Get all the details!
Here's the synopsis for Mick Foley's next book, Countdown to Lockdown, which is due out October 1 from Grand Central Publishing.
The world famous wrestler and #1 New York Times bestselling author recounts the blood, sweat, and tears behind his knock-down, drag-out TNA debut comeback against archrival Sting.
The fierce, fearless, and sometimes self-destructive man behind the personas of Cactus Jack, Mankind, and Dude Love, Mick Foley remains the undisputed literary king of the ring. In this mesmerizing memoir (hand-written, no ghost writer), Foley chronicles the heart-pounding buildup to his TNA debut, Lockdown, one of the most important matches of his long and storied career. His every limit is tested as he comes out of retirement and overcomes a host of injuries to get back in the ring with one of his most formidable opponents. He also dishes previously untold stories from his remarkable life, including his transition from the WWE to TNA, his stint as a ringside announcer, his tumultuous relationship with Vince McMahon, his thoughts and feelings on the use of steroids in wrestling, the tragic story of Chris Benoit, and his soul-saving charity work in Sierra Leone.
Raw, frenetic, and adrenaline-fuelled, COUNTDOWN TO LOCKDOWN charts Foley's rebirth and rise to heights that his fans thought he would never see again.
Be careful what you say guys, Mick Foley checks our comments for feedback on his next literary abortion.
Don't hurt his feelings again.

I don't care that Foley went from WWE to TNA, that's not what this is about for me. What it's about is that Foley's last autobiography sucked unwashed balls. You can't write a new autobiography every couple of years. His first book was the Mick Foley story, his second was a collection of "interesting" stories, but now it's time to realize the autobiography genre is closed for Mick. Now it's all facebook status updates and twitters. It's not interesting anymore. Write fiction Mick, cause you have become the worlds first Autobiography "hack".

Haku should write a book explaining his Raw, frenetic and adrenaline-fuelled reign as WWF King!
"His gripping fight with Harley Race for the undisputed crownship, his many DQ victories to his WM5 battle with the mighty Hercules to then finally being upset by Jim Duggan. Relive the glory of this former Islander as this 475 emotional page-turner will have a Tongan death grip on YOU!"

When I first read Sierra Leone I thought it was the name of some chick

It would be better if it were ghost written.

can't wait to once again pay money to hear foley's narcissistic bullshit about how much charity work he does.
before u get on here and sook foley... and foley before u get on your blog and suggest that i don't have a right to an opinion because u think i'm a cliche fat internet geek (who happened to help make u rich), well... engaged, very well-paid government job in my country... and a masters in creative writing.
so, essentially... more qualified to write than u pal, and more than qualified to tell u that your last book was shit.

Christ, you people are negative bastards.

I really couldn't care less about all the make-a-wish and soul-saving child-saving stuff. Look, it's great, I'm glad it makes, but if I want to read that, I'll buy Mother Theresa's book. The best parts of the Hardcore Diaries was the in-ring recollections and work around matches and politics of storylines. Very intriguing stuff. I'll look into it...

I'm not sure I want to read another book all about his charity work....

If you don't like the sound of it, then don't ducking buy it.
Looking forward to it, Foley#s books always keep me entertained.

anyone else embarrassed when reading Andys comments? gross

Mick Foley wishes he had know about steroids so he could takin them to get over instead of getting over by dropping his fat ass off of stuff.

If you do read this again Mick, i would like to give you a brief introduction to the 411 comment page. I see 16 comments right now. On average out of 16, 3 of these will be relevant or funny, 5 will be negative, 3 of these will be people arguing with the negative, 2 will be the negative responding to such comments. and the rest will be jokes about Paul Roma or RVD's one shot deals.
Read with caution.

I wont buy it but I will get a lend of it from someone who does, foley is still one of my favourite wrestlers of all time no matter what company he's with

Eh, might borrow it from the library. I skipped The Hardcore Diaries and I only finished Foley is Good.
