WWE.com has removed Rob Van Dam from their Alumni section.
ow.

So they should. Why is RVD screwing up such a good open door deal with WWE just to go to this pathetic, WWE retirement home with NO wellness policy?
Make fun of WWE. At worst WWE can be bland and uninspired. TNA at worst...well we saw what's happening since Dixie gave away her power to the ex-WCW guys like the loyal bitch she is! TNA is a fucking acid trip, written by people who are clearly out of their minds, high as a kite, when they come up with how atrocious to make it, each week. And I used to support this product. You can forget it now.
RVD, you messed up. Don't go grovelling to Vince once it folds and Dixie can only make money from turning tricks.
Posted By: Guest#2700 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 02:05 AM
Take that RVD. That will really make him regret going to TNA. Now he might not even be inducted in to the fake hall of fame. Boo hoo.
Posted By: Guest#5129 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 02:23 AM
Actually, at it's highest, TNA was either 7 or 8
Posted By: Guest#3515 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 02:36 AM
WWE removed RVD from their website? Omigod, it's like he never worked there, evers!!!
Sometimes this wrestling stuff seems so goddamn stupid.

Love TNA.
Love Dixie Carter!
For as long as I have been watching TNA. Or other promotions since 1972 when I was a kid. TNA topped them all in 1 bite.
That other promotion did great, but it's the same ole thing. We needed competition. So I think they finally acknowledged TNA as that. Their actions speak out. We needed the "Band" back together. We needed Dixie Carter in black. Oh hell, we needed Sting! Oh hell we needed RVD.
Now if TNA does not get any better. "I will be convinced that this site belongs to the WWE".
You even had the Beautiful People in black with lacy. Now I can kick back on Mondays, with a beer in 1 hand and the remote in the other to switch from TNA to Sanford and Son on my DVR. That's what I call competition.
Good goin Dixie.
Now all you need is a different arena. A big arena. Maybe Universal Studios in LA, CA. Then you can travel all around the bay area.

"- Some Verizon FIOS viewers did not get the HD feed of SpikeTV last night and had to watch the SD version."
Hopefully they weren't able to see the aging in flair.

anybody noticed ric flair is still in the wwe opening intro.
Posted By: Guest#2907 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 04:56 AM
What else is new with WWE removing profiles of former talent that go to other promotions. As Heyman said in a 2001 worked shoot promo that is my favorite, "Vince is losing all his loyal employees". By next year, Orton will be in TNA when he realizes he wants to do some smoking with Van Dam without Having to be fined or that the travelling is less.
Posted By: DMiller (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 06:14 AM
the only reason why rvd went to tna is because tna has no drug policy so he can smoke marijuana until his head goes up in smoke and he is a lazy bastard who does not want to work houseshows. enjoy fuewding with 50 to 60 year old men like has been hogan and the old stinger.
Posted By: Guest#5804 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 06:41 AM
Is it RVD who Warrior replaced in the opening montage? Talk about giving RVD the middle finger.
Posted By: Guest#5867 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 07:17 AM
No surprise. They removed Jeff Hardy after Jan. 4.

"Why is RVD screwing up such a good open door deal with WWE just to go to this pathetic, WWE retirement home with NO wellness policy?"
I think you might find the answer in the question there.
Posted By: Bruno4:20 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 07:43 AM
Well done RVD, screw all these brain-dead pro-WWE SHEEP with no guts or tolerance for diversity, you go earn your living and play where you want to play, who cares if you're not inducted into some paper-think unworthy hall of fame where they hand out cheapo Captain Planet rings.
Frickin IWC joke sheep. I laugh at you. Get kids, get laid, grow up, and enjoy diversity
Posted By: David B (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 07:50 AM
Oh RVD... you joined TNA to be buried by Sting. Bad move son, bad move. Not as bad as the one that got you fired from WWE, but jeez dude...
Well, at least you can enjoy the reefer.
Posted By: Banz (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 08:06 AM
Raw always starts at 9:15 on The Score so Impact will always be unopposed during the first segment. If that first segment is as bad every week as it was last night I'll probably just watch the Raw preshow the Score has on from 9 to 9:15 instead.
Am I the only one that failed to see what was so amazing about the first 5 minutes of Impact? Hogan and Abyss come to the ring and Hogan cuts a promo. There's five minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

