Various News: More Linda Coverage, Flair Ineterview, Danielson's Last Indy Date, More
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 08.26.2010

- The Atlantic has an article up talking about how the death of recent wrestlers is haunting the McMahon campaign. It also notes that Linda is trailing Democrat Richard Blumenthal but has been closing the gap "because of her charisma (and ability, for the most part, to avoid the steroid/wrestling controversy)" and because Blumenthal is not a good campaigner. You can see that here.

- The New York Times has a story on the media coverage of wrestlers deaths that you can read here.

- Bryan Danielson is still scheduled for the Northeast Wrestling show on October 1st in Waterbury, Connecticut which appears to be his last independent date. The show is advertising Mickie James vs. Awesome Kong, Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito, Tommy Dreamer wrestling and an appearance by George Steele.

- ESPN has an interview with Ric Flair where he talks about various subjects, including why he's still wrestling. You can check that out here.

- Scripps News has an interview with Charlie Haas talking about teaming with Shelton Benjamin on the September 11th Ring of Honor show that you can read here.

Linda does have charisma. I guess you WWE sheep only construe charisma as shouting down the mic and acting over-the-top. If she isn't charismatic, then I suggest you watch her heel turn on JR!

I like how 411mania emphasized the part about Linda being charismatic? Define charisma before making fun of her. I bet she has WAY more personality and charisma than any of you wet bags.

To all those who criticize Republicans for being so bad....just remember that it was the GOP who advocated the abolition of the slave trade, while the Democrats enacted some of the most discriminatory race laws of the time. Woodrow Wilson is a classic example of this. Many of the notable civil rights activists like Martin Luther King were registed Republicans!

Shows how good the Democrats are.

yea, because the US can afford yet another Republican administration. the last one only scrapped the balanced budget law that Clinton enacted, doubled the national debt in two years, failed to enact legislation that would have prevented the economic meltdown (which would have been especially easy for them to do when the Republicans spent 6 straight years with a majority big enough to prevent a filibuster) and also indebted the US to such state sponsers of terrorism as Saudi Arabia, China and IRAN from which DUBYA borrowed money to fund the war in Iraq.

and we won't even discuss that in 8 years, DUBYA borrowed more money from other countries than every single presidential administration before him combined.

yea

vote the democrats out because they have to clean up the corruption that the republicans left them with.

A Republican Congress made Clinton balance the budget.
