Updated TNA Destination X Card
Posted by Larry Csonka on 03.16.2010
Some clarification...
- Last night on the TNA website, they labeled the Knockouts Title match as a first blood match. That has since been removed from the site. For a short time, the site also had a Global Championship match between Rob Terry and Brutus Magnus listed. That has since been pulled. This looks to be the final PPV card…
I look at the card and can't help think that all of those matches aside from the one with hall and waltman sound as if they have the potential to range from good to great just a pity the creative direction of tna is pissing me off so much.

Good call to pull the 1st blood stip for the ladies' match. TNA has let their women have some pretty cool matches but with Daffney's huge bumps I don't think it'd be wise to have her blade.

No hogan, No flair, No sting, No rvd, No jarrett, No foley, No nasty boys, No jeff hardy.
Am i expected to purchase this?
Really?
No, C'mon Seriously?

The Ladder and Ultimate X Matches are the best looking matches on the show and i wouldnt be suprised to see those two matches get below ten mins
Posted By: Guest#9881 (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 08:24 PM
So Hulk Hogans not wrestling.
Why have a ppv, there's not even a reason to watch this free online
Posted By: HammerTime (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 08:24 PM
Losing the Rob Terry and Brutus Magnus match is really going to hurt the buy rate. Had to be at least 4 people who have ever heard of either one of them.

This card may earn The Guinness World Record for apathy.
Posted By: Poi (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 08:32 PM
wow what a horrible ppv, i do want to see the doug williams match though. i've been a hugh redskins fan for years
Posted By: Skins Rule (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 08:34 PM
Who cares? TNA sinking at every last moment, every single day-some new BS going down, none of it positive.

Posted By: Guest#1997 (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 08:41 PM
I'm sorry, but this is a fun looking card. The Ultimate X and Ladder matches are going to compete to steal the show, and AJ Styles vs. Abyss, Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Kennedy, and Doug Williams vs. Shannon Moore will all be good to great.
Posted By: Nevermore (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 08:42 PM
Will this event be held at a Armory or High School Gym?
I hope they can sell either one of them out.
Posted By: Vic Tomato (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 09:03 PM
dont see how anyone but a HARDCORE fan would buy this
Posted By: Guest#9910 (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 09:13 PM
I really get the feeling TNA is more chaotic backstage than ever before, and they are doing a terrible job of hiding it. Who can follow all this?
Posted By: Russo (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 09:21 PM
Even though I'm not too fond of TNA I'd have totally bought the PPV to see that women's First Blood Match!!!
Posted By: thepsychedelia (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 09:23 PM
I watch TNA had seriously had no idea until last night that the PPV was this Sunday. Also had no idea the Ultimate X match was for a shot at the tag titles, that makes sense. TNA is horrible at promoting and setting up their PPVs.
Posted By: WrestlingFan (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 09:27 PM
hell there free shows better than this. i dont care about the rumors that ahmed johnson might be at this show or not.
Posted By: Guest#5168 (Guest) on March 16, 2010 at 09:33 PM
I predict this will have the worst buy rate of a TNA PPV for 2010 - then again, at this rate it could be the last TNA PPV of 2010.

Nigel Vs Pope?

Aside from the card, I just watched Impact this past monday and during Styles/Flair promo, the TNA belt is broken. LMAO yeah look at the top of the belt where the two wings or whatever come together at the top, it broke freakin off, classic TNA.

@ WrestlingFan
They announced that the UX match was a #1 contender's match last week, maybe ya should've actually watched.

Good looking matches that will no doubt be ruined by retarded booking, run-ins and non-finishes. Not buying it, but we'll see if I'm right.
Posted By: Banz (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 01:44 AM
maybe they use this to get the title of aj, if so this will be at the very least a good start
Posted By: Guest#5391 (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 05:12 AM
im pulling for tna, but this isnt helping....
where's hogan
Posted By: spot (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 05:26 AM
this may get more comments than buys.
Posted By: plato (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 05:39 AM
This looks to be the final PPV card…
Agreed.
A.J. Styles/Abyss is your main event. Unreal. Could you find two less over people?
Posted By: Guest#6129 (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 06:05 AM
AJ Styles should not be headlining a ppv. Unless they've just given up
Posted By: Royal (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 06:46 AM
I think someone need to inform TNA that its St. Patrick's Day, not April Fools.
Posted By: Moonajuana (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 07:04 AM
Count me as cautiously optimistic. Of course, if they spend 20 minutes having Hogan and Bischoff gibber about nothing in particular the show could still suck giant balls, but if they do it as a straight wrestling show that should be good.
Posted By: BringTheNoise (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 07:15 AM
So there is room for Doug Williams, Kazarian, Matt Morgan, Shannon Moore, Generation Me etc...
But they cant find room for Hulk Fucking Hogan.
Epic "Hulktastic" Failure
Posted By: Ziggy (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 07:22 AM
i predict one of the worst pay-per-views of all time.
Posted By: Kreskin (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 07:23 AM
who are these people. where is hardy flair hogan sting joe jarrett rvd foley 3-D
Posted By: lloyd82 (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 07:45 AM
the ultimate x match and 4 man ladder match look unbelievable...those matches have 8 guys i could watch the length of the entire ppv...hopefully each match gets at least 15 to 20 minutes
Posted By: jwilliams1983 (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 07:48 AM
If you care at all about TNA (I really don't anymore) you should contact them and let them know that you think their product is crap.

No Hogan. No PPV buys.
Put the dam belt on Hogan already. What do they have to loose?
Posted By: Guest#9083 (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 08:17 AM
This is just sad.... Hey TNA fanboys now cry me a river and take a look at WM26's card.
Posted By: The Anvil (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 09:37 AM
No hogan, No flair, No sting, No rvd, No jarrett, No foley, No nasty boys, No jeff hardy.

No, C'mon Seriously?
That is the exact reason you would purchase this ppv.
Posted By: scott (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 02:03 PM
Samoa joe, wolfe, pope, rvd, not on the card, but shannon moore is wrestling for the x div. champ. talk about screwed up.
Posted By: billy (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 02:08 PM
where's the nasty boys? I'm not buying this unless they're on the show.
Posted By: Guest#0048 (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 02:09 PM
Dammit make RVD X Divison champion for LIFE. Best ECW TV champ ever: RVD. Best Hardcore champion edver: RVD. He is made for this title. Is Joe going to the E?
Posted By: SP1 (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 02:55 PM
Fuck all these haters and WWEbots, this looks like a decent card. As long as AJ goes over Abyss and they keep Flair, Hogan, and the rest of the geriatrics off the card.

The geriatrics are half of the TNA roster HA good luck with that!

Posted By: Guest#9083 (Guest) on March 17, 2010 at 08:17 AM
It should be "lose", but that's beside the point. What they will lose if Hogan gets the belt is their remaining audience. Remember when Hogan said he could always rely on getting back in the ring himself and wrestle? That didn't seem to help. Putting the belt on Hogan=burying all the new guys they are trying to make the future of wrestling.
TNA needs to know how to use the old guys differently cause none of them can bring it anymore. Hell, even when Ricky Steamboat came back last year, he wrestled better than any of the old guys in TNA, and even some of the new guys in both organizations.
