On their website…
- With WWE Smackdown heading to the SyFy Channel on October 1st, SyFy has started promoting the show's arrival on their website. The site has the following blurb posted…
This fall, the super heroes of wrestling have a new home. Friday Night SmackDown will premiere on its new home October 1st at 8:00 PM ET. The program, which debuted more than 10 years ago, is one of the longest-running weekly episodic shows on television.
Featuring a star-studded cast of WWE Superstars and Divas, Friday Night SmackDown will deliver a shot of adrenaline to Syfy's lineup and bring fans over-the-top action, feats of athleticism beyond the reach of mortal men, and WWE's special brand of drama. Larger-than-life personalities like Undertaker, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Michelle McCool and Beth Phoenix, among others, are set to deliver their explosive power to Syfy's Friday night lineup and remind viewers that it takes more than muscle to Imagine Greater.
Wow only about 2 more months. I don't know about you guys, but I'm very happy that this is finally happening. No more high school basketball pre-emptions FTW!

Okay, what the hell, I'll bite - Michelle McCool has a larger-than-life personality?

Don't tell me I'm going to have to listen to this line on Smackdown, too.

I wonder if they're really moving Edge back to Smackdown.

So I guess that means Edge is probaly heading back to Smackdown?

Edge back to Smackdown?
Ehhh, I'd be sort of hesitant with that as there's really no one there he hasn't feuded extensively with besides Punk. And I don't really see them moving anyone else big over from Raw besides Edge and MAYBE either Jericho (again) or Sheamus (but he's Triple H's workout buddy so it looks like he's staying where he's at).
If they were smart they'd move Randy Orton over and let him carry the brand to be relatively on par with Raw. If not him then John Cena (but that won't happen) or Triple H (but he'd probably just steal the entire show for himself like he did last time, and then start showing up on Raw come WrestleMania time with no reason why. And then get drafted back.....).
But yeah, my point is Smackdown desperately needs a main event makeover. I understand they lost Jeff Hardy and that sucks, but that was no reason to have Taker run over Punk and then book the brand into mediocrity from there on out.

I give MYTV (or whatever that psuedo-network) six more months of existance before collapsing once SmackDown leaves.

They've been airing commercials for it too, so its not just limited to the website.
and thank god, there's no McCool on the commercials, just cody, rey, and kofi.....hmmmm, maybe it wouldnt be such a bad idea to get some big fake titties in there...

Great since I'll finally be able to see it in HD. (Since my local affiliate shows it in SD on their HD channel. Well that and they fired Al Kaprielian)

Great, more "longest running weekly episodic" lines. You know, just because you make a lot of shows doesn't mean they are good.. majority of them are average at best.
Michelle McCool is a larger than life personality.. now, if we can only find out where she left it.

Wait, I thought they were moving it to Tuesdays? Does this mean NXT might still be around? Or does SyFy want to stay known as the terrible movie channel and not the channel with two wrestling shows?
