Posted by Chris Lansdell on 08.21.2010
The news keeps coming...
- Alberto Del Rio's bio went live on WWE.com last night, but with the following line included. I'm presuming this wasn't supposed to be there:
"Are you ok with this for Del Rio's bio. Just asking because I know he's supposed to be a big deal, fairly quick."

- John Cena is set to guest star on the September 12 episode of Hannah Montana Forever, which is huge with kids. Here's the synopsis for the episode:
Lilly finally wants to ride Blue Jeans, however on the ride Blue Jeans gets bitten by a snake and falls to the ground ill. Lilly and Robby Ray help support Miley as Blue recovers. Meanwhile Jackson tries to impress Siena by reading her one of her favorite books, but get's sidetracked by his wrestling magazines. John Cena Guest Stars as himself to provide Jackson with real life motivation.
- An article on Linda McMahon bringing up the death of Lance Cade is available here. The piece also mentions the other WWE talents who have died from heart problems.
- The following shows are some of those that beat TNA Impact on Thursday night: The First 48 (1.96 million viewers), Squad Prison Police (1.47 million), Real Housewives of DC (1.37 million), Futurama (1.77 million), Stan Lee's Superhumans (1.36 million), Project Runway (3.44 million), On the Road with Austin & Santino (1.68 million), Jersey Shore (5.50 million), American Chopper Senior vs. Junior (2.56 million), Burn Notice (5.50 million) and Royal Pains (5.27 million). Holy shit, a screen cap of the Del Rio bit is needed. That's too good to be true, fuckin' hilarious.

Unless Mr. Del Rio surprises us, I suspect this accident will only grow more funny with time.

What's worse, Jersey Shore or the Real Housewives reality show? Both represent the worst of popular culture.

I don't know who's more stupid, the cast of jersey shore or the people that actually take the time to watch that horseshit.

If they managed to get all the characters intact somehow, a new episode of The Golden Girls would beat everything in the ratings, any day of the week.
Posted By: Kip (Guest) on August 21, 2010 at 10:31 PM
Thats fitting, since Cena is the Hannah Montana of wrestling. 12 year olds and under love them, and everyone else will never understand why.
Posted By: JWestmoreland (Guest) on August 21, 2010 at 10:41 PM
Lily wants to ride Blue Jeans however Blue Jeans is a person.
Really Disney? Not bad enough the girls are reaching for the Jona's Brothers Junk in the poster.
Posted By: Guest#0436 (Guest) on August 21, 2010 at 10:52 PM
@ Kip
If they somehow managed to bring Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan & Estelle Getty back to life, it would indeed beat everything else on TV.

Del Rio: Acuerdo Grande!
Posted By: Guest#0309 (Guest) on August 21, 2010 at 11:53 PM
Cena and Hanna Montana huh? Yeah not surprising.
If Romper Room and Capt Kangaroo were still around I am sure he would be hosting one of those by now.

Good News everyone! TNA is doing great with stars like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair! They are older than I am so it is an impressive feat! Wait..What?...They are doing horrible you say?

I haven't heard of half of these shows. TNA is definitely a failure if it's being beaten by some of these.
Posted By: Jim (Guest) on August 22, 2010 at 05:32 AM
A Austin Santino reality show sounds FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!
\m/
Book it, anybody!!!
Posted By: Guest#3191 (Guest) on August 22, 2010 at 07:36 AM
I know people hate TNA and hell wrestling as a whole but seriously Real Housewives (freakin cokewhores) Jersey Shore (not even being shot in New Jersey) beat Impact in ratings. I guess people don't want to watch the same thing in TNA

(or the Yokozuna push if you want to go back further.)

It may be mindless fun, but so is wrestling. I'm sure there's a lot of people who would say the same about you for watching Raw or Impact or ROH or whatever wrestling you watch and for spending time on websites like 411Mania reading about it. Anyway, they're funny and they know how to have a good time and people like you just feed their already massive egos. So stop hating, you make all of us wrestling fans look bad.
