Kurt Angle Endorses Linda McMahon

Calling her a "great woman..."
Kurt Angle posted the following on his Twitter feed:
To all connecticut residents, as u know linda mcmahon is running for office. I worked with linda on many projects in wwe. Linda was a professional that got things done. I worked with her on "smackdown ur vote" among many other projects. She is smart, bright and a true leader. I am now in tna and it doesn't benefit me to talk about linda or what a great woman she is. I saw with my own eyes. She's honest, sincere and always looked out for what was best to her employees. Linda was the positiveness in wwe. She has the qualities that I would want in a politician. She listens to you, and always does the right thing. If I were living in connecticut, I would vote for her with pride and an eagerness to get the economy, real estate and health reform back on track. Remember, I'm in tna and I don't plan on leaving but I want what is best for this country, and linda mcmahon has that "IT" factor you rarely see in today's leaders. Good luck linda. GOD bless, kurt angle 1996 olympic gold medalist and proud AMERICAN
Looks like Kurt is angling for a move back to greener pastures.

This about seals the deal. Kurt 'retires' from TNA after losing a match (the finals of that title tournament?) and goes back to WWE to have another top run before really ending his career.

He should of added in he won the medal with a broken fricken neck.
Posted By: cenasucks (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 08:54 PM
Haha he so wants back in the WWE. He at least wishes to preserve his legacy and not be written out entirely. He's a Hall of Fame caliber guy if WWE doesn't hate him.

Bwhahahahahahahahaha.....money that's all she has money and unfortunately money usually wins in our politics now..........

Hell has frozen over...
And your new TNA Champion...Linda McMahon.
Now all she needs is Paul Roma's endorsement and she is set.
Posted By: Jeff (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 08:57 PM
its true. its DAMN true
Posted By: Guest#8836 (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 09:02 PM
Angle is the mole he's defecting 2 the wwe
Posted By: Jamille420 (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 09:03 PM
"Remember, I'm in tna and I don't plan on leaving but I want what is best for this country"...suuuuure you do. That's why you put the McMahons over in just about every interview you do. Anyone who thinks Angle is loyal to TNA is a fool. If the WWE called him back tomorrow he'd close the door on TNA without even a glance back.
In the meantime, way to keep those doors wide open for a return, Kurt.

Career suicide.

What an endorsement. Kurt Angle who quit the WWE because he's an addict and didn't want to go to rehab, has bad mouthed WWE ever since and has been been charged with domestic violence and arrestd.
Posted By: baker (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 09:29 PM
Sounds like somebody wants their old job back...
Posted By: cwell510 (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 09:36 PM
Well, common sense says her winning this is good for wrestling in general, so Im more suprised Kurt is the first non-wwe guy to come out in support of her

LOL at "legacy". It's wrestling dude, no such thing as a legacy. Unless by "legacy", you mean a fat WWE contract and a chance to escape Universal Orlando. Then I agree with you.

Angle is an amazing wrestler and a complete fucking idiot. Is there anyone in wrestling who doesn't have their head up their ass?
The moronic idea that *well, if we elect millionaires to positions of power they'll be less likely to take payoff money from corporations* is completely false. These dickbags are millionaires for a reason, they fucking love money. It's like putting big game hunters in charge of the Sierra Club *they won't shoot the endangered animals because they've shot tons of them already*, brilliant!
Oh, my mistake, everything he said is completely and totally valid because he ended it with "AMERICAN" in all caps. I forgot some calendars perpetually read 9/12/01.

Posted By: Guest#0863 (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 10:42 PM
I'm probably saying what everybody else is, but still, looks like Kurt Angle will be "retiring" from TNA, and building himself back to the WWE
Posted By: SS87 (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 10:58 PM
Welcome back to WWE Kurt
Posted By: Guest#8848 (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 11:02 PM
no big deal.
Kurt wants his last match to be in front of 50,000 fans, not 500. It's understandable.
Posted By: Guest#2884 (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 11:03 PM
She listens to you unless your name was Lance Cade.
Posted By: Michael (Guest) on August 27, 2010 at 11:50 PM
Nice set of lips to reach Vince's ass, Kurt.

wait a second, the charges didn't stand, and he was never convicted of domestic violence.
arrests mean nothing without a conviciton.

