FCW Taping Results [SPOILERS]

July 23, 2010 | Posted by Chris Lansdell

Here are the results of the recent FCW tapings, for the next three weeks of TV. Repor courtesy Michael Spears and PWInsider:

Dark Match:

Titus O’Neill & Rudy Parker defeated Rhys Ali & ????

First Episode:

Brett DiBiase was announced as the FCW One Night Stand General Manager. He cut a promo heeling the crowd about being poor, stating that he had just tapped into his half of the trust fund. He then created the next match just for his enjoyment.

Wes Brisco won the Generations Match featuring all second or third generation wrestlers with three ways of being eliminated were to be pinned, submit, or to go over the top rope. The order of eliminations are as follows:

Husky Harris was thrown over the top rope by everybody.
Bo Rotundo was thrown over the top rope by Donny Marlow.
Richie Steamboat was thrown over the top rope by the Usos.
Marlow was pinned by Jimmy Uso.
Jimmy Uso was accidentally kicked over the top rope by Jey Uso.
Jey was thrown over the top rope by Brisco.

Mason Ryan cut a promo.

Johnny Curtis pinned Jacob Novak.

Florida Tag Team Champions Epico & Hunico defeated Michael McGillicutty & Kaval to retain the titles.

Second Episode:

Abraham Washington was the FCW One Night Stand General Manager.

“Showtime” Percy Watson pinned Caylen Croft.

FCW Divas Champion Naomi Knight defeated Tamina.

Leo Kruger defeated Big E Langston.

Jinder Mahal cut a promo.

Abraham Washington announced Mason Ryan would take part in the triple threat match for the FCW Florida Heavyweight Title.

Mason Ryan pinned FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion Alex Riley in a triple threat match that also included Johnny Curtis to win the title. Ryan, who bares a resemblance to Batista, botched the initial finish (a move where he caught a flying Riley horizontally across his body and spun him around in a Rock Bottom) so he picked him up and hit him with another one that was a little better.

Third Episode:

Richie Steamboat pinned Trent Barreta.

Bo Rotundo pinned Tyler Reks.

Naomi Knight & ???? defeated Derrick Bateman & AJ Lee.

Jackson Andrews pinned Lucky Cannon in a squash.

Kaval defeated Alex Riley by submission.

Notes:

The show was sold out. I was told that each Thursday night show since the early June Smackdown taping in Tampa had been sold out.

Abraham Washington & Byron Saxton provided the commentary.

There were quite a few new wrestlers since the last time I attended a show so I apologize for not getting all of their names.
