" guy was joking. I thought the :) gave it away.
But the only thing that's really dying is Bret's reputation. Vince has made him look like a bitch on the mic the two times they have encountered each other so far. Younger fans must look at Bret and just see this old dude that is living in the past. His hair, his wardrobe, everything about him screams "has been". And this is coming from a huge Bret mark.

I just hope Tornado has a means of employment after wrestling. I've followed him since RevPro. He's a great guy.

Dammit, Tornado. Well, i guess my WSX dvds will go up in value now. No? Whatever.

Yeah, he's letting Vince do stuff to him that he said over five years ago - he'd never do an angle on Montreal. I guess getting spit on and beat down by Vince pays more than having Hogan calling you a "never drew flies at a fleamarket" type of person - I guess.
Look I'm glad Bret was able to let it go, even if its for money - but the only reason Bret is still angry at Hogan because Hogan was right about him.

I, too, am saddened by Tornado's retirement. I thought he was pretty badass in the few matches I saw of his.
Posted By: G-Walla (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 02:51 PM
i'll never forget on nitro, bret hart faced sting in a street fight. it was AWESOME. it was both had technical wrestling and insane brawling. it looked to be the start of a hot feud.
next week on nitro, NOTHING! it was as if the match never happened.

It's more than that with Bret though. I think physically he looks great considering everything he's been through, and his age. But he should not be dressing up like the Hitman of the 90's. The leather coat, the stringy hair, the jean shorts(although at least he ditched those last week). He looks like one of those guys that can't get past his moment of greatness, and is trying to relive it over and over again.

Bret is such a hypocrite & phony. When he was in WWF HE went on About Hulk Hogan Like he was the devil. Then when wwf through him out & he went to wcw he kissed Hogan's ass he called Hogan the Elvis of wrestling & said no one would ever be able to match him & for years he went off on Vince & Shawn saying how terrible they were & that he would never go back in a wwe ring again under any circumstances. Now that he is back in wwe he has no hard feelings to Vince or Shawn. So now he will cry about his time in wcw for the next 12 years like he did about Montreal. He is a Phony & a very sad man. He looks pathetic in the ring. Like an old jerk. I am glad people are not bying his crap. Hogan is right he can draw people for a high gym.

Sadly, you might be right. But the way I look at it is, Bret's "legacy" from the past isn't in jeopardy-- it's already established and isn't going anywhere. Anyone who wants to see that can just look at his DVD. Anything we get out of Bret from here on, whether good or bad, is just a bonus.
Posted By: Guest#4186 (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 05:17 PM
And Hogan, and Bischoff, and Flair, and Angle, and yadayadayada would never go to TNA, either. Oh, and those that did go would be world champion in 2 minutes.
I don't doubt his statement is sincere, but he said he'd never go back to WWE either.
Honestly, the only person (at least of the old-timers) whose word I would trust in wrestling is Sting.
Posted By: Jimbob Jones (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 05:36 PM
why would a guy who got screwed over (by vince) root for a team that cheats?
Posted By: why bret why? (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 05:44 PM
Really sucks Tornado is retiring. Hope he does well with whatever it is he'll be doing now.
Posted By: kEkE (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 08:17 PM
Wow and I thought I might see Human Tornado make it to the big leagues one day
Bret Hart is awesome for pulling for the Saints!
Posted By: Pete (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 08:34 PM
Guest # 4486, the "Vince made him look like a bitch" gimmick is by design. Hart is going to be made out to be a weak fool against the atagonist (McMahon), as a build up to what we all know will be a WrestleMania match between the two. Some will want to see McMahon "get his" in this match. It's all about the $$.
Posted By: OldSchoolFan (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 08:44 PM
So, Tornado pulled out of DGUSA shows and no one's bitching? Guess he's just not the name the Davey Richards is.
Posted By: Jeff (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 08:58 PM
Bret may be older, but he still looks like he could open a can of whoop ass, especially on some of the wrestling experts posting here. I'd be willing to bet some of you wouldn't last five minutes with him. That's inside the ring. WWE still has some of the best all around entertainment going, compared to the so-called reality shows, and that goes for sports, too. At least they don't have to give something away to the first ten thousand people who show up, just to put butts in the seats.
Posted By: guest (Guest) on February 07, 2010 at 09:17 PM
Awwww....Tornado was awesome :(
Best moment was CZW Cage Of Death against Ruckus.

Damn.
