NWA News and Notes
Posted by Chris Lansdell on 07.31.2010

- The NWA has a big show on Sunday night at the Ohio State Fair. Abyss will take on Scott Steiner in one main event, with NWA World champ Adam Pearce facing NWA National champ Phil Shatter for the NWA World Title. Also on the card, Shark Boy will face former TNA referee Mike Posey. More information and ticket details are available here.

- NWA Southwest also has a big card in August, this one on August 15. Adam Pearce is scheduled to face former WWE star Charlie Haas. Also scheduled is Matt Borne in what is being billed as his final appearance as Doink the Clown. Charlie's wife Jackie Gayda-Haas is also set to appear. The show will be taped to air locally and will be released on DVD in October.

Abyss vs. Scott Steiner sounds really good to me.

Maybe NWA Southwest can get a TV deal on USA Network only to have the WWE steal the timeslot and put A.M. Smackdown in its place.

I can't believe this idiot thinks Evan Bourne is Matt Bourne's son. How do you not know they're brothers?
