Various News: UK Viewing Numbers, SmackDown Delays, More

– Viewing number for the UK for the week ending February 28:
* Impact – 91,000
* Raw – less than 25,000
* Smackdown – 165,000
* NXT – 38,000.

– Dennis Condrey has signed with WWE as a trainer with FCW, assigned to the NXT talent.

– Smackdown on My50 in Chicago will be delayed tomorrow and next Friday due to high school basketball playoffs. The show will air after the games are over. Smackdown is also delayed in Lubbock tomorrow, airing at 10:30 PM due to college basketball.

– You can see a review Steve Austin’s new movie Damage at here. It’s a positive review, calling the movie one of the best fighting movies on the DVD market.

– An interview with Colt Cabana about how he got the Scotty Goldman name and how he was used in WWE is available here.

– Doug Williams states that despite reports that he trained recent WWE signee Jemma Palmer, “The most I have ever done is point her in the direction of decent wrestling gyms in the UK.”

– A John Morrison story is available here, talking about his return to Stockton. He went to college at nearby UC-Davis.

– Vampiro will wrestle for the first time ever in his home town of Thunder Bay, ON on May 15 at the Fort William Gardens. He’ll be facing Hannibal with Terry Funk as guest referee. Also on the card are Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Lanny Poffo and Honky Tonk Man.
