whats going on NXT was good last night except for American Drag losing but u emna to tell me that TNA is the equivilant to WWE'S Devlopment show and they can't even beat that.....RIP TNA 2010

WWE's C-brand beating Impact in the ratings. Quite telling really of how terrible TNA is and how decent WWE as a whole is. WWE can be a bit dull at times, but all in all, it's entertaining still and even with the PG rating, has come up with some worthwhile material.

So much for Bitchxie Carter's David and Goliath analogy, lol!

Good. They deserve those ratings.

Seems about right I fell asleep. This 'excitement" has worn off I hope they change this concept so they can get out of these TNA ratings. I am a lifelong WWE fan but I m bored to tears about the presentation of this show. Striker is boring and really overrated.

NXT > TNA

Raw does a 3.7 and NXT does a 0.9.
It might be a good idea to promote NXT during Raw.

and wwe fans talking about tna doing worse ratings starts in 3...2...1

NXT is easily the best wrestling show on TV right now.

Damnit brother. Our backup plan of taking over NXT is over now that their ratings are higher than ours brother.

Posted By: Hulk Hogan (Guest)  on March 17, 2010 at 07:59 PM

they got 60,000 more viewers than tna impact .....so no debating that tna had more total viewers

Bah Gawd.

So much for the show change fixing the ratings issue and it can't blame competiting with Raw like Impact can.

Shame because from what i've seen, the show is a very good concept

WWE still hasn't given people a reason to care about this show. The actual content of the show isn't bad at all, there's just no reason for anyone to invest their time watching it.

WOW.....more than TNA........

That's it WWE! We...wait...ratings don't work like golf scores?

We're fucked.

Posted By: Dixie Carter (Guest)  on March 17, 2010 at 08:34 PM

I like NXT better then ECW, but the rating demonstrates they need to modify the show. Also proof too much wrestling isn't bringing in some viewers. Add more drama, some good story lines and get a chick host and you could get near 1.3. Miz alone brings in 0.1.

Posted By: Commish (Guest)  on March 17, 2010 at 08:48 PM

You guys sound like a bunch of bitches "ha ha, better than TNA".. you should be thinking about why is this show reaching NEW lows for its time slot when ECW was getting 1.5s and 1.6s when Mark Henry was ECW champion and has gone down every since they took the belt off of him and moved the time slot up

Posted By: Industry (Guest)  on March 17, 2010 at 08:49 PM

Of course it beat Impact, it's a WWE show, it's bound to get ore ratings. C Show or A Show

Please NXT is WWE D level program. So Impact can't beat WWE's D show.

When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside. You move Imapact back to Thursday

Really has nothing to do with TNA, but if the idiots want to compare, let them.

I didn't really agree with the decision to drop ECW, especially for this. They should have just tried to make ECW mean something, like maybe making two ECW matches at PPV's and making sure the champ was on every PPV.

People didn't watch ECW at the end because they knew it meant nothing. True, it didn't compare to the old ECW, but who really thought it would? At least it was a place for mid carders to get a little glory and newcomers to get some experience.

I don't think NXT is that bad, but it's no better than ECW in my opinion. I know Vince won't give up on an hour of programming unless the network cancels, so I wonder what he'll try next if this doesn't work out.

i only watch wwe for ratings and not for the product. i can sleep well with ratings

A shame NXT isn't doing better, since it is consistently some of the most entertaining wrestling of the week. This belies the common notion that higher quality = better ratings.

Vince stopped ECW after TNA was always betting them. HOW Soon They Forget. NXT has been losing veiwers since it started.

ok wwe fans so now what? Awww Looks like NXT is not doing so well... next week ratings 0.8 falling off the cliff and Tna will rise to the occasion on Monday and thursday! Tna the little engine that could!!!

Actually the WWE brand name and billion dollar promotional machine is responsible for any ratings this show is getting not the "next generation of wrestlers/future endeavorers"

Posted By: Guest#0115 (Guest)  on March 18, 2010 at 12:43 AM

Wow this show is fading fast. Unlike Impact, it's NOT running head to head against Raw. It's dropped a rating point or more each week.

TNA's full rating won't be in for another 2 weeks - and chances are it will rise a lot as a lot of people will have recorded it to watch raw live.

No idea what nxt's excuse will be though.

So.... Daniel Bryan is a bigger draw than Hulk Hogan?

Posted By: John (Guest)  on March 18, 2010 at 08:32 AM

Essentially they could have just kept NXT as ECW and do what they were doing but like it was said feature the ECW champ and maybe the top two to three contenders in matches on the PPV. Christian was doing his job while in ECW fueding with and in essence carrying the newer faces in the WWE to decently worked matches. The title could have been transitioned to another ring veteran that had a different style than Christian and then that verteran could still work with the newer talent. Essentially if a new talent got a good to great reaction, good work rate they get the ECW title, a couple pay per view matches and then shifted to Raw or Smackdown...rinse repeat.

That not withstanding the idea of NXT is still a good concept but, come on in some way shape or form damn near all of these rookies will be kept by the WWE unless they completely suck. As for Daniel Bryan he is the only one that seems to have the ready made fued already. The rest have to keep working at it.

While many people don't worry about ratings. They are a good indication of how the audience feels about the product. NXT is a real good show (better than both Raw and Impact IMO), yet the ratings are getting lower every week. They are now near the ratings ECW was getting. That tells me that people aren't interested in yet another wrestling show. Maybe if Superstars wasn't around it would be different. You notice that ECW's ratings were pretty steady until Superstars made it's debute. Four shows from the WWE is one too many. I have a feeling that there won't be a second cast after this group is finished. Maybe making Superstars a two hour program may be better for the WWE.

Why do people care about ratings so much? Of course WWE is gonna score higher, they've been building their brand for decades going back to the old WWWF days, all this back n forth between WWETards and TNAndroids is pathetic. Some of u sound like a bunch of 6 year olds, just enjoy the damn shows or dont watch!
