Cue the WWE fanboys ripping Flair to shreds. Anybody with a brain should have seen this coming from a mile away.

One report I read said he had to jack it into a cup as part of a competition.

Yup, and supposedly Ho Kogan wasn't gonna wrestle. Hey TNA let's figure more ways we can keep the GOOD wrestlers from actually wrestling on your weekly show...

and they actually think they are gonna compete with RAW. PFFT!!

Yeah, crap all over the great and unforgettable Wrestlemania moment, so that you can have a lame match in a second-rate promotion.

Jericho was right! (kayfabe-wise)

Ric..
Whatever your personal problems are, or reasons for getting back in the ring, I'm okay with that. All I ask is that you please wear a shirt in the ring, and stop talking about your sexual conquests as a senior citizen. It is disturbing. Kthx.

I'd like to see Flair wrestle one more time...for Sting's retirement match. That's it.

The prices on Angle's stuff is a little steep. $6.95 for what amounts to a Lean Cuisine that costs $2.

Flair's gonna wrestle Hogan? Complete CRAP...how is this helping TNA whatsoever? I've seen these guys wrestle each other 100 times before when they were in their 50's, what left to they have to do now? Flair I've always loved you but PLEASE for the love of God hang it up buddy. HBK retired you, you got your last moment, stop embarassing yourself and your legacy.

Posted By: The Anvil (Guest)  on February 09, 2010 at 07:50 PM

Yeah, its not like a surprise that Flair wants to wrestle again. It even makes sense. But, geez, it'll be such an ugly mess to see.
Although I think Flair has always been overrated as the best ever (Michaels, Benoit, Hart are all better), he was a great worker in his prime without a doubt. But that prime ended in the early 90s, and through the 00s he became a self-parody in the ring. When one of you primary moves is falling comically on your face, something is no longer working. That WM match with Michaels was subpar, but did at least have a terrific, emotional story, and, yeah, that should have been his final ring appearance.
I've lost some respect for Flair the man as a result of how he blew away all his money over the years without seemingly taking into account his family and his legacy.

I can see Flair now tripping on one of his saggy tits.

Posted By: Vince (Guest)  on February 09, 2010 at 08:56 PM

Well Flair already got in the ring to yell at Jericho a couple months after wrestlemania and just a week ago he and A.J. beat up the Pope and Joe so that's life.

"The prices on Angle's stuff is a little steep. $6.95 for what amounts to a Lean Cuisine that costs $2."

You've obviously never bought a Lean Cuisine if you think they're only 2 bones.

What do you people not understand. I need the money. Limousine riding and jet flying don't come cheap woooooooooo

'Cue the WWE fanboys ripping Flair to shreds. Anybody with a brain should have seen this coming from a mile away.'

everyone did, and only a handful wanted it. there is no one in TNA right now that could carry Flair to a pathetically bad match, let alone a good one like HBK did.

Flair should only be in a mangerial role or even a commentator, but never in the ring again. he just doesn't have the chops anymore.

and if you say otherwise, you are lying to yourself.

I was bashing Flair before bashing Flair was cool. I have always been the voice of reason.

Lots of good comments here, guys. Lots of good comments.

Nobody has mentioned Dutch Mantell's blog. I've read the last few and for anyone who was a fan of WWF in 1995-1996 (i know, all 6 of us), they are good reads and give a new perspective of things from behind the curtain that I remember watching on TV as a kid in highschool.

With that being said, you may now resume obsessing over Ric Flair's tits in 5...4...3...2...1...