Look at those last four words again. I think that answers the question juuuuuust fine.
Posted By: rdfox (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 08:31 AM
TNA was only trending because people would rather tweet about TNA than actually watch the show
Posted By: TheRev (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 08:35 AM
RVD? Is that the guy who got his ass beat down during the Hogan/Sting segment?
TNA was a lot of fun and much more interesting than RAW... But only in a train wreck kind of way. Seriously, by my count 30% of TNA's drama last night came from wondering whether or not guys were going to fall down and break their hips.
Posted By: Guest#3560 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 08:36 AM
Even though he only trended up to #10, nobody got higher than R. V. D.
boo hoo, RVD isn't on WWE.com anymore... that affects him how? They don't pay him, he is beyond their exposure, and they'll still come calling if and when they think they can make a buck off of him.
Posted By: Guest#6254 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 09:28 AM
Keep in mind many of the Twitter comments on TNA were NEGATIVE.
Just because the trended high doesn't mean it was for a good reason
Posted By: Guest#0835 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 09:49 AM
woah, woah, woah.
When did the IWC turn on RVD?
I get it. Going to TNA= career suicide to you people right?
I mean ya'll are pissed off and its legit. That is pathetic to be honest.
But what do I know. I don't work in the wrestling buisness
Posted By: Guest#3443 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 10:48 AM
Have to appreciate WWE's strong move in stopping Van Dam from ever having worked for them in the past :)
Posted By: diz (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 10:53 AM
That's funny because I watched TNA Impact instead of WWE. Criss Angel did a good job making RAW's viewership disappear.
Posted By: Michael (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 10:57 AM
Dont worry, they removed him in a one shot deal
Posted By: slickster (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 11:29 AM
I like how WWE sheep talk about the old geezers of TNA when two of the biggest Mania matches this year are Vince/Bret and Taker/Shawn.

awww boo fucking hoo! how would you like it if us REAL wrestling fans started comming back with TNA, Sting, Bischoff, and Especially flair(yeah yeah i admit hogan did way better and he put Abyss and aj over) and bought off some new generation E-Tards to the show through Hardy, Angle, and Mr. Showtime himself RVD! I lit a joint for that one no blunts lol white paper old school like nwa/wcw/ecw/wwf! last nite sometheng came to me...i watched wwf when i was little, watched wcw as a teen and after suffering being a majority raw fan in 02-early 06 i realized wwe just lost they touch...i would rather see tna rehash the past cause the wrestlers disapeared for a little while vs. wwe just because they have been doibg the same stories gimmicks and ring style for the last 20 years themselves! the attitude era was 97-01 its 2010! you cant even bitch about me being wrong!!!thats the only time alot of niggas in the south ever cared about them and now they either watch ufc or tna, or nothing but sports! WWE has became increasingly gay and its fans are very homo for vince's mcmeat! This site over the last 10 has became pro wwe even there was a time when 411mania dominated in my eyes and was highly recommended! Mcmahon did a number on the wrestling world but if anything he killed it, only one opinion of everything that ever happened want work so keep that in mind the best shit in his library belonged to someone else cause back in the late 90's he was the one struggling and that was the high period of wrestling, here's for the mainstream again and tna! and face it nobody but te execs cares about ratings and never did wwe is doing numbers that once upon a time would have killed them they lost the monday audience, it was them! with everything from wwfe, wwe, wcw, ecw, nwa, jcp, gcw, stampede, awa, and more at their exposal! They only cater to one group...nerds! Undertaker and HBk II guess what WRESTLEMANIA AINT EVEN MANIA NO MORE! there was a time in the most important era-WARS where shawn wasnt shit but a has been and Undertaker needed to change his gimmick to a guy on a bike meanwhile hogan sting flair bischoff nash was seen more than anything else on mondays! like it or not they have loyal fans...and old hernia groin pane bret hart...goldberg gave him a real superkick and put his lanky ass out! i laughed! im a fan though i think lol! im sick of wwe as are alot of wrestling fans just because they became wrestling got my attention and ego's destroyed my monday nights(now we got ufc beer and weed o and money and bitches and shit) but the wrestling aint there but now its back! Like it or not the wwe will never equal what they once were and tna may not either but they got one thing going for them...the element of surprise, like nitro, and im not talking bout returns!chaos

============================
I highly doubt that is the ONLY reason he went to TNA. Let's face it, his wife is still probably not fully recovered from cancer, and the TNA work dates are much less demanding than WWE. Second, if RVD wants to smoke then, go ahead. WWE let Orton shit in women's bags, I'd find that to be 10 times more offensive than smoking weed. And after all, if RVD smoked his whole ECW career and put on those performances, I say kudos to him.
Plus then you say he's gonna have to fight Hogan and Sting....given RVD's career, he's fought pretty much everybody except the old WCW fogeys. I'd say he'd welcome that chance.

Actually most the tweets about TNA were very positive. Meanwhile no one tweeted anything about WWE, because they never do. RAW's been the same show for years now. What's to tweet? Just pop in a VHS tape from a decade ago, same RAW but with less Cheech and Chong.
Posted By: Guest#6981 (Guest) on March 09, 2010 at 01:48 PM
this is the second time I have read that TNA was trended the most but, first time anyone mentioned whether it was negative or positive. Although it doesn't matter word of mouth, even negative might still be good for them, might bring in viewers to see if it was really that bad of a show or were people just complaining for no real reason. So it might help them in the long run.
As for wrestling promotions since the 70's granted wrestling has gotten a lot better since then but, given TNA is still considered to be in its infancy compared to the territories/promotions back then.....it did alright but hasn't proven itself the best yet, good start but still has work to do. The promotions of the past had some what of an advantage at that their talent pool could change almost yearly with different new comers and established superstars moving/touring from promotion to promotion(not fully lockedown to contracts yet) but the lockdown was taking hold slowly. Novel concept but everyone knows there is money in locking down their talent so we can't see that anymore, wish it could go like that for a while though.
Maybe then you wouldn't see the same old stuff from both promotions today.