We all know Kurt will be back someday. He hasn't had the HOF yet. Same with Foley.
Can you blame Angle? Vince'll buy TNa out in a few years anyway
Posted By: Guest#9461 (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 12:46 AM
YES go Kurt!
Posted By: Guest#5558 (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 12:48 AM
He's actually pretty smart. Use his final "angle" with TNA to put himself over the entire top roster of the company only to lose one match in the finals of the tourney then "retire". Pure Gold! HHH would be proud.

Sounds like one of his heel promos, what is her opponent like? I feel like we hear so much about her we may as well know about her opponent. Plus, she may be good for business but maybe not politics... she has been in a privilegded position for a while and the world is changing for old ways..

Angle v Swagger @ Wrestlemania 27?
Posted By: Guest#9468 (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 02:59 AM
Maybe his in-ring nickname should have been The Obstructionist. We all now know how well it would fit.

Your Hireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddd!
Posted By: Vince McMahon (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 04:39 AM
Thank you Kurt! Linda is indeed the person for the job. Career politicians are ruining the fabric of this country and the American Dream must restored. Linda is an inspiration to many up and coming entrepreneurs.

Looks like Angle is badly needing the WWE Paycheck again !
And your next HOF INDUCTEE IS....
Posted By: Oh It's True ! (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 07:42 AM
Suck up Kurt! now make Styles, Daniels, Joe, Shelley, Sabin, and Mcguiness do the same!
Posted By: Guest#2433 (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 07:54 AM
If he is doing this endorsement to kiss up to Vince, well that is pretty phony. However I am a huge Angle fan and I would love to see him back with Vince. Kurt needs one last run in the WWE before retiring.
Posted By: Buntster (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 07:59 AM
I guess this means Kurt Angel will be losing the TNA World tournament and then winning the World Heavyweight Title on Smackdown. And that means your new TNA World Champion is going to be Mr. Anderson, the only wrestler that gets TNA fans to admit they're assholes!
Posted By: JAK (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 08:19 AM
Yeah go back to the WWE and end up a forgotten mid-carder like Christian did.
Posted By: JR (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 10:27 AM
Oh that's good Kurt, lick my balls for a little. Swallow it! Oh, that was great. Welcome back.
Posted By: Vince McMahon (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 11:05 AM
His endorsement means nothing. Its technically a local election. I strongly doubt anyone in CT who watches TNA over WWE will vote for Linda because Kurt says to.
Posted By: Marksman (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 11:17 AM
Smart Kurt. Keeping the doors open for the closing chapters on his career.
Posted By: Guest#9891 (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 12:31 PM
TNA does not have the three I's...
Intensity...
Integrity...
Intelligence.
Oh btw, WWE already hired Kurt Angle Jr. his name is Jack Swagger.
Posted By: New Franklin (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 03:24 PM
im all for him returing to WWE where he belongs...what has TNA really done for him? all TNA has done for this Guy is fuck up his marriage & him losing his wife to jeff jarrett...i mean like seriously? now im not claiming Kurt is perfect cuz we all are not pefect but WWE is where he belongs & really wants to be...u can see it on his face....he aint happy in TNA & hasnt been for quite awhile now...all TNA does treat this guy like a joke that he aint...im all for him to come back to us(WWE Fans/WWE Inc)
Posted By: WWE Fan & damn Proud of it (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 04:04 PM
just cause he said he is not leaving TNA anytime soon doesn't mean he won't go back to WWE before his career is over. i think this is the first step in Angle slowly heading back to the WWE...
Posted By: Guest#3464 (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 04:13 PM
TNA sucks!!!!
Posted By: Guest#4883 (Guest) on August 28, 2010 at 04:14 PM
Once again you guys are all idiots. ;> Well spoken endorsement of a woman he respects, he didn't have to do that and it's just a nice thing to see, whatever your politics are.

I agree with that general idea but he's not leaving this fall. They're putting the belt on him and I'm sure they have him locked down.

lol @ the idea that a professional wrestler from a minor league organization endorsing a political candidate is somehow relevant. Spoiler: it isn't.

Something you internet idiots always fail to understand is that the rule of law does not apply to the court of public opinion.
Posted By: INTERNETZ (Guest) on August 29, 2010 at 02:31 PM
What a dumb-ass. But then, pro wrestlers aren't known for being terribly smart. See: Lesnar, Brock - comments on healthcare system based on one visit to one Canadian hospital.
But all that aside, I'll like to see him come back to WWE and not get buried - maybe even go over HHH on his way in, come back big.

If you say so, virgin. Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Bret Hart prove you wrong. The only big name I'd want to be nowadays is The Rock, and he never associates himself with wrestling anymore. Fuck legacy.
