There were only about 30 tweets from everyone on their roster about how there WAS NOT going to be a replay anymore. Way to continue to look bush league.

The show so nice we're gonna shit on it twice, TNA Impact.
How about some fucking good WRESTLING, hot ANGLES, and compelling STORYLINES that don't make me want to blow my head off?
Oh sorry I forgot we're talking about the Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff show, 10 years after it failed the first time. Fuck.

Im a fan of TNA and WWE, but this is one of the reasons their doing so bad.. Same thing with the X Division Epics. They kept moving it around saying this day then that day and I almost missed it because I thought they werent going to show it. You cant go back and forth and say their will be a replay then there wont because you'll just confuse everyone and no one who actually wants to watch your show, will because they dont know its on... GET IT TOGETHER

This is probably the only way the Monday Night TNA Impact will beat WWE in the ratings, by beating WWE Superstars. It worked last week.

initially, i say smart thinking, but on second thought-it just says that they will do this every week, which means no reason to watch impact on mondays....(sighs)

Tna should move back to Thursday nights anyway but still live one week and taped the next. They r not ready to compete with the WWE.

Maybe if TNA can get three or four more timeslots from Spike, they can reply Impact all week and garner a decent rating?

How desparate to say there is no replay just to get you to watch an already taped show. In the words of Paul Orndorff this is 2nd rate this is bush league.

Remember they are going head to head against the Wrestlemania buildup...had they started Mondays last June I dont think they would have faced such an uphill battle..but still Id rather watch old STARS than WWE's no-names that they are shoving down our throats. And that is the problem...not since The ROCK, STONE COLD, and GOLDBERG has there been anyone who has been elevated to a Star...even Edge seems like a bush leager...

So what is TNA idea? Add the rating son the replay on thrusday and the TNA on MOnday to get an overall rating LOL I mean after all it's the same show 0-0 maybe than they can get at least a 1.2 ~
Or are they trying the audience viewing to see if they should have never left Thursdays and the niche audience !
Alothough i jest i am a big TNA fan - makes me ill the lack of support they are getting from wrestling fans~ I see more wanting them to fall on their faces than to succeed! All the while eagerly gobbling up the shit WWE hand forces down their throats!
it amazes me how they bash TNA yet swallow with glee the puttied garbage has to offer !

Why dont they stop using Twitter as a way to break news/promote their show? If you want to promote your show, use the TELEVISION!

Really? Because my TV listing for 9pm tomorrow night on Spike says The Predator is supposed to be on. I guess we'll see.

As long as fans like it.
It's all too cool.
I liked Dixie's Epics commentating. Taz was great also along with talent interviews. For once, it'd great having a choice.
Keep pushing. Maybe Vince can flip burgers and give something else to the fans that help build his empire. Go ahead Vince, flip burgers and serve the fans. Show us you care and dare. If Jeff can do it, so can you.

Didn't appreciate the Bait and Switch, number one; on the other hand, you have to saturate it as much as you can. At least this way TNA is guaranteed some more viewers and possibly the viewers from Monday.

I can see why they doing this, moreso probably for Spike who have taken the hit.
but i'd much rather they tried to get one further show, say a 1 hour show on a thursday and just use that whole hour for pure wrestling
If as mentioned they coudl showcase the talent instead of the storylines it may attract people to watch, but like with Raw the main show has to be storyline focused for the PPV, but a small show with just 2-3 wrestling matches and a short re-cap of impact would be good i think.

They are making the right move by going against the E on Mondays and catching their core on Thursdays. I think the mistake in their thinking is that there is a larger audience out there who'll tune back into wrestling if given an "alternative" to WWE-PG. There isn't a pool to tap into. WWE audience IS the pool. I'm absolutely certain that a portion the TNA audience is also the WWE audience. They'd watch RAW on Mondays and tune into Impact on Thursdays. The pool is shallow, more so than ever before. I don't know enough about Nielsen ratings to know but it would be interesting to see, if there is data available on individual level, how much overlap there is. Who's the guy on 411 to get that info, Prag ?
The people who used to watch wrestling during the WWF/WCW have been tuning into other things, mainly MMA.

I wonder if the replay is there so they can pull the plug on the Monday experiment without really disrupting the audience. I think if they move back to Thursday, cut unneeded new/rehashed talent such as Hall, Orlando Jordan, Pac etc. They could get back to being closer to a business model that was profitable, push long standing TNA guys, use a few new guys, and then maybe use Flair and Hogan's name to help with international sales and shows. I think if they fail to do this TNA will be on sale by the end of 2010 and Vince's video library will be growing again.

If TNA is so ready to jump into the deep end and compete with the big boys on Monday night, then do it. Don't keep reshowing Impact on Thursdays and puffing out your chests and boasting how you're going head-to-head on Mondays with the WWE, TNA. If nobody watches on Mondays, and the Thursday replay gets solid ratings, maybe you're not ready to go against WWE just yet.
